"Dracooo!" Eclaire exclaimed excitedly as she banged on his door. "Dra—"

Eclaire was cut off as the door slammed open revealing a shirtless Draco who stood alarmed, wand in hand and eyes scanning his surroundings. His eyes finally landed on the short haired witch and after giving her a once over to ensure she stood unharmed, his posture relaxed.

"Why in Merlin's name are you shouting at—" Draco's eyes glanced towards the wall clock, "—bloody six in the morning?" He finally sneered back.

But his words didn't register in Eclaire's mind, no they didn't, not one bit. I think my mind's turned to mush. She gulped, her eyes trailing down the length of the silver haired wizard's bare torso starting from his delectable collarbone to his well defined chest which was splayed with a small array of dark blonde hair down to—

Eclaire's excavation was put to rest as the silver haired wizard cleared his throat.

Oops. Eclaire thought as she gave him a wide smile, giggling under her hand.

"Because it's Christmas ofcourse!" She exclaimed as if it was the simplest definition in the world. "We have to unwrap the presents!"

"And this couldn't have waited?" Draco grumbled. Eclaire's eyes dropped to his biceps that flexed as the grey eyed wizard crossed his arms across his chest.

"Could you please put on a t-shirt?" Eclaire asked meekly as she tried to keep her eyes on the grey eyed wizard's face. Tried being the word.

Draco smirked as he slowly backed her into the wall putting both of his arms on either side of her face. "Why? Does it distract you, darling?"

"Yes." Eclaire replied in a heartbeat. "Also, I would be violating you by staring without consent and that's never okay." Eclaire said raising her index finger and swishing it left and right along with her head.

Draco's head dropped on her shoulder as his body reverberated before Eclaire actually realised that he was laughing. By God, is Draco Lucius Malfoy actually laughing? And why is the sound of his laugh so alluring? It sounds like something one would hear on their way to heaven. Eclaire thought.

Draco finally raised his head and looked at her in the eyes, soft brown clashing with icy blue. Fruitful spring colliding with harsh winter. Draco's eyes held the kind of beauty that was almost ethereal, they seemed to pull one in and hold them hostage willingly. They were the personification of snow—beautiful beyond belief but cold, they held beauty but they also held pain that wanted—no—demanded to be seen, beauty that demanded to be appreciated.

"And who says it wouldn't be consensual?" Draco asked raising one of his eyebrows.

From this close, Eclaire could smell the enchanting scent of Chocolate mixed with spice, their breaths intermingling, eyes hazed.

"Mr Malfoy?" Eclaire ducked under his arms as she made a beeline for the stairs, her hair bouncing with her. Draco smiled and looked at his butler.

"Yes?" He asked.

"Miss Eclaire had taken it upon herself to awaken you so I thought I would clean your bedroom in the meantime, but I can come back later if it is an inconvenience." The butler said slowly, gauging his master's reaction expecting him to blow off any second.

"No go ahead, I'm already up anyways." Draco said gesturing to his bedroom. "I'll take a bath while you're at it." Draco mumbled as he walked into his bathroom.

"I'll leave your clothes on the bed then, Mr Malfoy." The older man said as he started fixing the Malfoy heir's room. What he hadn't expected to hear was—

"Thanks, Tom."

The older butler damn near had a heart attack at the words of gratitude from his usually brooding master.

I wonder if it's got anything to do with a certain witch downstairs. Tom thought as he folded the blankets.

"Finally!" Eclaire exclaimed as she saw Draco sauntering down the stairs dressed in a green sweater and black trousers with his hands in his pockets, his hair tied into a messy bun at his nape.

Draco looked up at the exclamation to see the midget sitting expectantly on the couch but what he saw on the wall next to the couch made him halt in his steps.

"Did you—did you draw that?" He asked as he stared at the piece of paper pasted hastily on the wall.

"Well you didn't have a Christmas tree..." Eclaire mumbled embarassed.

"So you drew one?" Draco asked, his amusement barely contained.

Eclaire's heart fluttered on seeing the wizard smile.

"Yes! It wouldn't exactly be Christmas without a Christmas tree but it was too late by the time I realised you didn't have one so I had to make do with what I had." She explained. "Oh!" She clapped her hands together as she took out her wand. "It jingles too!" She swished her wand and the ornaments that she had drawn on the tree moved making a bell-like sound. "See?" She asked him grinning, proud of her work.

