Chapter 8: Weapon and Skill

Akali's POV

Month 2- start

I am now level 55, my pace on leveling up just got a lot more slower since the EXP that I need to fill now was more than a million, oh, and my chakra is now 80 000. I asked system about the tailed beasts chakra bar which made my jaw drop just by hearing it.

[Due to tailed beast being the embodiment of chakra themselves, the total chakra inside them is 10 million CP being the lowest and 100 trillion above being average to full.]

By then I realized that becoming a tailed beast was a far cry but hey, it was the reason my spirits were high. I'm still aiming for it.

For the first day in the second month, I actually wondered if Lion was a Hyuga. But he wasn't. His eye color was far more darker than the pale lilac that the Hyugas possess. Still a very pretty violet though.

Academy is only one month away now, and I'm gonna say that nothing really interesting happened. Just leveling up, sleeping, eating, training, oh and about being a seal master, I was quite struggling at that. Since writing Kanji was so f*cking hard, I went through many saves just because every time I get it wrong, it either blows up my face or blows up other people's guts. Some just doesn't work and some....well yeah.

So I studied first. Of course I didn't find out anything since I can't enter the ninja section of the library. And even though I can, I could only get away with low rank jutsus. I couldn't risk my REP with Miria yet, since I'm still no ninja. All I found out that Uzumakis were seal masters and they were destroyed because of the fear for their talents. All of which I already know. But hey, I never gave up. If the Uzumakis were feared because of how strong they were, then the more reason I should learn this.

Well guess what, I failed in two consecutive weeks. I didn't even sleep, not a single blink as I believed that I was a step closer every time. The Hokage was also getting suspicious of the bombs that detonate near my house but when he found out that it was only me, trying to learn seals, he dismissed it. Seriously. He trusts me too much. Well I guess it's only logical to think that if I betray all of my current ties, I'll be starting a world war that I didn't like at all. So yeah. I sucked it up and went with it.

By week 3-4 I've already done one proper vibration sensitive paper bomb. I was in complete euphoria. I can't believe that dying multiple times almost got me a trauma, but hey! I learned how to make my first seal!

The trick was to actually learn how to write Kanji first. Then I practiced writing Kanji until I was almost near becoming a calligrapher. I also studied how they arrange, how to activate them and how to deactivate them so I'm pretty sure I'm already a seal master. But only a master beginner. I still have a lot to learn.

Current time

I rested for about a whole day after that. Though I know that too much sleep is also bad, I can't help but pass out at the thought of my fluffy bed, my cold room and the warmth of my covers snuggling me until I fell asleep, so, I did what a normal person would do and slept.

Right now I'm just walking around Konoha with nothing to do. It's my rest day today since it's the last day of the second month, and I already have an idea on what I'll be focusing tomorrow.

"Gaki."

"Hm?"

I answered without even looking at the person who was clearly Lion. He was still stalking me all this time and yeah, by now it's uncomfortable thinking that one day he would stop.

"The Hokage's calling me. Imma head out."

"Sure go ahead."

"Are you sure that you'll be fine without me? The Hokage also gave me this job to protect you, ya know?"

"Yes. Yes I can. If I can beat your *ss, then what are the chances that I'll loose to anyone?"

He clicked his tongue with a smirk before disappearing in a poof of smoke, leaving me alone still walking at the streets. Well, for the past few months I may or may not have provoked him in some kind of way that made him want to fight me to death just so that I could train a new skill I had in mind, but hey, it was worth it because he's more of a ninjutsu that taijutsu.

Well, I can dodge powerful ninjutsu all the time so I thought of a way to counter one without using chakra. Only using my body as my own shield. Then, I came up with an idea.

What if I can throw the enemies' ninjutsu back at them? Just like mirroring their moves but instead of copying it, I'm actually making their own ninjutsu hit them.

Sounds pretty ambitious for a skill without using chakra huh?

That's why I'm taking my day off now. I wanted to find Might Gai so that I could prove the theory I have in my head, plus, I've never been out this past few weeks. I need a breath of fresh air too.

But how can I find him? Oh right, Kakashi. I don't know where his house is though.....it'd be a miracle if I somehow-

"MY YOUTHFUL AKALI-CHAN!!! IT NICE TO FINALLY SEE YOU AGAIN!!"

My eyes opened in horror as my luck and probably the green man's mating call was heared by the whole Konoha.

"Oh my God, I wish whoever that person is, I hope they're okay."

And before I knew it, I was spinning around and all I see is a green blur.

