Wonwoo, Seungkwan, Jun, Mingyu and Vernon were all heading to Wonwoo's car when they bumped into Areum.

"Hi guys!" She greeted excitedly. "I haven't seen you all day."

"That was because you chose to sit next to Hajoon instead of sitting next to Wonwoo, like you always do," Seungkwan mumbled under his breath, while Mingyu elbowed him to shut him up.

"Huh?" She raised her eyebrow, looking confused.

"Nothing," Wonwoo quickly answered. "You're joining us, right? We're going to my place."

"I can't, I'm going out with Hajoon." She pouted. "I'll come over later, when I'm done, okay?"

Wonwoo sighed. "Okay, I guess."

She gave Wonwoo a quick side hug before walking away.

"She just ditched Wonwoo for Hajoon!" Seungkwan exclaimed, causing Mingyu to elbow him again. "God, stop!" He turned around, smacking Mingyu.

They all headed to Wonwoo's car. He was unusually quiet. Wonwoo was afraid that if he spoke, he'd actually tear up. This was the first time him and Areum didn't go back home together. They were always together. Every single day. Even during the weekend.

"Honestly, man, she doesn't deserve you," Vernon stated.

"What he means is, she's our best friend and we love her, but you're our best friend too, and you don't deserve to be treated that way." Mingyu glared at Vernon before patting Wonwoo's shoulder.

"Can we stop talking about her?" Wonwoo complained. "It's her life, she can do whatever she wants. I don't really care."

They all gave each other knowing looks, before shutting up.

Meanwhile, Hajoon had just left with Areum by his side. They were in his car, heading to the movie theatre.

"So, what are we going to watch?" She asked.

"You can pick the movie," he answered. "I just wanna be with you."

"Awww!" She couldn't help but blush.

As they arrived, Areum ended up picking a rom-com for them to watch. After buying snacks, which they ended up paying for in half, they walked inside, taking their seats.

Halfway into the movie, Hajoon had placed his hand on Areum's thigh, slowly sliding his hand up.

"What are you doing?" She whispered to him.

"You look beautiful right now," he whispered back, leaning closer to her, pressing his lips to her neck.

"We're watching a movie, stop." She tried pushing him away, but he wouldn't move.

"Stop," she said a little louder this time, and he immediately backed away.

"I'm sorry," he apologized. "I got... carried away."

Areum felt weird, but she still accepted his apology. When the movie was over, they walked out, heading back to Hajoon's car.

"I'm sorry about what happened," he apologized again. "Please don't be mad at me."

"I'm not mad." She let out a sigh. "Just don't do this again, okay? I'm not comfortable doing that yet."

"I'm sorry." He pulled her into a hug, which she returned.

While they were driving back home, Wonwoo and the guys had just woken up from a nap, except for Vernon. They were all on their phones, not saying a word to each other.

Wonwoo sat up, and he was about to say something when he got a notification.

Areum: Is it okay if I come over?

He immediately typed in his reply.

Wonwoo: Of course. You don't need to ask.

A few minutes later, Areum appeared at his doorstep. When Wonwoo opened the door, she immediately fell into his arms. He hugged her back tightly.

"Come in," he said in a low voice, leading her inside.

They sat down together on the couch.

"What's wrong?" He asked her.

"I just came back from my date with Hajoon," she answered. "He... I... I don't know how to say this."

"You can tell me anything, Areum, you know that, right?" He asked, holding her hands.

"I know." She let out a breath, before continuing. "We were at the movies when he placed his hand on my thigh... and he tried... touching me."

Wonwoo's grip tightened on Areum's hand. When he saw the scared look on her face, he immediately let go of her hands.

"Sorry." He coughed. "And? What did you do? Please tell me you walked away."

"I told him to stop, and he apologized," she continued. "I told him I wasn't ready, and he said he won't do that again."

"You're kidding, right?" He laughed. "Areum, what more signs do you need? He's not the right person for you. Why can't you see that?"

"He apologized, Wonwoo."

"That doesn't make him a good person!" He raised his voice. "Why aren't you listening to me? I keep telling you, over and over again, that he's a shitty person!"

"I like him, Wonwoo!" She yelled back. "I've liked him for a whole year now, and he finally asked me out! Why can't you be happy for me? Aren't you my best friend?"

"I am your best friend, which is why I'm telling you he's bad for you!" He stood up, not being able to hold in his anger anymore. "Areum, he's going to hurt you, why can't you trust me?"

"I knew it was a bad idea coming here." She stood up, walking to the door.

"Areum, you can't leave, not like this." Wonwoo grabbed her hand, but she pushed him away.

"No, I'm not gonna talk to you when you're acting this way," she said, before walking out and slamming the door shut behind her.

Soon, the boys appeared in the living room. They sat down around him, giving him sad looks.

"Are you okay?" Jun asked.

"I don't want her to get hurt," Wonwoo said as a tear slipped down his cheek.

"You did everything you could." Mingyu softly rubbed his back. "She won't listen to you, or anyone else. She needs to experience this for her to learn from her mistake."

"But she's avoiding me, for him," Wonwoo continued, trying his best not to cry. "I hate being without her. I've never done this before."

"I guess, now you need to learn how to be without her," Seungkwan advised. "Because you're going to be without her for a long time now."
