Chapter 20: Ruffling Feathers

So it's been LONG before I got to publish this chapter, and I'm happy to say I'm alive!! Despite school work and all. So this is it for the 20th chapter, I hope you enjoy.)

Akali's POV

"You have millions of yen yet you never buy your host a house?"

"Oh shut your mouth. Where do you think a normal genin can get that much money? They'll get suspicious. "

I sweatdropped. Luck and the shark are at it again. Sometimes I wonder how I even stay sane with all this pressure around me.

"Sorry Akali. I can't exactly do anything about them."

Junko apologized and sighed heavily. We're still waiting for Shun to arrive and he's sure taking his sweet time.

"I'm here. Sorry I'm late."

Speak of the devil. He scratched the back of his neck and sat down beside us, now forming a triangle, each God behind their chosen players.

I took a deep breath and stared at the two with utmost seriousness.

"To start this meeting, I'll be asking for Shun and his God to make alliance with me and Junko. All to prevent sudden acts of hostility and traitorship. To solidify my statement,"

I trailed and activated the Scales of justice, the said skill flaring red behind me.

"-Any act that suggests of traitorship will gain you the sign of guilt, therefore making it possible for me to eliminate you. So, do you agree?"

Junko sweatdropped, Shun chuckled nervously and the gods looked at me incredulously.

"Is this necessary?"

Pollux whined, poking me on the shoulder every now and then.

"Yes now shut up."

Pollux visibly deflated and sulked on the corner. Luck had a surprised look on her face as she applauded.

"I accept. Not that I have other plans."

I pressed yes, and of course Shun doing the same.

I will ABSOLUTELY NOT give him the takoyaki, so we're down to the three above. Although I don't think a sword suits him because he's a ranged marksman. Too bad huh.

And what could he possibly do with spider silk? Unless he knows how to weave like a spider, then only he can use that item.

All that is left is the agate. What does that do anyway?

I pressed yes that made the tab dissappear in pixels, something suddenly shining red above me. That must be it.

I raised my left hand in a cupping manner, catching the falling heart in my palm. When I brought it to the level of my face, I saw it's intricate details. Gold swirls are acting as a case for the crimson crystalline heart that looks a single breath can crack it.

This seems to catch everybody's attention as I pushed the floating heart towards Shun which he received without a hitch.

"It looks so pretty!! What is it??"

"Think of it as a.....material for leveling up talent. The Crimson Heart Agate is perfect for a newcomer to accumulate skills and it's a heart. Hearts are cute."

Luck said and nodded in approval.

"You better give my host a useful gift or I'll make your bones a chewing toy."

Pollux growled that made Shun laugh in nervousness. I rolled my eyes.

"Don't worry, I'll make sure you like this."

Shun said and looked at me straight in the eyes. Am I supposed to be assured?

He then pressed yes and a golden light shone above him. He did the same as me and reached for the gift, giving it to me.

My curiosity sparked as I held the illuminated gift with my two hands, the light dying down and revealing what it really is.

"Wow that's even prettier!! A galaxy rose!!!"

A crystal rose that reflects the color of the galaxy. It looks absolutely stunning even if it's just used a room decor.

"What does this do??"

[Keeps sanity from lowering than 80%]

I nodded, storing the rose inside my inventory carefully and nodding towards Shun. Hey, at least now I won't worry about mental health.

"Hm.....I got a new skill. Look."

He said and something appeared on my screen too. I scrunched my eyebrows in confusion. What's this?

Junko is now scrolling trough the skill description with sparkles in her eyes.

Just before anyone of us can move, another tab appeared again.

"A party is like a guild or a clan right?"

I asked.

"I see."

Although I doubt there are that many players here. I would've found atleast 5 by now if our numbers are more than a hundred.

"What about rainbow unicorns?"

"No. Lightbringer is cooler."

"But that only applies to you since you have a sun God!"

"Oh yeah.....hmmm"

"What do you think Akali?"

Shun asked and turned to me, oddly having his spirits up.

