Todoroki took a deep breath.

"I- I was scared that you would play with my feelings.... so I distanced myself from you, thinking I would lose my feelings I had towards you.... but it never worked," Todoroki mumbled.

"Are you mad? It felt like you were playing with mine, " Bakugou chided.

"I was just scared......" Todoroki sighed.

"Why are you scared? Why would I play with your feelings?" Bakugou asked.

"Well..... someone did a few years ago and I didn't want that to happen again...." Todoroki fidgeted with his fingers.

"Eh? What do you mean?" Bakugou raised an eyebrow.

"Basically.... its started a few years ago....to be more specific, around 2 years ago.....I had... a partner.... his name was Daiki,"

(A/N: it's Todoroki's flashback now uwu

Note:Words in bold: Todoroki is talking to BakugouWords which are NOT in bold: basically it's just the flashback-

"Todoroki! I heard you love dark chocolate so I bought you some..... I- I hope you can love me as much as you love them!" Daiki blushed as he handed Todoroki the dark chocolate.

Todoroki giggled. He took the dark chocolate and faced him.

"Hehe, of course I will," Todoroki chuckled.

"Really?" Daiki's eyes glistened.

"Really!" Todoroki smiled.

"I thought he was nice person....."

Todoroki blinked thoughtfully as the frost patiently kissed his face, captivated by the soft, dusty illusions of light that sat heavily on his long eyelashes. He loved the white, fluffy snow. Laughs and giggles of children could be heard everywhere. Christmas songs were being played in every shop.

Todoroki stood on a bridge. He watched as the sun set. His eyes were steady to the horizon, face aglow with the last orange rays before twilight beckons the stars. The range of gold stretched far and wide, the colour of fire hearths and tangerines. It was not long before the colour, orange, faded.

"Todoroki," Daiki snapped.

"Hm?" Todoroki responded.

"Close your eyes," Daiki smiled.

"Eh? Haha ok," Todoroki did as he said and closed his eyes.

Todoroki then felt something sliding through his fingers.

"Open your eyes now!" Daiki cheered.

Slowly, Todoroki opened his eyes and his cheeks were red. His eyes glistened with happiness.

"Wha- what is this?" Todoroki asked.

"Matching couple rings! What else could it be? Look, I got one too!" Daiki chuckled as he raised his hand.

"I- I can't believe it.... this.... it's pretty!" Todoroki smiled.

"Heheheheh, just like you!" Daiki giggled.

"Thank you!" Todoroki jumped into Daiki's arm and buried his face into his chest.

"He was caring and cheerful. He liked to help people and would never fail to cheer you up if you ever felt down....

However.... after a few moths since we started going out.... he said he couldn't meet me as he was busy....."

"Daiki, when are you going to come over?" Todoroki asked as he laid on his bed.

"Maybe next week? Or maybe next two weeks?" Daiki answered.

"Ehhh? Why do I have to wait so long?" Todoroki asked.

"I have to study for the exams!" Daiki snapped.

"But you've been studying for over two months now! Shouldn't you take a break? The last time we went out together was about three weeks ago," Todoroki complained.

"Please understand, this exam is really important. If I fail this, I cannot go to college," Daiki groaned.

"Awwww ok..... you better visit me soon!" Todoroki pouted.

"Yeah, yeah. I got to hang up now, I have to study now," Daiki informed him.

"Ok.... bye...... love you!" Todoroki smiled.

However silence greeted him. Without saying goodbye, Daiki had hung up the phone.

"Weird....." Todoroki mumbled.

"He said he had to study for the upcoming exams as it was 'important'I believed him at first. But two months passed and I found it peculiar that I was the one who had to contact him in order for him to contact me. I was starting to get annoyed.....

Then one Sunday morning came and I dropped by a cafe to buy coffee... miraculously, I saw him sitting at a table. I wanted to greet him but then I saw a woman, around my age, sitting in front of him. I didn't want to eavesdrop the conversation but I happened to hear a few words..... the woman asked him something like... " are you sure he wouldn't know?" I also heard her say "baby" I didn't want to make assumptions and thought that I just misheard what she said and thought that she was just a close friend of his, so after buying the coffee, I headed back home..... but as time flew, I became more worried so I called him up and told him to meet me at this..... place."