Draco rolled his eyes as he settled on the couch as well. His eyes landed on the stock of presents under the drawing of the tree.

"Why do you even need me to be there while you unwrap presents?"

"It's no fun opening them alone." Eclaire pouted. "Besides, don't you want to open yours?" She asked innocently.

"Midget, I haven't received presents since—" since my mother died he wanted to say but stopped himself. "Point is, I haven't sent or received presents in ages." Draco said noticing the apalled look on Eclaire's face.

"Well you're wrong!" Eclaire huffed as she went to pick up a box wrapped in pink paper with a hot pink ribbon on top. "You've got a present." She said handing it to him who took it sceptically.

"From who?" He asked confused.

"From me!" She huffed out.

He stared down at box in his hands.

"Go on open it!" She exclaimed excited.

Draco gently took off the ribbon, still not believing that she'd gone and got him something, a present. She'd thought about me enough to get me a present. Draco thought still not being able to wrap his head around the fact.

He opened the lid of the box to find a collection of items. He picked the first object out.

"A set of pens! I noticed that you carried the blue pen I gave you with you everywhere so I thought to get you an entire new set since the ink might run out anytime! Also they have different colored inks! Green, Red, Pink, Blue, Black, you name it!" Eclaire said proudly.

Draco pulled out the next item.

"I knit that scarf myself! I noticed you were your house colors a lot so I made it in Emerald green and silver!" Eclaire explained as Draco's eyes fell on a small inscription written in silver thread on the very end of the scarf. "Hiss Hiss, Biss. It was actually supposed to be Hiss Hiss, Bitch but I didn't want to stitch a profanity so I changed it." Eclaire explained. Draco nodded.

He pulled out the next item.

"I noticed you really like drinking coffee everyday but drinking from those plastic cups really isn't good for your health so I got you a reusable tumbler with a straw and look—" Eclaire pointed out on the tumbler, "I found this really cute snake wearing a scarf online so I got it printed on here. That's where I got the idea for the scarf from!" Eclaire grinned.

Draco pulled out the last object.

"I—"

"You noticed." Draco cut Eclaire off.

"Yes, well I did, I noticed that you look at wall clocks to make note of the time but then I thought—what if he's outside and doesn't see a wall clock in the vicinity!" Eclaire gasped dramatically. "So I got you a wristwatch!" She grinned as the silver haired wizard opened the small box to see a sleek black watch sitting neatly surrounded by blue cushioning.

"You only ever wear black clothing so I thought a black watch would be the best choice." Eclaire said she watched the silver haired wizard still gazing the watch.

"Did you like it?" She asked meekly.

He looked up at her and nodded, at a loss for words. "Thank you." He finally said and the wizard meant it. He didn't remember anyone having put this amount of thought into a gift. Even his parents hadn't, they would buy the most expensive thing on the market of the season and that would be his gift every birthday or Christmas. Nobody had cared about small details, of what he liked and what he didn't.

"I am glad!" Eclaire smiled as she went to open her presents, which were a lot, but Draco wasn't surprised. The woman did have the tendency to befriend anyone and everyone. Draco carefully set his presents on the side as he watched her unwrap her first.

"It's from Madam Puddifoot!" Eclaire exclaimed as she unwrapped a book labelled The Magic Behind Crazy Sweet Creations: Advanced Baking.

Eclaire unwrapped a box full of japanese snacks and a Kimono jacket from Yuko, a pair of gloves from Grace, an array of sweets from different coworkers and people that she'd helped along with a scandalous outfit from Mirajane that she refused to show Draco at all costs.

Finally she picked up a plain golden box. "Who is this from?" Eclaire asked aloud as she examined the box for a sender but found none. She carefully removed the top lid and gasped.

The prettiest shade of rose gold heels stared back at her from the box. It was an open toed design with strings to tie it at the ankle. It looks too expensive to even touch. She thought as she gingerly ran her fingers along the length of the shoes.

She picked up a single note that came with it inside the box and opened it to read—To go with the dress. She questioningly looked at the last box left and hurriedly picked it up, seeing familiar sign of Twilfitt And Tattings. She looked up at Draco questioningly as if to convey you didn't.

Draco merely shrugged his shoulders.

