Ch. 3: And the winner is

Ever since the day I met Luka I felt like I was enjoying again, he would usually come into my office and annoy me with my 'poor' choice of decorations, until one day...

"Hello, could you tell me where Christopher and Josefine," a voice said

"Christopher and Josefine? Luka stop kidding around!" I said as I kept doodling

"Excuse me? I'm Adrien Agreste," the voice said again. my face turned as red as a tomato. I had mistaken the voice of Adrien Agreste the most famous model in the business, with the voice of Luka Couffaine a guy I met a couple days ago!

"I'm so sorry! I confused your voice with another's!" I said as I turned around to face him still flustered.

"Don't worry it usually happens they say my voice and Bryce Papenbrook's are very similar!" he said " by the way I really like the way you decorated your office space,"

"Th-thanks!" I said as I blushed 

"Well I must go and find them, so good bye," he said as he left and closed the door of my office

"OMG gurl you're as red as a tomato," Lisa said "Don't get me wrong I'm your bestie but it looks like unicorns had a party last night and got drunk,"

"jajaja funny," I said in a sarcastic

"I just saw Adrien Agreste walk out of here, girl tell me EVERYTHING!" she said as she grabbed a chair and sat down in front of me.

as I explained the whole misunderstanding Lisa ordered some decorations online and we spent the whole afternoon redecorating the room and talking about boys, about her boyfriend Dante and about my 'boy problem' even thought I assured her it was nothing.

"Why dont you want to enter the contest?" I asked

"It's just Adrian Agreste is just not the person I would like to meet, that's all," she said "and, done!"

"Woah, it looks amazing! we really out did ourselves!" I said

"Yeah and if you dont win, we can go for dinner," she said

"And if do win were still going to dinner right?" I asked

"Of course, since your leaving the next morning," she said with a sigh

"dont worry Lisa, I will text you good morning every morning call you so we can walk to school together, call you after school, and text you good night every night!" I said

"promise?"  

"Pinky Promise," I said as we hugged

"Anyway I have a date today so I have to leave early, but I adored our girls afternoon today its been so long since we had a decent one, see you tomorrow good luck!" she said as she left 

"Finally a moment of pea-,"

"damn bluenette, this place looks unrecognizable! ah and by the way where are you moving to?" he said

"Wha- ho- wh-," I stuttered 

"And I'm sure you'll win especially since that cutie Lisa helped you, "

"Excuse me!? Lisa has a boyfriend for your information!" 

"Just kidding, Lisa is so not my type, anyway you didn't tell me where your moving to," he said 

"To Paris," I sighed

"Well then, see you soon Ma-Ma-Marinette," he said as he closed the door behind him. I was so embarrassed, Ma-Ma-Marinette?! was I serious! after I facepalmed myself really hard I grabbed my stuff locked the building and went to my second most favorite bakery, Starbucks Coffee! and ordered a mochaccino and a croissant, and ate them on the way home. when I got there I was so exhausted that I took a warm bath and put on my lucky ladybug onesie {A/N -her onesie has nothing to do with the actual superhero ladybug since she still isn't ladybug, she just has a lucky ladybug onesie}. That night Chris and Jo had to make the final decision and chose the winner, so they could announce it the very next morning. I wasn't sure if I was going to win or not but what I know is that I have people who have my back 24/7.

~The very next morning~

"Oh sweetie aren't you excited?" my mom asked

"Depends," I answered

"Aren't you exited were going to Paris?" she asked as she sealed a box

"Yeah I guess, well I must go to work, see you guys later,"

"Marinette, you would mind to buy pizza for dinner on your way back home?" 

"I was actually going to go on a farewell dinner with Lisa, but I can call to deliver the pizza here," I said

"well then if you're not here for dinner your father and I might as well make the most out of it and have a fancy dinner, dont you think honey," Mom said

"of course Sabine," Dad replied

"well bye!," I said as I closed the bakery's door, and headed to the agency.

"Oh Tom dont they grow up so fast?" mom said

"Next thing you know she's getting married!" he said as he stacked some boxes

~at the agency~ 

"We are gathered right now to announce the winner of the annual winter contest!" Jo said

"Please come up into the stage our participants, Julia Lopez,  Marinette Dupain-Cheng, Mylene Sanchez, and Robert Williams," Chris said

"We spent a lot of time deciding the winner because we had some amazing offices, but we came to a conclusion, and the winner is... MYLENE SANCHEZ! for doing all of the decorations herself!" Jo said as she handed a ribbon to Mylene

 "Hey, it's alright we did great!" Lisa said

"Hey Marinette may I talk to you?" Adrien said

"Go girl!" Lisa said as she pushed to his direction

"Um, even thought you didn't win I was hoping we could go for lunch today?" he asked me

"Of course, I would love to!" I answered 

"Great! see you at the coffeehouse in 30 minutes," he asked

"See you there," I answered before i left

"Lisa, I just got a date with Adrien Agreste!" I squealed

"NO WAY! what did he say?"

"He asked me for lunch at the coffeehouse!" 

"Well it looks more like lunch than a date, but alright," she said "See you at the usual place?" 

"7:30 sharp," I said, as I said to myself
