Chapter 10

23:03, 23 February 2020

Previously Little did me and Samu know, Guzmán wasn't the only other surprise person at his house.

Moments later we heard something fall in one of the rooms. Guzmán looked as if this didn't surprise him. While Samuels grip on me tightened.

"What was that sound?" Samuel asked suspiciously looking around trying to spot another person.

"Oh it's your friend. The annoying one," Guzmán replied. "she wouldn't leave me alone until she knew where you were. Hey you can come out now!"

A few seconds later Rebeca walked through the hall door. She smiled at Samuel the moment she saw him. Until she notice me at his hip then that smile turned to a look of disappointment.

"Rebe what brings you here?" Samuel question looking at her curiously.

"I haven't seen or heard from you since I dropped you at your place yesterday." Rebeca replied glaring at me instead of looking at Samuel.

" I needed to get away for a day but I'm good I'll see you at school tomorrow." He said walking her to the door before she could argue.

Samuel walked her out and shut the door behind her before she could complain. When he walked back he grabbed my hand and led me to the couch. Guzmán followed closely behind the two of us and sat on a chair opposite to us.

"How long do the two of you plan on being here?" Guzmán asked turning on the tv and switching through the channels.

"I was planning on going home tomorrow.  I'm not sure about Samuel." I answered him playing around with Samu's fingers.

"I'll go home tomorrow I need to face my mother sometime soon." He said laying his head on my shoulder.

"That's fine by me I don't care if you guys stay here. The place is barely ever used by my family anymore. Just let me know and I'll keep cover for the two of you." Guzmán replied as he stood up and got ready to leave.

"See you tomorrow Guzmán and thanks." I replied for the both of us.  Samuel nodded his head at him as he walked out the door.

We sat in a comfortable silence for a while until I dozed off in his lap.

Samuel

I looked down to see Carla asleep in my lap. I brush a strand of her hair behind her ear and smiled. She looks like an angel when she sleeps.

I picked her up bridal style and carried her into the bedroom and laid her on the bed. After making sure she was tucked in good I went outside.

I walked over to Marina's grave and sat down. The silence outside was nice and really cleared my mind. After awhile I got bored and finally turned my phone on for the first time since yesterday night.

When the phone finally turned on I had multiple missed calls and text from various people. I was about to text my mother when Rebe texted.

'Hey asswipe thanks for kicking me out earlier'-Rebe

'It was my pleasure'-Samu

We continued conversating for awhile before I heard leaves crunching behind me. I turned around and Carla was walking up to me wrapped up in a sheet.

"Hey you're up." I said as I stood to go meet her.

"Ya I woke up and you weren't there I got worried."

"I'm fine I needed some air. Let's get you back inside."

I scooped her up in my arms and walked us back into the house. I nodded my head in the direction of the living room and she shook her head. I turned towards the bedroom and laid her back down.

She scooted over so I could lay down then cuddled back into me. We were talking about going back to school tomorrow when I got bored.

She was in the middle of complaining about Rebe when I put my lips on hers to shut her up. She moved hers with mine in rhythm before she straddled my waist. The kiss got more and more passionate until well we did you know what.

Merry early Christmas.