"It should be something quick to remember and short.....hm. what about KI?"

"Why KI? Killing intent??"

"Ooooh I know I know! Cuz all of us has KI on our last names! Look, MasayuKI, HoshigaKI then AyaKashI!"

"Could also mean first king in roman numerals."

Shun's God, Apollo said. I nodded and typed KI on the blanks.

"Wow. Even your systems thinks you're a playboy!"

Junko said as she scratched her head and snatch the stat bar from my gaze, scrolling and tapping it multiple times.

"Justice......and you're this smart? You're definitely miella."

Shun quietly muttered as he stared at my stats with a smile. What's with him?

"Maybe the guy of your dreams? BHAHAHAHHAHA GET IT? THE GUY IN YOU'RE DREAMS?? BAHABAHAHHAHZHDBSHHZHH"

I rolled my eyes and ignored Pollux's teasing.

"You lied to me system. You said he wouldn't be reincarnated. You said I can be saved from facing this cursed situation."

I thought with a cloud of depression hovering above my head.

[I said probably. And stop being a pussy. Go tell him you remember him and give us the drama we all deserve.]

"All you'll get in this situation is awkwardness."

I said and sighed heavily, looking at Shun with an apologetic gaze. If this guy still really loves me, then I pity him. I'm not monster, I know he'll be hurt if I told him I don't feeling anything romantic. My current objective is to survive, love can come never.

Shun then returned our stat bars to us, and looked at me as if he wanted to say something. I nodded.

"Akali......do you remember a guy named Nathan?"

"Yeah. You're him aren't you?"

I said that made him and his God look at each other, discomfort clear on their faces.

"That's the thing miela. I remember everything. Every time we were together. It was connected to my challenge so it was the first thing I ever knew since I was reincarnated. But......"

"Go on Shun. You have to be honest with her."

"I brought popcorn from the system food store. Want some Miss L?"

"Good timing darling. The tea is brimming hot."

I resisted the urge to chuckle as I listened to Shun.

"I may have remembered every moment we shared together, I may have dreams of you every time I sleep, but I can't seem to....."

"Go on."

"I don't........feel.. anything about you. Sorry.......?"

I stared at him, mouth agape and jaw clenching before I burst into my first laughing fit in my entire reincarnated life. Pollux was rolling around in the floor too, laughing his a** out at the situation.

"BHAHAHAHAHAH HAHAHHAHSHDHHWHDIISHAHAUISUSHBHZJDJHH!!!!! *wheeze* A-AND HERE I THOUGHT- I THOUGHT WE WERE THE ONES WHO'LL SAY THAT- GYAHAHAHHAAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHA"

The two are now looking at us weirdly, the other two disappointed they didn't get their drama and us just laughing it out until our stomachs are aching.

"Pfft- okay okay.....okay! Calm now."

I said in between chuckles.

"Sorry sorrry, I was just worried that I might hurt your feelings if I told you that I'm not into love, but I never expected for you to actually have the guts to say it first!! Good job Nathan. Now we can avoid being awkward to each other."

I chuckled that made him look embarrassed.

"For a second there I thought you were gonna be mad.....well, can I still call you miela? For old times sake."

He said with a smile and slung his arm on my shoulder, and since we clarified things, it wasn't as awkward anymore.

"Sure......mielli."

"Aww look at them. Even though we didn't get the love ending, we got a more wholesome friendship ending. I'm so proud."

"Mhm!!!"

Junko enthusiastically said which made Lady Luck pinch the red head's cheek.

"Now back to the real point of this meeting."

I said seriously and sat properly, the other two doing the same.

"Our current objective is to survive the Suna Invasion. As a Sunagakure nin, Shun will of course be my 'enemy'. I'll try to cover up for you as much as possible so don't do anything brash, got it?"

"Aye aye!"

"And Junko.....that's the big mystery. Why is your team here? The only kumo nin that appears in the Invasion is the one that spectates. Unless......."

"Yeah. We have to capture Hinata."