"Why did you want me to meet you here?" Daiki asked.

Todoroki fidgeted with his fingers. Gathering his courage, he spoke up, "I went to a cafe a few days ago and I saw you there. I just want to know who that woman, sitting in front of you, was."

"Woman? Which cafe?" Daiki raised an eyebrow.

"Don't act stupid now, I saw you there with my own two eyes. She talked to you and you responded back, there's no way you don't know her," Todoroki snapped.

"Oh that?" Daiki replied.

Todoroki nodded his head in response. Daiki then fished out his phone from his pocket and showed Todoroki his screen which had the woman.

"This woman?" Daiki asked.

"Yes," Todoroki relplied instantly.

"Oh, she's my girlfriend," Daiki spoke indifferently.

"W-what?" Todoroki stuttered.

"I said, she's my girlfriend," Daiki repeated.

"Y-you're joking right?" Todoroki stammered.

"Why would I?" Daiki replied.

"W-wait. W-what happened to us? Why did you go after another woman?" Todoroki blurted.

Tears were visible in his eyes. There was a mix feeling of anger and sadness growing in him.

"I didn't feel like dating you anymore. You were kind of boring," Daiki yawned.

"Y-you could have told me. We could have sorted things out. You didn't have to hurt my feelings like this," Todoroki cried.

"Why not? I wanted to play with your feelings," Daiki smiled.

"H-How could you! I thought you were true about your feelings..... y-you were not in love with me, right?" Todoroki stanmered as tears trickled down his cheeks.

"Hm, yes, true. I wasn't gay or bisexual. I was straight. I didn't even know why I confessed to you," Daiki smiled.

(A/N: I just wanna 👦🔫🔫🔫🔫oh wait wrong emoji. I meant this 🗑🔫🔫🔫🔫)

"Oh, really? Haha..... it's over then," Todoroki took his ring out from his finger and threw it to the ground.

"Hey, hey, hey, not so fast. I haven't even taken the most important thing from you," Daiki blurted.

(A/N: You probably don't want to know what 'the most important thing' is 😺)

"Well you're not taking it," Todoroki groaned as he walked away.

Daiki grabbed his wrist and twisted it. Todoroki clenched his teeth in pain.

"You're not leaving me yet," Daiki snapped.

"What are you gonna do about it?" Todoroki grunted.

"I can do a lot to you, I can even end your life. But it'll be a bore, so instead, I can make you go crazy until you kill yourself," Daiki chuckled.

"You're not doing that!" Todoroki released his hand from his grip and ran away.

Todoroki ran as fast as he could. He didn't know where he was going. He was just going where his legs were carrying him. However Daiki was fast enough to catch up with him. In an instant, he grabbed Todoroki's wrist twisted it and pinned him down.

"What are you going to do now?" Daiki asked.

Todoroki tried moving under him but Daiki twisted his hand more making him wince in pain.

"I can break your wrist if you keep moving," Daiki snapped.

Todoroki was helpless. There was no way he could escape. He finally gave up and stopped moving. Daiki loosened his grip.

"You can see what I can do to you so don't think of running away from me," Daiki chuckled.

"Don't even think of calling the police," He threatened as he stood up and walked away, leaving Todoroki alone.

Slowly, Todoroki sat and stared at his wrist. It was bruised. His vision became blurry and tears trickled down his cheeks. He fell to the ground and sobbed.

"He told me he found a new woman and that he never had feelings for me. I wanted to end it but he threatened me. He said he could do.... things.... to me and he could hurt me if I left him. I didn't believe him at first but I had to after he bruised my hand."

"HE DID WHAT"

"It's in the past already...."

"BUT STILL."

"Ehhh shush shush. I'm not done explaining!"

"So, did you bring it?" Daiki asked.

"Bring what?" Todoroki asked, annoyed.

"The money," Daiki replied.

"In your dreams," Todoroki spat.

"You're such a stubborn boy," Daiki shook his head.

"I'm not going to repeat it again, where is the money?" Daiki repeated.

"I'm not bringing a single dollar. Find it yourself. I'm not using my blood, sweat and tears to give you my own money," Todoroki snapped.

"You're so stubborn, ready for punishment?" Daiki asked.