"Gai-sensei! Put the poor girl down! I'm so sooo sorry, are you alright??"

Whom I'm guessing was Tenten helped me stand up and dusted my clothes, shaking me slightly to remove the dizziness that Gai caused. Dang I'm still not fast enough to dodge that?

"Yeah....Thanks."

I said before getting serious.

"Gai-san, since you are the strongest Taijutsu master that I know, I'd like you to see a move that I've been making. Can I bother you with a quick spar??"

"Why sure! You wouldn't mind if my team comes along will you?"

"Not at all. I was going to ask if you could bring them but you beat me into it."

I smiled and faced the three who looked like they were very confused at the exchange between me and their sensei.

"Team, her name is Akali-chan! We youthfully got her in a mission in Udon no Kuni! Akali-chan, this is my youthful team, Rock Lee,"

"It's a pleasure to meet you!"

"Tenten"

"Same here!"

"And Neji Hyuga!"

The Hyuga scoffed but didn't say anything as we were lead by Gai-san in a small training ground.

"Tenten-san, do you know any ninjutsu of any sort?"

"Well yeah! I have one."

I smiled at her and nodded, looking at Rock Lee who looked like he was pumped up. The Hyuga looking totally uninterested. Stuck up much? I sighed and dismissed the thought.

"Gai-san, I've been developing a taijutsu move that can do both defense and offense against a long range technique, to be specific, a ninjutsu. I was hoping if you could give me pointers on how I can improve it."

I said and jumped up and down, just like how Taekwondo players prep themselves before a match.

"Shall we spar, Lee-san? Tenten-san?"

I smirked which made the said boy's eyes sparkle, instantly doing a battle stance of his own.

"I won't let you down, Gai-sensei!"

"Oh Lee, just watching both of my youthful youngins spar with passion is the most youthful thing I could ever ask for!"

My declaration made the Hyuga's brow twitch in anger. Tenten and Lee readied themselves as Gai shouted:

"Go!"

Lee dashed towards me in full speed, delivering a punch to the face which I blocked with my left arm, twisting my lower body to launch a kick at his unguarded stomach. He quickly backed away, Tenten immediately coming to play with a barrage of kunai that I deflected and dodged, rushing to Lee with full speed and delivering my first Karate move.

"Punch of the stone golem."

I muttered silently, curling my left arm to my side and straight up punching him with my right, my feet apart to hold my balance. That was only a normal karate punch but it sent Lee backwards, even though it didn't hit him at all. Powerful, but not powerful enough. I still need to practice that.

Doing a back flip, I dodged Tenten's barrage of shuriken, the said girl laying a big *ss scroll on the ground. She must be getting ready for that jutsu.

Both of us rushing at each other in the same time, Lee and I exchanged a couple of kicks and punches, all of which me both dodge, but some going through my defense that made him punch me straight to the face.

I wiped away the blood that dripped down my nose and smirked, getting ready for the next attack that I have for him.

"Kick of the fire dragon"

I said and kicked the ground beneath him, sending a powerful shock wave to offset his balance, making the ground crack under it's pressure. When he was momentarily shocked at my technique, I seized that opportunity to execute the third move,

"Dance of the water lily"

Upon muttering those words I sent a kick to his chin, a punch to his stomach and left cheek, a kick on the both of his sides, a high kick to the temple of his head and a spinning roundhouse kick all in one swift move. Although the last was blocked by his arms. I'm still not fast enough to take advantage of the 20 seconds that he was shocked, but I didn't falter. My whole body tensed as Tenten shouted the words;

"Exploding dragon strike!"

I readied myself, awaiting for the dragon to come close enough to make my last move. The wind blew so strong in my face but it was perfect, seeing that it was a confirmation for my technique. Then I jumped, the highest that I can get and spun atleast 3 to 4 times, finally spreading my legs wide open to capture the dragon using the wind that gathered at my ankles and calves, spinning one last time airborne and shouting;

"Kick of the Exploding scorch dragon!"

I shouted as the fire was slowly eating the fabric on my legs, launching the kick to a nearby clearing that exploded upon the jutsu's impact. I fell to the ground with a soft thud, my feet touching the dirt as I panted lightly.

Dang. Using that move took 5 HP. Still, it was a small price to pay.

The three was shocked to the core (probably) as they stared at the damage that I made. I hope the Hokage doesn't mind though.......that is still collateral damage and I am not paying for that.

"Wow! That was amazing!!!! How did you do it?!?!?!"