I winced. That's a big plot change. If Junko fail this, she will look bad on their Kage. If she succeeds, the plot will be destroyed. Ah what will I do.......

"What if.......I beat your team into a pulp?"

I said that surprised Junko.

"That way they will be weakened enough to fight Neji and his team, and so you can still defend them saying that you were overwhelmed by our forces?"

I know I'm not exactly the type to solve situations with violence, but that's the only way that comes to mind. I can't talk them into this one.

Junko looks hesitant. Agh. I don't want to manipulate her into this.

"I get it, but please don't hurt them too bad. I don't want to kidnap Hinata but I also want my team out of this."

I nodded.

"Also, could you do me a favor?"

"Sure. Anything."

I smiled and showed Junko the prodigy quest tab.

"I need you to say that I beat all of the Kumo nin by myself so that the word will spread big enough that it'll reach Udon no Kuni."

Junko nodded without looking, swiping the tab back to me.

"I'll even exaggerate. I'll ask the full plan later. For now, I have to go back and train. Ciao~"

Junko said with a smile and blew us a kiss, jumping out of my window and disappearing instantly. I guess she was a little sensitive of that topic.

"I'm gonna head out too. I can't have my girls waiting for me."

"Playboy."

"Why? You jealous?"

"You wish. Now go."

"Yeah yeah. Don't over think. Drink milk and don't forget to sleep."

"Now I see why girls fall for you. You couldn't even utter a single flirt back then! Look at how you've grown."

"Oh shut up miss smarty pants. I'm off!"

He said and finally disappeared from my sight. Now that I think about it, I suddenly crave takoyaki with milk.

"Let's go. I'm dying to try that takoyaki of yours."

"But I thought you only eat humans?"

"Correction, I eat their fear. And maybe some parts. But the thing is my human body needs food and I'm hungry."

"Wouldn't they be suspicious?"

"Just pretend I'm a visitor from another nation. Now let's go. I'm starving."

"Now that I think about it, your group should've been named bitch club."

"And why is that?"

"You're a natural flirt, the pretty red head is naturally charming and your ex fiancé is a natural bitch boy. Oh oh! Strippers!! Maybe that's the one!"

I rolled my eyes and bit on a takoyaki, dipping the other half on the extra sauces that Yuzuri gave me. Ah, it feels like eternity when I last went to this place. (5 days ago)

It still radiates calmness and well, deliciousness!! The smell still enough to make the dead want to live again. Hm.....if I show this to Rin, will she come back?

Nah nah, that's outrageous. I gotta focus.

I finished my fourth box and tried to shoot it on the trash can. It fell perfectly in since if it didn't, it means I have bad accuracy. And that's a really bad thing for a trained ninja.

"It's been a while since I went to ID create. I wonder if I can still one shot monsters there?"

I subconsciously asked Pollux as I went to the counter and paid Yuzo quite the hefty amount. Once I've finished convincing him to accept the money, I walked towards a convenience store with Pollux following behind me.

"Stop that thought about going to ID create. You only have 2 ninjutsus up your sleeve and you're restricted on leveling up SNC. Do you think it's smart to fight with just those and your voice? I don't think so."

He said and threw his empty box of takoyaki on the trash can outside the convenience store. I entered first and immediately went to the fridges on the back to buy 3 cartons of milk, some instant ramen and chocolates.

"Were gonna go to the market and buy some vegetables."

"Eugh. Don't you ever say that v word again."

"Oh right sharks are carnivores....."

"Yes and why are you eating grass?! You're part shark! Ugh, you have a lot to learn about sharks. Come on. Do your grocery later and train with me."

He said before dragging my arm and running so fast until we reach a relatively large training ground. That was like 1 minute how did he- you know what? Nevermind.

"Sit down. Now, I have to tell you what exactly we can do and what we have to avoid."

He said as I sat criss-cross apple sauce on the grass.

"Now the first thing you should know is that we sharks can live for hundreds of years!! And since you're no ordinary shark, you might even live thousands!"

"We are one of the most terrifying creatures EVER, so use that as an advantage to any fight. Sharks also has a built in toothpaste maker so you don't even need to brush your teeth!"

