fighting
The sun was shining brightly in the morning while Kiri was laying face down in the shallow water observing a little sea animal who was digging a hole in the sand. She was waiting for the small creature to come out of the sand for a few seconds to take a glance at it. She was in her own world that she didn't even noticed the Na'vi approaching her.
They were observing her for a few minutes in confusion as she didn't move a single time. "What is she doing?"
"She's just staring at the sand." One of them stated laughing as they captured her in a circle. Because of the shadow from the others Kiri noticed she isn't alone anymore and stood up while her eyes needed to adjust because of the bright sunlight.
"Huh?" she let out because she only heard them muffled because of the water. "What did you say?"
Leyra sat on her terrace off her Marui and observed the encounter precisely. She knew the group of friends that Aonung was around has a bad reputation and she wondered what they are up to with Kiri. Rotxo, who was sitting behind Leyra, noticed the group too and stopped braiding her hair as he was looking towards them. He didn't liked the other friends of his best friend Aonung because they always picked on him of being smaller than them and he was thankful for Leyra because she always defended him. They didn't sat much away from them so they could understand their conversation.
Aonung stood in front of the group and he looked down at Kiri. "Are you some kind of freak?"
Kiri's ears flatten at the insult but she didn't show any emotion and stared right into his eyes.
"He asked if you were a freak." The little moron on his left repeated more harshly and went closer to her while looking at her dangerously.
"No." Kiri muttered slowly and gave them an annoyed look. She went trough the gap of the group to get away from this group full of morons but they weren't finished mocking her and followed her.
"Are you sure?" Aonung pressed her for answering and looked at her with an amused expression on his face. "You're not even real Na'vi." he said grabbing her hand and showing the group her five fingers. "Look at these hands, I mean look at them." He laughed while looking around the group who all wore smirks on their faces. Kiri hissed and pulled her hand from his grasp.
Leyra made attempts to stand up. "I'll come with you." Rotxo quickly said to her but she shook her head in response. "I don't want you to get in trouble, Rotxo."
"Hey!" She shouted to the group as she made her way over to them. "Leave her alone!" She stopped by them and stood in front of Kiri protectively while glaring at the boys before her.
"Oh look, another half-breed." They boy with the fluffy hair from before said as he looked at her provoking.
"Shut your mouth." She said dangerously slow while coming closer to the boy.
"You don't deserve your place in our clan." He spitted while looking at her evil. That was the last straw for her and a smirk snuck on to her face. She wasn't afraid to let the fight become physical. Aonung noticed her smirk and stepped a little away from the boy. He knew what Leyra was about to do and he knew he just should let her take the anger out.
The boy stumbled back from the force of Leyra's slap on his cheek as she glared at him. "You deserve so much more punches but you are not worth my time, you bitch." She spitted but the other boys were coming for her.
"Hey!" A deep and angry voice came from the side as Lo'ak angrily made his way to his sister and Leyra. "Back of fish lips!" He shouted to Aonung and the called out one was taken aback from the insult he got.
"Ooh, another five fingered freak." Aonung teased Lo'ak while looking at him in false pitifulness. Lo'ak only gave him an annoyed look and turned around to leave but a boy from the group grabbed his tail. "Look at this baby tail."
"Don't touch me!" he shouted while turning around and pushing the boy away. The whole group broke out in laughter and this made Lo'ak only more furious as he pushed the others away from himself too.
Leyra and Kiri were standing a little away from the group as they don't want be pulled into the fight further but Leyra was proud that her slap left a mark on the boy's face.
"Leave us alone!" Kiri yelled to the boys because she didn't want it to turn out into a physical fight where Lo'ak would lose because he is outnumbered and she had enough of this bullying. Rotxo was now standing beside Leyra and she hold on to him protectively, ready to throw punches if any of the boys came near him.
At the same time Neteyam was stomping to the group of boys harassing his younger brother with a very enraged face. Rotxo had called him before he came to stand beside Leyra. Neteyam walked to Lo'ak and pushed him behind himself. "You heard them. Leave them alone." He said, his accent coming trough because of his anger. "Back off. Now." He said warningly while shoving a single finger against Aonung's chest.