"That was a strong youthful move Akali-chan!! How did you youthfully come up with it?!"

I laughed nervously as both Lee and Tenten had much more sparkles shining in their eyes, the Hyuga however, was left staring at the crater with his eyes wide open. Keh. He must've underestimated me that's why he's that shocked. Oh yeah....Neji was a big sexist before the chunnin exam arc.....meh.

"That was certainly youthful Akali-chan! And you even came up with it by yourself! Now for my opinion."

Gai looked stern, as he looked like he was recalling what I did in that spar.

"Punch of the stone golem, kick of the red dragon and dance of the water lily...all of those were preparations for this counter attack, yes?"

I nodded, though he was missing a point.

"It wasn't just a preparation, it was also a combination of a defense breaker, so that the last move will make damage correct?"

I nodded again. Well, he is the one who trained Lee. He must've noticed that I was punching through his defense like it was nothing. To be honest, I felt like I was punching a boulder, but I am making damage so it was worth the pain.

"So this is the first thing I noticed. Though it may seem that the first three moves wasn't a waste, this counter attack takes too long to execute. By utilizing the air around you, you used those combos to make the air circulate around your body, so when the ninjutsu was released, the air caught it's direction. You didn't mirror the move, you changed it's direction for it to go back to the caster! The air however buffed the effects of the jutsu because it was a fire jutsu. But it was too amplified causing that burn, am I right??"

I subconsciously touched the not so bad looking first degree burn that was on my calf. Doesn't really hurt, I'll just have to go to the hospital and get bandages.

"All I can say is that if you can find a way to make that air circulate without the build up of those other three moves, you'll be youthfully unstoppable! Ah yes, anyways me and my youthful team need to go. We're getting ready for a mission tomorrow!! Ja ne Akali-chan!!"

"Ja Akali!!"

"Ja ne Akali-chan!! Next time, I'll beat you with the power of youth okay?!"

"Hmph."

I sweatdropped at the last comment before waving goodbye. I see, air circulation.

If I can do that without the help of those other three.....I'm not sure I can. Well, if that build up was done then not only can it activate that attack, it'll also be unnecessary to do those three again once I've already done them.

I grinned and swiped away the tab, patting the dust from my clothes and started walking again. I got worried glances from a few civilians who looked at my burn but I didn't mind since I'm going to the hospital anyway.

I reached for my hair and tightened the knots before putting my hands inside the pocket of my hoodie. Now now what to do after going to the hospital? TakoYuzuri (the name of the takoyaki shop) isn't open until 3 pm and it's only 1 pm......I've also done all of my quests and daily tasks.....what to do.....

Just then the wind picked up and my spine shivered. Someone's behind me. And I think I might know who.

"I only left for a couple of hours and you're already hurt? Are you making an excuse for me not to leave you?"

Suza-baka smirked smugly as he tied a piece of cold cloth on the burnt area.

"Dream on you lovesick b*tch."

I said and glared at him, the said man not being fazed by my angry antics anymore. He was so used to it that it became his lullaby when he can't sleep. Just kidding.

"Going somewhere??"

He said, following behind me as I started to walk towards who knows where.

"I was going to the hospital but since you already treated me, I don't really know."

"Wanna go to the library?"

"You just want to see Miria-nee."

I said with a tick mark. He responded with an apologetic-guilty smile but nonetheless continued to give suggestions.

"What about the park? A walk could be nice?"

"We're already walking genius. And what do you think of me? A dog?"

"Nah, more like a bipolar cat."

"If you don't stop talking I WILL scratch you to death."

He sweatdropped.

"What do you have in mind then?"

"I was thinking of a place where I could get an upgrade. I don't think I'll be strong enough by just my bare hands. And I'm not Gai-san to actually use the eight gates."

"Really kid? All you think about is getting stronger. You said this was a rest day you know?"

"So what? It's a rest day for my physical activities. That doesn't mean I won't find new ways to get stronger."

He frowned and said nothing. He looked as if he was thinking deeply before looking like he had and idea.

"Promise me you'll rest once we get to that place?"

"Sure. I was thinking on having takoyaki anyway."

"Good, now follow me."

He said before running towards a certain direction. He didn't hesitate to use his full speed because he knows that I can catch up and I respect that.

Not long enough, we reached the place that he was talking about. It was labeled as a blacksmith shop, a natural building that every nation has. I can trade and forge materials here but since I'm still at story mode, it's quite exhilarating to see it up close.