He said and flaunted his sparkling white razor sharp teeth. Now that made me curious.

"Our skin is tough as heck because it's also made of teeth, but since you're not a whole shark, that maybe a lot less stronger, but still the same feature. It is also correct that you like music, since sharks also like music. Who doesn't? It's just that what makes us different is that we are METAL. We live to bang our heads to strong solid electric guitar solos."

"Not only are we amazing because of strong bones, teeth and incredible muscle power, we are also smart. That's different for you of course. You're madly smart. And lastly, our only weakness."

He stopped talking and looked at me seriously in the eyes. I swallowed the lump in my throat and leaned closer to subside the suspense.

"Never ever, and I mean NEVER let anyone touch your nose."

I slumped forward. What?

"Don't give me that look. Here, I'm gonna show you exactly why."

He said and suddenly pinched and massaged my nose, running his cold fingers on it's bridge and booping tge middle.

An involuntary giggle escaped my mouth.

Wait what?

"See what I did there? That's every shark's weak point. Try it."

I was surprised when he suddenly transformed into his megalodon form. He then poked me with his nose to indicate that I should try.

"Here comes nothing......."

I said and carefully reached out my arm towards his nose. When I finally landed my palm on it's surface, I felt the shivers that racked his body. So I did what my brain shouted me to do and rubbed his nose. He groaned and shook his tail, poking my arm multiple times as if to say he wants more. I chuckled.

"That's enough petting for today. You can revert back now."

I teasingly said, seeing a flushed Pollux as he reverted back to his human form.

"So even apex predators has their own weakness huh. I'll watch out for that."

I said and chuckled.

"Now that you had a proper heads up, it's time to give you two new water jutsus that will help you greatly against whoever you're opponent will be."

"Now the mechanics are simple. Do the ram hand sign and channel your chakra to the middle of your palm. But don't spread it!"

He said and immediately held both of my hands near each other, the blue chakra rising from the middle of my palm as thin as a thread.

"That's right. Now slowly spread it out, imagine it as big as a tube."

He said and I nodded, trying to expand the chakra on both of my hands. When I probably poured too much, it ended up poofing and flattening. It didn't do anything when I put too little.

"Damn. I feel frustrated just watching you."

Pollux said and sighed, dispersing the chakra on my hands. Instead, he drew circles on my hand.

"Imagine that small thread of chakra like a tornado, but without the heavy spinning. Just slowly imagine it spiraling up."

I nodded and did just what he said, focusing solely on my palms as both produced the thread like chakra strings that slowly expand. My face brightened.

"Perfect. Now gradually increase your speed."

He now let go of my hand as my chakra formed quickly on my palms, instead of besides each other, my palms are now facing one another as opposites, the chakra that connected my palm to the forming spherical chakra between them.

"How's your chakra doing?"

"Alright. I've only used one fourths of it."

"Hm.....that's surprisingly well of you considering how you're still young. The next step is........ah, try to remember a memory with the most intense emotion you feel."

"Even my past memories?? Well not that I remember much."

"Yeah. Try to remember."

I nodded. One with the most intense emotion.........

I closed my eyes shut and tried to rack my brain to find any memory that brings back gruesome memories. As far as I remember?? None.

"ꪑꪗ 乃a̾🅱︎y̆̈.......𝔯𝘜ꈤ!!"

"Woah! Stay focused."

Pollux said and held my wrists. My consciousness is slipping away......what is that??

I feel......I need to know what that is.

I calmed myself first and tried to tap onto that memory again. I feel like it's dangerous........the feeling of danger is heavy on my mental fortitude, every caution alarm blaring on my head to stop, but I need to know. I have to.

Third Person's POV

Pollux never looked so worried in his life.

Akali is sweating like she's swimming in sweat so he raised her headband to her forehead, her hands are shaking from holding the ball of chakra that she still holds and maintaining it's shape, and she looks like she's in a lot of pain just by remembering a memory that brings the most emotions out of her. Maybe it wasn't the best idea there is, but it's one of the most efficient ways of becoming stronger. And because he also thinks that Akali would still want this.

