Part 9 - successful mission

Sasuke stared more but Menma finally spoke "we can talk later after we get out of here " then he sat down his brother on the floor and got into fighting position then he said "alright Sasuke now you should be able to see his movements right?" Sasuke nodded he saw every move he made in slow motion but he doubted he was fast enough to catch him.

Then Menma said "alright I can catch him but not if I don't know where he is so tell me where he is and when I knock him to the ground you use that fire jutsu and I'll help you to make it even stronger" then the boy came out of the ice and Sasuke yelled "above you!".

Menma jumped up faster than the sharingan could follow then caught him and threw him up against the ice below then Sasuke released his fire jutsu and before it reached him Menma added a wind jutsu to strengthen it and he broke through the ice and the whole jutsu broke and they had escaped.

With Kakashi

Kakashi was charging up his Chidori then he headed for Zabuza when suddenly the fake Anbu pushed himself in front of him and the Chidori struck him in the chest and Zabuza then attacked them both and Kakashi then said "he died for you and you just cut through him llile he is nothing" Zabuza then frowned and yelled back "that boy is a weapon about time he fulfilled his purpose".

Then Gato's men showed up and Zabuza was forced to fight them and kill Gato and himself.

Zabuza landed next to Haku and closed his eyes 'we are not going to the same place Haku you belong with the angels me, however I'm a demon so this is it Haku goodbye"

Kakashi looked at his students then he asked his students "where's Naruto I saw him earlier" Menma and Sasuke both looked down to their feet in disappointment then Kakashi made his way to where the ice dome used to be and saw his missing students body then picked him up but then he saw the needles still inside and he removed them then saw Naruto take a deep breath in and opened his eyes and said "well that's new"

Then they stayed for the rest of the mission until the bridge was completed then Tazuna said "I was thinking of calling it the Naruto bridge because even if your own village discards you you'll always be remembered Azz for

Menma was walking next to Naruto on their way back home then he decided to break the uncomfortable silence and said "what were you going to tell me before you passed out back there?" Naruto gave her a one shoulder shrug then Menma asked a different question "you know I saw you and your scars did you get them from the villagers"

Naruto then said "stop asking questions these stupid questions" then Menma said "alright then how about one I ask you just one question then I will stop" Naruto nodded and said "alright what?" Menma took in another deep breath and asked "did you miss us" Naruto stopped unsure on how to answer the question then answered "every day" Naruto looked to the ground and continued "but, the first thought I had was why did she leave me to die why take you and not me and did she ever really care about me or love me even the tiniest bit" Naruto regained his composure and said "she has made it pretty clear she does not".

Sakura caught up with them and looked at them both and said "you both look exactly alike except Menma you are taller and Naruto you whiskers" Naruto turned to her and whispered in her ear "so with those differences which of us is more handsome" making her blush then she rushed to the other side of the group.

Kakashi was reading his Icha Icha Paradise while Sasuke was celebrating himself for gaining the Sharingan and thinking about revenge on his brother and ways to kill him.

Naruto felt he had connected with his brother and he was also happy that tomorrow was his birthday and his dad was coming back to life on the same day and he was the most excited then he looked to his clothes and knew he would have to buy more tomorrow.