Suzaku gestured me to follow him inside, immediately seeing a somewhat stout yet muscled old man, white hair due of old age, he was top less but his hair and beard was enough compensation to cover his skin. To be short, a stereotypical blacksmith.

Upon sensing our arrival, he raised the goggles that he wore upon his eyes, dropped the finished tanto to the side and removed his gloves, greeting us with a closed-eyed smile, looking like he was the embodiment of Santa Claus.

"Ah Suzakyun! You came to visit! And you also brought a little girl with you~ is she your student??"

He said with an excited tone, nearing my direction before giving me soft head pats.

So that's why every anime girl I see wants a head pat......it feels nice and warm. But he's ruffling my hair now so no.

"Careful oyaji. She might scratch you."

Suza-baka just snickered when I hissed at him, which made his father laugh in a loud booming voice. Oh yeah...oyaji means father in Japanese too.....

"AHAHAHA!! How interesting!! Is she that tyrant that you're always having nightmares about? I can't believe this pretty little girl is such a cunning manipulator!!"

"Well, I am satisfied to hear that my face haunts you every night. Makes me feel like you finally yield ya know?"

"BHAHAHAHH!!! Look son! You're being owned by a little girl!! GYAHAHAHA!!"

"OKAY OKAY! You're the superior one! Are you happy now?! O-Oyaji!! You're supposed to be on my side!! Stop laughing!!"

His father was now rolling on the ground with tears in his eyes whilst he hold his stomach like it was in pain after so much laughter, Suzaku fuming with anger behind him.

"Now now, you wouldn't visit your old man just like that now wouldn't you?"

He said and walked around, fixing the weapons that scattered all over tha room, also putting his tools back into place.

"Well, I was thinking if you can get her a weapon. Since she always wanted an upgrade and something like that."

I nodded. Having a weapon doesn't sound so bad.....and it'll ba added to my attack power and total damage to my enemy! That's perfect actually........

"Oho? And what weapon do you have in mind?"

His father said, bringing out some of his tools as if he was getting ready for building my weapon already. Wow. And my REP with him is 30?? That's nice...he's quite fond of me.

"Well I was thinking about something that can be long and short range.....something that's perfect for taijutsu. Something that can be camouflaged but at the same time, flashy. Anything that comes into mind??"

Suzaku said before I can even say a thing, but hey, his suggestion was not bad. It matches my current personality well.

"Hmm.......there is only one. And I think it'll be perfect for someone as cunning as you. But,"

"Buuut?"

I trailed. He looked seriously at Suzaku and I can already tell that what they will discuss will be important.

"We're gonna have to use 'that' to make her weapon. Do you think we could trust her?"

"What?! We're using that......but we haven't used that in years! But....I do trust her....she might not even know that 'that' exists."

His father smiled and looked at me. I however, was confused as f*ck. What is 'that'?? And why does it sound like it's top secret.

"What we're about to show you is why I was held the best blacksmith in Kono- no, the whole world. Why the weapons that I make is almost indestructible. Can you channel your chakra to us?"

I nodded, somewhat nervous, but nonetheless I placed my hands in front of me.

"Put three-fourths of your chakra, and we will do the rest."

Everything was dark, but there was a light that was enough to make me see Suzaku and his father that lessened my nervousness, so with slightly sweaty palms, I channeled three-fourths of 80 000, and watched as figures slowly appeared and glowed in front of me....those said figures being....crystal?

Wait.

Wait!

SUZAKU IS A GUREN?! WHAT THE F*CKING SH*T?!

There was absolutely no doubt on what I was seeing! It was crystal!! The blue aura that came from my hands, which I'm guessing was my chakra was being converted as it passed through Suzaku and his father's hands, forming a small rectangle shape with different colors that shined different colored lights. What the h*ll?! Guren was supposed to be Orochimaru's henchmen! Why are there more! Does the Hokage knows?! Is this the because I f*cked up Naruto's plot?! What the h*ll?!

"Please calm down little one. Your emotions represent the state of your chakra and if you are too disoriented, so will be the result of your weapon."

Suzaku's father and him still had their eyes closed as they focused on making more rectangles, and because I didn't want to bother them any longer, I inhaled a deep breath and released it just to calm my nerves. Gamer's mind helped me calm my chakra and soon enough, my whole body is in euphoria once more. I'm just going to bombard them with questions later. Oh wait, Guren is quite rare.....so rare that even the Hokage doesn't know of her yet. Well, if we're basing on cannon events. I have to be careful about approaching this matter. One wrong tap and I might shatter all of their trust in me, so for now, focus all of your senses into your chakra. Just like meditation. Yep. Calm first, rage later.