"M-mama......mama run p-please....D-don't hold him for me...NO!!!"

Pollux turned serious, acting on his reflexes and instantly taking hold of Akali's collar, teleporting somewhere far away where he didn't feel anything alive just as she opened her eyes.

Never before did Pollux feel such complex feelings. Astonishment, surprise, and extreme curiosity brimmed his consciousness as he stared at the white haired girl's eyes. The usual crystallized skies trapped inside her eye sockets are glowing faintly, baby blue light highlighting her eyes even more as she released the ball of chakra from her hands and onto the empty sand, instantly causing a huge explosion that's as big as a subdivision.

"Heh would you look at that!!"

Pride is clear on Pollux's face as he slung his arm around Akali's shoulder.

"W-what........*pant* *pant* what happened?"

The white haired girl asked, clearly out of breath as she watched the sand fell from the sky because of the explosion she just caused.

"You, my dear girl, just launched your very own bijudama."

Akali's eyes widened, looking at Pollux with shock.

"Pardon? Am I hearing things or did I just hear you say I launched a bijudama?"

"Yes, yes you did. Although it's very weak. So weak that it can barely blow up a mansion. But even so, just launching it like that without dying is already an impressive feat. You may be the first human in this world to launch a bijudama like that."

He said with a smirk then rubbed his knuckles on Akali's head, the said girl blushing a little.

"Hm.....what memory did you remember anyway? It must be pretty extreme to-"

"Stop. Shut up. I don't want to talk about it."

She didn't even bother to hide the emotions on her face as she started walking back to Konoha, even though she has completely no idea of where they are.

"You do know I can read your mind."

"Try me then."

He must've hallucinated it, but her eyes looked like they're glowing again. But they looked none like before. The crystalline skies were tainted by what seems to be fear and anger, emotions that clearly portrayed pure trauma and regret.

She then patted her eyes, and when she found that her hitai-ate was raised, she quickly covered her eyes back with it and walked faster.

"Tch. She acts high and mighty. Is she forgetting that I am a God?"

Pollux sighed and held her collar once more, teleporting both of them back to the small training ground they were.

"Then that memory must've been the reason why she became a killer back then. I must admit that I'm curious, but if I break her before I even finish my task is bad. And I have to pretend to be afraid of her too. Ugh. What a hassel."

He thought as he floated behind Akali who walked quietly the whole time.

"I know I shouldn't feel this way, but I'm tired."

She started as her apartment slowly cane into view.

"Those memories..........I don't remember how I got them back or why, but it's certain that I saw myself......amidst a burning house."

She reached for the keys inside her pocket and unlocked the door, putting her groceries aside and sitting and falling back first to the floor, looking at the ceiling with uncertainty.

"Why are you telling me this? This is clearly a sensitive matter from you past."

"Hah, I couldn't care less. I don't need for you to earn my trust just so that you can know another sob story that you'll probably forget anyway."

Pollux smiled. Even if she clearly said no, he still took it as a sign that she trusts him.

"Ah. I've gone soft....."

"When I recalled that memory.....I felt such primal urge to rip every single living thing I see to pieces. Even though all I saw was fire......I— I can't explain it.  I just felt extremely sad and wronged that I lost control. I don't usually do that."

"I see. So still nothing from your past huh?"

"Yeah. I want to remember more. I really do, but......."

The white haired girl sighed and sat up, hugging her knees to her chin and burying her face in it.

"I'm scared. What if I go to what I was before? I don't.......I don't want to become my past self all over again."

The dark color of her hitai-ate got even darker under her eyes. It was soaked. She tried so hard to contain her emotions up until to this point, heck, she even looked like a cold blooded, emotionless killer to Pollux. But she was still human after all. She still felt extreme emotion like everybody else.

"I shouldn't be attached, but at this point? I can't go back. *sigh* what do I do with this girl?"

