Ch. 7: Here we go again

Lisa called me as I walked towards school, "Girl! you won't believe me, there is this new kid at school, he's super cute, and ever since I broke up with Dante I have been pretty down, so this is the best way to get my spirits high again!" 

"Oh, Lisa you and you're boy crazy you know?" I said

"Look how's talking, the girl who fell for two boys at the same time, you need to get your feelings straight Mari," she said

"Ugh, I know! it's just I had never fallen in love before! and now I like two boys and it's just all so new for me!" I said as I kept walking

"So have you seen Mr. Rude after you know," She asked

"Well he did apologize but I don't know if i'll see him again," I responded

"Yeah, well imma go talk to him, I mean, go to class!" She stuttered

"Yeah, yeah dont want to be late for class," I said as I winked

"Bye,"

"Bye," I said as I observed the building that was in front of me, it was very big and one of the oldest schools in all of Paris,

"Hey! Mari!" Aly said as she got closer to me

"Alya, hey!" I said back 

"Ready?" she asked

"If I waited till I was ready I would wait my whole life, so lets go," I said as we entered and got to our class

"Hello, dear Marinette welcome to our school!" Mrs. Bustier said as alya opened the door

"Hi," I said as I looked around the room and paralyzed, no it couldnt be, no, no please, it was... Adrien together right there next to a boy, alya went and hugged him so I assumed he was rather her boyfriend or her brother. He was in my class, both waving hello at me. I sat down with alya, when...

"Alright class since it's Monday you know what it means, seat change!" Mrs. Bustier announced "Ok, Kim with max there, and Chloe with rose," She kept blabbering and I kept praying I was with someone nice "And finally, the last three who sit in the middle, Nathaniel, Adrien, and Marinette,". The classroom was suited for the middle bunk to hold three people while the other were made for two. "So everyone grab your materials and slowly and quietly move to your new sits," I stared at Nathaniel he had blue eyes and red hair that covered his ears, and I couldnt help but look at what he drew during class, many times I thought about telling him to pay attention but it just seemed so magical how he moved his pencil and created wonderful things, on a blank sheet of paper.

"Ok, break time!" Mrs. Bustier said as the bell rang, hallelujah I thought to myself "Marinette may you stay for a little while?" 

"Of course Mrs. Bustier," I answered 

"Here's your schedule for the rest of the year, your homeroom and class numbers and teacher's name, and here is your syllabus for the homeroom, we are starting ch.6, the other teachers will give you their syllabus and indicate you were you must start, now have a nice break!" she said, so I left the room and starting wondering around the school, where I found Luka and Adrien talking near the school walls, I didn't know they knew each other or were even friends, and before I could react I was eavesdropping on them.

"So what do you think of Marinette?" Adrien asked. Gosh, they were talking about me?!

"I think she's a really cool person, she's really funny and has horrible taste for things," He said. I blushed

"Well, I think I underestimated her, she's actually a really kind person, and she's really pretty," Adrien added, I went red

"Yeah, she's truly something you know, and she's beautiful," He added, -Marinette.Exe has stopped working- but right before I could faint to the ground someone grabbed me.

"Hey, hey, are you okay?" He said

"huh?" 

"You fainted," 

"Well, Thanks for not letting me fall,"

"I'm Nathaniel, the guy who sits next to you in class," he said as he extended his hand

"I'm Marinette a pleasure to meet you Nathaniel," I said as I shook his hand

"Hey Nath!" A guy with black hair said as he hugged him

"Hey M-Marc," Nathaniel said as he blushed

"Well I have to go so see you gays- guys later," I said as I quickly left, they both blushed and I internally giggled. I went to go look for alya while eating my macaroons.

"Hey Ma- Ma- Marinette, who would've said we would end up here again," Luka said as he giggled

"Oh, hey Marinette how are you doing in your first day here?" Adrien asked

"Hi gu-guys, I'm doing pretty gr-great I got to go now s-see you later!" I said as I ran away with all my might, and put my headphones on as I kept looking for Alya, (Cue for Crush by Tessa Violet *smug face*)

"GAL! C'mon Let's go were gonna be late!" Alya said as she grabbed my wrist and pulled around the school

"OW, ALYA! Let me go! I can walk!" I said

"Well we don't need to walk we need to run!" She said

"Ok, Let's go, guide me," I said as I took my headphones off and started running with her.

"Here we are, not before we enter, this is Mrs. Mendeleiv, the science teacher and one of the most strict and harsh ones in the whole school. Be careful, do no speak unless spoken to, and whatever you do, do not dare to look at her in the eyes, she can't stand that" She said as she opened the door

"Welcome Students as you may know the bell rang 2 minutes ago, so get yourself to the directors office for the rest of the block, and you better not be late for that one," she said as she got up and slammed the door in front of us

"Told you so," Alya told me

"I can't go to detention on my first day alya! what are my parents gonna think?!" I panicked

"Don't worry well just do our work over there, i'll give you my syllabus until she gives you yours," She said " We just have to go over to Mr. Damocles office and sign in for detention and he lets us go to the yard, as long as we do our schoolwork," 

"Ok then, let's go to Mr. Damocles," I said, The rest of the day was... okay, I had some other classes and after that went straight home to avoid any problems and by that I mean Luka and Adrien.

"How was your day Marinette?" Mom asked, Oh darn it they know about the detention.

"Well, there's no point in hiding what you guys already know, so i'm just gonna come clear," I sighed "I got into detention today, but before you guys come with le chancla at me, it was because I was late for class but it was my first day and I didn't know where my classes were-," 

"What? Detention when did that happen?" Dad said worried

"What? Detention? Nonono!" I said as I quickly went up the stair into our apartment and into my room.  as I fell into my bed I called Lisa

"GIRL! help me please!" I said

"SoOoOoO, is it Mr. Sarcastic, or Mr. Model?" She said as I rolled my eyes

"BOTH! Ugh, why did I have to take that stupid winter job, nothing would have happened and I would have been perfectly fine," 

"I guess you would still have fallen for both anyway," She said

"But I dont like Luka, at least I dont think I do," I said

"Well, you have time to figure it out Mari because lucky for you, you moved just a couple of months from the homecoming dance so, if they do have feelings for you they'll ask you to the dance, and hopefully you'll have your feelings more sorted out, and well yeah," She said

"yeah, I hope so," I said. We kept talking for hours, not really conscient of the time, and before we knew it it was night time. {A/N; ok I didnt think this through, they live in different places on the other half of the world, but somehow they have the same hours, so just deal with it,}

"Well good night gal, talk to you tomorrow," She said

"Good night Lisa say hi to Kally for me alright?" I said as I ended the call. I couldnt believe the day I had, and to be honest I was starting to get sick of it, I needed to get a hang of my feelings. So I put my headphones on and hopefully figure this whole thing out, even it if were just in the slightest, and as I choose a song I saw a black box, with some  red drawings on it, and thought it was a surprise present from my parents, since my birthday is in a couple of days, so I didn'y pay much attention to it.