Todoroki remained silent. Daiki sighed and slapped Todoroki as hard as he could. Todoroki's legs weakened and he fell to the floor. The slap was hard, he could feel his cheek getting numb.

(A/N: dAmN, that slap must've been harder than how my mom slaps me)

"You're not going to tell me?" Daiki asked as he squatted.

"N-no..." Todoroki coughed as he tried standing up.

Daiki stood up and kicked him.

"You're such a weakling. I'm letting you off easy today," Daiki groaned as he walked away.

Todoroki clenched his stomach in pain. He was covered in bruises as it has been happening for almost two weeks. He couldn't help being looked down on and being beaten up. He wallowed in self-pity; he was drowning in an endless emptiness. (kurapika😳is🤸‍♀️now✨🌊drowning🌊✨in😁an🐸indescribable💋emptiness❤ *HAPPY GUITAR SOLO* ok I'm sorry, back to the story now)

"He'll threaten me and if I don't do as he says, I'll get beaten up. Once he used a burned cigarette and pressed it against my skin-"

"WHAT DID HE DO?"

"It's in the past already! How many times have I said this? Anyways, I decided to run away,"

"Todoroki, where are you going?" His mother asked.

"I'm sorry. I'm sick of this hellhole. I'm sick of everyone who's here," Todoroki replied as he slipped on his shoe.

"Todoroki, what do you mean?" His mother asked, worried.

"I'm going away," Todoroki stated.

"What?" His mother was shocked.

"Stop acting worried, you never were. You were always coming back home late, drunk, not giving a damn about your son," Todoroki spat.

"Todoroki, wait!" His mother shouted.

"Goodbye," Todoroki waved as he stepped outside of the house.

"Somehow, I managed to run away without getting caught.... and here I am now.... explaining to you..... you should understand why I was scared to be with you..... I didn't want the same thing to happen again......I'm sorry, I really am," Todoroki mumbled as he fidgeted with his fingers.

Todoroki was then brought into an embrace. He could smell the nice caramel aroma coming from Bakugou.

"I understand....." Bakugou mumbled.

"Have you ever felt like you've been loved?" Bakugou asked as he buried his face in the crook of Todoroki's neck.

"No....." Todoroki replied.

"Then how do you want me to love you?" Bakugou asked.

Todoroki blushed as red as a tomato. He hid his face trying to hide his embarrassment.

"Just.....just being there for me is fine....." Todoroki mumbled.

"Then do you feel loved now?" Bakugou asked again.

"......yes.....I guess...." Todoroki murmured.

"I can't hear you," Bakugou spoke.

"Y-yes!" Todoroki pouted.

Bakugou sat upright and ruffled Todoroki's hair. Todoroki's face was heated up. His whole face was red. He turned his face away trying to hide his embarrassment. Bakugou then stared at Todoroki's soft, cherry lips.

Bakugou caressed Todoroki's soft, pale cheek. He faced Bakugou as his heart skipped a beat. He stared at Bakugou's soft lips. They both inched closer each passing second. Todoroki closed his eyes. Their lips were an inch away from each other, they could feel each other's hot breath.

"KATSUKI!!!!" Mitsuki shouted as she burst open the door.

(A/N: haha- u thought- lmao- ehm ehm- If you're still confused, Mitsuki is Bakugou's momma)

"AHHH DAMN IT!!!" Katsuki fell to the floor.

"LIFT UP YOUR FAT ASS FROM THE FLOOR NOW!!!" Mitsuki shouted.

"I GET IT OLD HAG!!!" Bakugou growled.

"Oh! You must be Todoroki! Bakugou told me a lot about you!" Mitsuki smiled.

"MOM!" Bakugou shouted.

"I'M TRYING TO BE NICE HERE DAMN IT!" She shouted back.

"Anyways, would you care to join us for dinner?" She asked Todoroki.

"Uh.... umm..... ok....." Todoroki agreed.

"That's great! I'll meet both of you downstairs," Mitsuki smiled and exited the room.

"That was close," Bakugou sighed.

"Y-yeah....." Todoroki scratched the back of his neck.

"Meet you downstairs," Bakugou mumbled and pecked Todoroki's nose.

Todoroki was flushed with the sudden action. Bakugou left the room and Todoroki was left alone. He sat on the bed, lost in his thoughts.

"What just happened....." Todoroki mumbled to himself.