Pollux slowly lowered himself down and sat beside her, quietly listening to her choked sobs that slowly tore his heart to pieces.

"Look kid, you're human. You can't ignore what you feel all the time and it's only natural to cry. If I told you that I don't feel, I'd be a liar. Everyone acts out of their emotions, and it's time for you to act out to yours."

He said with a sigh, making the white haired girl raise her head to remove her hitai-ate, only to see her beautiful blue eyes stained with tears. Pollux stared right back with an urging look that made Akali clench her teeth, gripping Pollux's shirt and crying her heart out for the first time in the entire time she lived.

"Rise and shine my pup! There's no time to be slacking. We still have to train you to your absolute best!"

The white haired girl groaned and stretched, in a good mood too since she woke up refreshed. Groggily, she sat in front of a table full of different foods, ranging from meat, fish and there's even a salad present, along with a shark god dressed in only his pants and a baby blue colored apron with little shark designs.

"Stand up and wash your face first. Your eyes are still puffy from all that crying last night."

Pollux said and ushered Akali to the bathroom, the said girl coming out soon enough because of her hunger.

"What's with this? I never thought you'd know how to cook."

"Just because I often eat raw, doesn't mean the taste doesn't bore me. I had to learn water culinary lessons from poseidon too so better be grateful."

Akali scoffed and took a bite in each dish, mixing it with rice so her breakfast is really heavy. After all, she doesn't want to become hungry in the middle of training.

"You won't eat?"

"Nah. I've had your sensei's fear for breakfast."

Pollux showed an evil grin that made Akali shake her head in amusement.

"You burnt his photos of Miria?"

"Nope. I acted like a nightmare and threatened him that Miria was lesbian. HWHAHAHHAHA you should've seen the look on his face!!"

"Too bad huh?"

She said and drank after wolfing down all of Pollux's cooking.

"Let's go. Teach me that other jutsu do we could finally spar."

"Certainly."

Pollux said with a smirk and placed a hand on her back, instantly teleporting them to a clearing inside a pretty dense forest.

"I learned restoration thanks to my brother, so I could erase any tracks of battle here. Feel free to go all out."

"First things first, use a transformation. I don't want being asked unnecessary questions."

The white haired girl ordered that made the shark god roll his eyes. With a flick of his finger, he's instantly a version of Sasuke.

"Better?"

"No. That would raise suspicion. Transform as me. They'll think you're just a clone and you can vanish any time too. How haven't you thought of that?"

"Not everyone is as smart as you smart ass."

Akali rolled her eyes and unleashed her chakra, it's aura flaring as if a demon was engulfing her.

A chuckle escaped Pollux as his fingers touched the invisible aura.

"You added my chakra here? It's beautiful. Just like the calm surface of a deep endless sea."

The system implemented the change that made her chakra 100 000 to 500 000 without even batting an eyelid. Half a million? That's S rank level chakra right there.

It was true that her chakra became a lot more soothing than before, but with the feeling of reassurance comes the unsettling feeling of threading on thin ice. As if anytime, you could fall into abyss.

"Before I teach you the next jutsu let's sit down and analyze your over all damage."

"First off, the first jutsu you learned, the mizu ranpa. That jutsu is a skill shot type and is effective on one on one combat since it forms a straight line rather than a fan like form. Show me your skill bar."

With his sharp toothed grin, he dashed towards Akali with a fist speeding like a bullet. As reflex, she blocked her face with her arms but seeing as she wore the bone nails that Pollux gave, a wall of shark teeth covered her from his punch giving it a loud thunk.

"Oh shit oh shit owowowowowow.......sometimes even my own bones can be strong enough to kill me."

"Hey narcissist think fast."

Akali shouted and manipulated the bone wall with her clawed hands, breaking the wall into the bones that resembled ribs, and shooting them one after the other after.

"Hey now!! Catching me off guard is seriously irritating."

"It's not my fault you keep on zoning out!"

She shouted as her body swerved from straight to bending, barely missing a heavy armed punch from Pollux. Akali quickly moved from her position and dashed towards Pollux, a bijudama forming on her left hand.