"Uuh, big brother coming-" A boy beside Aonung started to say but was silenced by Aonung who held his arm against him. Aonung just looked at Neteyam without emotion and then glanced behind him to Leyra. He lifted his hands in surrender and smirked.
"Good choice. And from now on I need you to respect my sister." He said threateningly as he looked at everyone from the group. The same boy hissed at Neteyam but Aonung shoved him back slightly.
Kiri stuck out her tongue provokingly at the boys and Leyra showed them her middle fingers with an smugged expression on her face. Rotxo looked disappointed to his best friend.
"Let's go." Neteyam said while grabbing Lo'ak and turned around to go with the others. He locked eyes with Leyra and she gave him a thankful smile. His gaze lowered to the interlocked hands from Leyra and Rotxo and he was confused for a second. He always thought Rotxo was from the other shore but maybe he was wrong.
Leyra grabbed Neteyam's hand and pulled him towards her. "Whatever you think, you're wrong about me and him." She whispers to him as she signaled to Rotxo beside her. His nerves relaxed now that he knew that Leyra is with no-one. "He would rather want you, Teyam." She looked at him and narrowed her eyes at the thought of Neteyam and Rotxo together.
"Stop talking about my sexuality, thank you. And he is not even close to my type." Rotxo whisper yelled to them both while glaring at them. Leyra apologizes quickly. "Now that has hurt my feelings, Rotxo." Neteyam said jokingly.
Lo'ak, who was walking behind them catched a glimpse of the starting conversation from the boys behind him.
"Look at them, they are all freaks, the whole family." Aonung said to his friends and they all started laughing. Lo'ak got angry very fast again and turned around.
"Lo'ak!" Neteyam hissed for him to come back.
"I got this bro." He answered reassuring and walked back to the group.
"I know this hand is funny. Look, I'm a freak. Alien." He said and held his hand up for everyone to see. The group looked at him amused as if it really was a freak-show.
"But I can do something cool. Watch, first I tie it really tight." Aonung was focused on his hand as Lo'ak curled it up to a fist. Leyra almost started to laugh because Aonung was walking right into his trap.
"And then..." Lo'ak punched Aonung three times in a row and Aonung fell to the ground.
"It's called a punch, bitch. Don't ever touch my sister again." He shouted and looked down at Aonung who was bleeding from his nose. Aonung aimed for Lo'ak and tackled him to the ground, ready to punch him in the face but Lo'ak shoves him off in time. Another boy dragged Lo'ak by his tail on the ground and got a slap from the tail off another.
Leyra frowned and looked at Neteyam with a pleading look to help him. He looked at her while scratching his neck. Technically he didn't wanted this fight to get so out of hand, but he couldn't let his brother down. He sighed while he squeezed her hand slightly and made his way to the fight. He grabbed the nearest boy and punched him in the face and another into the stomach.
Now the boys were tackling on the ground, throwing punches and getting punched. Hard. Leyra was concerned and she was sure all of them would have a bad bruised face.
"Aren't you gonna help them?" Leyra asked Rotxo who was standing beside her. He was concerned for Aonung because the forest boys were really good fighters but he deserved it.
"Hell no. They would crush me in a heartbeat." He mumbled and Leyra knew that he was right. Rotxo wasn't a fighter after all.
"Stop!" Kiri yelled. She knew her brothers would get grounded because of this. "This is so stupid!"
Neteyam was on top of an oceanic boy and beat the shit out of his face, aggressively without stopping. Something turned in Leyra's stomach seeing him so rough. The three other were wrestling with Lo'ak.
"Ow my tail!" Lo'ak exclaimed when Aonung dragged him back by his tail. In response he grabbed the ear from the boy in front of him on the ground roughly."My ear! Let it go! He got my ear!"
Kiri, Leyra and Rotxo shared a look and burst out laughing immediately. They aren't even trying to hide it while they hold their stomach as they watched the males fight for dominance. But as they laughed louder they caught the attention of Lo'ak and Neteyam and they got distracted, earning a punch of the others. They truly thought they were laughing at them because they were about to loose.
Soon enough Jake and Tonowari were running to the fighting teens and the three on the side put their hands up in surrender, signaling them they have nothing to do with this.