I also closed my eyes, and since it wasn't open in the first place, I just well, closed my mental image. Blind Master is fueled by mental image, real life image, and slight efficiency so it wasn't really hard to turn it off.

Now for those of you who's wondering how I sleep even though I see past my eyes, that's your explanation up there.

"It's finished kid. Open er- I mean you can look now."

I turned on the Blind Master again and when I saw something, my vision immediately turned to the deck of cards that Suzaku's father was holding.

Wait, a deck of cards? That's the weapon he had in mind?

With a smile, Suzaku's father handed me the deck of cards. It's back side was blue designed with very small white water lilies on four sides, the rest of the back being occupied by white lines and swirls but what surprised me was that the front...

.....it has nothing.

The front of the card was all white, devoid of any design or color at all. It was the same for all the other cards that made me look at them in confusion.

"You better feel special gaki. This is our family weapon, a unique Kekkei Genkai that no one has ever heared off. Not even the Hokage."

"We trust that you won't tell anyone??"

I nodded and looked at the cards once more. This time, I raised my blindfold to use analysis.

I said out loud that made the men chuckle. Damn! I slipped up.....I've got to be more careful!

"If you are wondering why these cards are empty, it's because they are like mirrors. They show what you want them to show. Straight flush? Full house? Or maybe even Royal flush? With these cards, you can never loose a card game ever!"

He showed me the said set of cards, each design appearing with a flick of his wrist like it was magic, and dang was I fooled. Does it even have a trick? I mean, it's not called Mirror of Aphrodite for nothing...

Suzaku's father chuckled mischievously alongside with my own that made Suzaku sweatdrop.

"It's also paper thin, but is extremely sharp and strong. It'll never break because you pushed so much charka in them. Dang kid, you have a big reserve. Even bigger than mine and Oyaji's combined!"

I smiled at the compliment as they continued the explanation of my new weapon.

"If some of these babies got lost, you can just track them. It is fueled with your chakra after all. If it somehow breaks, you could always reproduce a new set. Just push your chakra into one of them....then bam! A new set is born."

Suzaku said as a card that he was holding suddenly looked as if it was cloned, he merged the both of the cards so it became one again.

"You could also make this whole deck only one, but be careful. If you loose this one, you loose all of them, and it takes so much out of our energy so we won't make you another set again. Understood?"

"Hai!"

I said and looked at the deck in my hand. Such a powerful weapon......but it feels like I'm getting closer to Hisoka Morrow every single day....whatever. as long as I'm no shotacon, I'll be fine.

I actually thought of an image to portray to the cards so I tested it, flicking my fingers that held nothing before, making a single card appear in between them and showing the surface of the card that has a yellow number 2 written on it.

GYJAHAHAHAHHAJ!!! I JUST BROUGHT UNO UPON THIS WORLD!

Ah damn I feel like I hold the world in my hands now......

I chuckled as I thought to myself, recalling a few card tricks that I learned from that magic book I borrowed. I waved the whole deck in front of them, swapping it on both my left and right hand for show, and when I settled for my left hand, I flicked my whole hand and wrist, making the whole deck dissappear behind my hand.

The both of them looked at each other with an amused face before clapping their hands. I bowed a little and smirked before bowing to Suzaku's father and handing him whats left of the money that the Hokage gave me. Since I still have 2 million plus on my account, it was nothing to me. I needed to repay this man somehow.

"Ah, no need to pay me. You're close to my son so treat this as a perk for me being fond of you."

He said before ruffling my hair again. I smiled gratefully that he reciprocated as he threw me in the air and hugged the sh*t outta me.

"Damn. Even I wasn't spoiled like that when I was a kid....."

"Of course not, you're my son! If you actually had the balls to ask Miria out, then I would've had cute grand babies now!"

He said and cooed at me as if I was a damn child. I just sucked it up and frowned so hard that a bulldog couldn't even compare. Oh wait I'm forgetting to say something.

"Sick burn b*tch."

Suzaku twitched uncontrollably as his father laughed at my antics, quickly grabbing me by the collar and dragging me out of the shop, leaving the old man crying and saying;

"Come back to visit again okay!! Bye bye my sweet baby!!"

I cringed. But hey, it's not that bad.

After that, we bought takoyaki and went for a slow walk in the park. After getting everything I need, I was exhausted as this day was also a very eventful one.