"Too predictable. And your water like bijudama is so flashy."

He said and increased his speed drastically, appearing behind Akali and pushing her head down to the forest floor, hearing a small crack from her.

"Oh shit. Totally over did it."

Pollux jumped back and circled the slowly rising Akali, her head dripping with a beautiful crimson color.

"Sh*t. What if I loose a brain cell because of this?"

"You know you can't."

"I was joking! geez."

Now with a small bijudama on her hand, she jumped up and spun airborne, confusing the shark god on which direction will she fire her bijudama.

"Ggggggghhhh!!"

She grunted as she released the bijudama from her palm, a resounding explosion ranging 90-1 km radius going off from below her.

Of course Pollux came out unscathed, jumping towards her like a speeding bullet.

Once on her level, Pollux immediately pounced on the white haired girl and brought her down with him, choking the hell out of her as they crashed that resulted in another explosion.

Now both are sure that someone definitely saw. But they were so immersed in their fight that they failed to notice a certain white haired folk and his student rushing off to the origin of the explosion.

"Hey pervy sage what was that ttebayo?"

"I don't know yet kid. We'll see."

Still on Pollux's chokehold, Akali smirked as she desperately clawed on the ground below her and on the shark God's hand.

Seeing as Pollux was caught off guard, Akali quickly regained breathe and threw soil on his eyes, confusing him even more. So she did what any normal person would, kicked the shark off of her and regained her stance.

Still catching her breath, she didn't let anything stop her as she delivered a soild kick to his head, spinning and making her other foot land on his nape as she used the momentum to also land a scratch on his or should I say her face?

"We should stop them dattebayo!! Kacchan is—"

"Shhhh!! Let's observe for now."

The old pervert along with his student are now hiding in a bush near the fight, a motion which didn't go unnoticed by Pollux. So after Akali exhausted herself from relentlessly attacking her supposed clone, Pollux quickly poofed away from existence, instantly going inside the white haired girl's brain.

Akali flinched, feeling the presence of the shark god in her brain and smelling the distinctive smell of ramen and bath house incense from a nearby bush.

"How did you not notice that earlier? You should also train that weakness of yours. Seriously. So much work in so small time."

"Come out Naruto."

Akali said with a sigh, massaging her own shoulders as the fight just happened to injur her pretty badly.

"H-huh? How did you know Kacchan dattebayo??"

He said as he approached her with a guilty look, but instantly replaced by a worried one after seeing the noticeable blood of her forehead.

"Are you okay dattebayo?! Who did this??"

"Relax, I'm training with a clone. Plus, shouldn't you be training for the chunin exams too?"

Akali asked, as if completely unaware of the Sannin's presence on the bush.

"I know right! But pervy sage only taught me on how to walk on water!! How can I use that dattebayo?!"

The blonde ranted as he glared at the man who's now out of the bush, scratching his nape as the blonde accused him that he's only doing that because he wanted to peep on girls.

It was truly wonderful how different their thoughts were to each other, but still they had a staredown as if they were assessing each other's deal.

Naruto said that immediately broke the tension between the two, the white haired girl acting in slight surprise.

She wasn't trying to be on his good side, but she isn't going to ignore the fact that she was gonna be obliterated if she made the wrong move. So she did what she usually does in the presence of a stronger human and yeah.

"What really?! But he's a pervy sage dattebayo!!"

The white haired man grabbed her shoulder to prevent her from taking any more steps.

Jiraiya mumbled, clearly sorry for the kid. The said 'kid' looking at him with a frown.

"Oh please I have 11 million. And Pollux's can just restore that anyway."

And with that, 7 rings by Ariana Grande just played at the background.

"Talkin like you bathe on cash everyday!! I like it."

"You're asking me? What about Junko? I bet she could buy her whole nation if she wants to."

With that, she 'summoned' a clone, more precisely Pollux in a transformation of her, to carry her passed out body to the hospital. Leaving the two with a confused and somewhat astonished look.