Eclaire peeled open to reveal the same dusty pink fabric that she had fallen in love with at the store, folded intricately and surrounded by white wrapping paper.

"You got this...for me?" Eclaire asked in a small voice, her eyes still downcast.

"You needed a dress for the wedding anyway." Draco tried shrugging it off, his ears turning a hint of pink. But to his surprise, the brown eyed witch started bawling her eyes out.

"Eclaire? What's wrong? Are you—"

"I got you pens! Pens!" She said in between sobs. "A-and you got me this-this prettier than life itself dress that must've cost a fortune and shoes and I-I don't— I don't deserve it— and I—" She said still crying.

"Midget, listen to me." Draco said cupping her face and wiping her tears with his thumb. "You got me the most thoughtful Christmas gift I have ever received in my life and I couldn't be more grateful for it." He said soothingly as he wiped another tear that fell from her eyes.

"You gave me something that took your time and energy and was compiled with a lot of thought behind it—what I liked, what I didn't, what color I wore, what I drank, everything and no one's ever done that before for me. Heck, I haven't received anything in almost a decade so darling, believe me when I tell you that I am grateful for what you've given me and wouldn't have it any other way." By the time he finished, Eclaire's tears had stopped and she only sniffed occasionally.

"Okay now?" He asked.

She nodded her head as she wrapped her arms around him in a tight hug and whispered. "Thank you."

Draco smiled. He realised he did that a lot when around her—and he didn't know if it was such a bad thing. She made him feel like it was okay to be happy again.

Eclaire pulled away with a red nose and a shy grin. "Can I try them on?" She gestured to the shoes.

"They're yours." Draco found himself saying.

Eclaire clapped her hands gleefully as she put the heels in and tied the strings around her ankle. The shoe fit perfectly. Eclaire stared in awe at how pretty her feet looked.

"Draco look—" She said standing up only to for her feet to get tangled as she fell unceremoniously. She looked at Draco sheepishly from the ground.

Trust this woman to trip over nothing. Draco thought shaking his head as he stood up and offered her his hand which Eclaire gladly took.

He pulled her up and Eclaire tumbled again as he caught her in his arms.

"Thank—" Eclaire said pulling away only to find their faces inches from each other. "—you." She finished breathlessly staring up at his blue orbs. He stared back just as intently and Eclaire felt it hard to breathe as she felt the temperature rise even thought it was snowing outside. Her gaze dropped to his lips that looked plump and inviting. When a whiff of Chocolate and Spice wafted through her nose, she made a decision, one she knew she most definitely would regret but she was a little past the point of caring. Atleast a few good kilometers past.

So with that as her final thought, Eclaire leaned forward and joined their lips together, feeling the silver haired wizard stiffen at the contact. Draco Malfoy's lips felt soft, unbelievably so, and cold—just like him. The almost featherlike touch ended as Eclaire gently pulled away looking at Draco from under her lashes.

"I—"

Eclaire was cut off as the silver haired wizard slipped his hand to cup her face and crashed his lips to hers. Eclaire threw caution right out of the window as she moved her lips in sync with his, her hand coming to rest on his chest as she fisted his sweater in her palm. His lips moved expertly, coaxing, challenging hers to return the passion and fervour of his mouth. Draco Malfoy's kiss was exactly like him—imposing.

One of his hands travelled to her waist as his grip pulled her into him and the other hand moved to rest on her throat in a soft yet firm grip. Is this what heaven feels like? Eclaire thought as she felt Draco's tongue swipe across her lower lip pleading–no–demanding entrance and Eclaire readily provided it. He could ask her to sign away the papers to her house while kissing her and she gladly would have signed it away—That was the effect he had on her, her senses always tended to go overdrive around him.

The silver haired wizard's tongue invaded her mouth as it collided with hers and Eclaire found herself emitting a sound that she didn't know she could produce. His grip on her throat tightened and Eclaire felt its effect straight down to her core. Eclaire was glad for his hold on her waist for she felt the strength to stand up leave her body like she reckoned her soul had left the moment her lips touched his.

Everywhere they came in contact scorched up feeling hotter than it did when she had touched her burnt wand. His lips slowed down their pace as both of them needed air—a shame really—thought Eclaire as they finally pulled apart, both gazing into each other's eyes and panting letting the reality of what they'd done set in. Eclaire broke the silence first.

"Do you want a Cookie?"
