Chapter 13: Sorry for what?

“I’m sorry” Mark said.

Sorry for what? Did he do something bad? Why is he saying sorry to me?

“Hyung, waeyo? (why?)” I asked him.

“About earlier…” he said. “Mark oppa!” Yerin said.

Yerin suddenly called Mark and went near us. She smiled at me.

“Oh, annyeong unnie. Chukhahae! (Congrats!)” she said while holding Mark’s arm.

“For what? Why is everyone here so weird today?” I said.

“Oh? I was just congratulating you and Jr oppa.” Yerin said.

“Why? I already told you, we’re not dating. We’re just friends… just friends.” I said with a little annoyance in my voice.

People always judge others so easily. Can’t we just be friends? I mean we’re just friends, no issues with it.

“Okay. But you two look good together.” Yerin continued.

“Yerin-a, just stop, okay? She already said that they are not dating. Don’t make such issue.” Mark said. Then he looked at me.

“Okay.” Yerin said while she was pouting in front of Mark.

Yerin is kind to me but today I want to slap her. Sorry but I really feel jealous right now.

“I’ll be going.” I said.

Mark suddenly holds my hand.

“I still have something to tell to you.” Mark said.

“Uhm, can you just say it tomorrow? Today is really very exhausting. I think my migraine is going to attack anytime now.” I said.

“Yah oppa, let unnie rest for a while. She did a lot today.” Yerin said.

“Okay. I’ll just tell it tomorrow. Rest well.” Mark said.

I went back to the dorm and lay down on my bed.

“I’m sorry… about earlier…” I said. “About the forehead kiss? Tss.”

Tell me Mark, who am I in the story of your life? Where will I be if you close the book tonight? Am I the hero or the villain? Aish. Just stop expecting Rhianne. It doesn’t mean he likes you just because he kissed you on your forehead. Don’t expect something. Don’t let the past happen again.

I woke up early today. It’s Sunday. I have to go to church.

I attended church and saw Super Junior’s Siwon there and also 2ne1’s Minzy. They are really religious too. I was not able to have some conversation with them but I’m so glad I saw them there. After church, I went back to the dorms.

While I was walking,

“Waaaaaaah! Hahahaa.”

I heard that loud shout inside our dorm. Is something happening there? I immediately entered the door seeing GOT7 inside there.

“Bambam, I told you to kiss my foot.” Jr said to Bambam. Suddenly Jackson approached me.

“Rhianne-a, look at Jr. He is bullying Bambam.” Jackson said with a child’s voice. “Just pretend to get mad at him.” he then whispered.

“Oh, noona! Look!” Bambam shouted.

“Yah, Jr.” I said. Then he smiled. “Why are you bullying Bambam?” I said.

“Yeah hyung, why are you bullying me? Don’t you know I’m noona’s little brother?” Bambam said then he came to hug me.

“Yah yah, you can’t hug her Bambam.” Jackson said.

“Wae? (Why?)” Bambam asked.

“Someone will get mad.” Jackson said seriously.

A moment of silence….

“HAHAHAHAHAHA. Joke!” Jackson said then returned to his serious face.

“Whatever hyung.” Bambam said then he continued to hug me.

“By the way, why are you here guys? Don’t you have a practice for your promotion?” I asked.

“Oh about that, we just finished practicing. That’s why we are here. We’re resting.” JB said.

“Since Rhianne is already here. Why won’t we eat? We bought some foods.” Jr said.

Jr always thinks about food. -_- He’s afraid to get hungry.

“Yeah! Let’s eat. I’m hungry.” Jimin said.

“Tell me Jimin, when did you not become hungry?” Jackson said.

Jimin slapped Jackson hard on his arm. Then everyone laughed.

“Noona, have you eaten?” Yugyeom said.

“Not yet.” I said. “Then let’s eat.” Youngjae added.

While they were preparing the foods, Mark suddenly approached me.

“Can we talk for a while?” he said. I nodded then we went out of the dorm.

“What are you going to tell me, hyung?” I asked Mark.

“About yesterday… the kiss.” he said.

Yeah, it was all about the forehead kiss.

“Oh, about that. I was shock—“

“I didn’t know that Yerin will kiss me. I was shocked.” he said.

So… He didn’t mean about the forehead kiss?

 It’s about Yerin’s kiss? I don’t get it.

“Uhm, if it’s about that. Why are you saying sorry to me? I have nothing to do with it.” I said. Here I am playing innocent.

“It’s just that… you… maybe…” he utterly said.

“Maybe?”

“Maybe you’re mad at me.” he said.

“MAD?” I exclaimed. Then I suddenly covered my mouth. “Sorry for saying it loud. But, why am I going to be mad with you?” I said.

“So you’re not mad?” he said.

“Of course not. Why will I be mad?” I said.

He smiled at me then he pulled me and hugged me.

Dugdug. Dugdug.

I can feel his heartbeat. My heartbeat is going fast. Can you hear it Mark? Do you also feel my heartbeat? I bet not.

“Thank you. Let’s go and eat.”

He then pulled me and we went back the dorm. Jr seemed to notice that we just came back and Mark is still holding my hands. He gave me a teasing look. I immediately removed Mark’s hand and I just smiled.

“Ooh! Let’s eat. I’m so hungry.” Bambam said.

We started eating. The food was delicious. But I feel something…

In a few minutes, I started coughing.

 My breathing is not normal. It’s hard to breathe.

*cough**cough*

No oxygen is entering my body.

*cough**cough*

“Noona, are you alright?” Yugyeom said.

Mark gave me a glass of water.

“Drink it.”

I drank the water but my breathing isn’t going well.

*cough**cough*

“What is the flavor of this food?” I asked.

“Ooh, it’s a sweet and spicy noodle with shrimp.” JB said.

“With shrimp?!” Jimin exclaimed.

I stood up and immediately went to my room. So that is the reason.

“Yah, why? What’s happening?” JB asked.

“Unnie is allergic with shrimps.” Jimin said while following me.

“What? Really? Oh I’m sorry Rhianne-a. I don’t know.” JB said. “What are we gonna do?”

I just smiled at them saying that everything’s going to be fine. I went to my room and pulled my electronic inhaler and sat down.

“Are you going to be fine?” Jimin asked. I just nodded.

Mark suddenly entered my room.

“Is everything fine? Do you need to go to the hospital?” Mark asked. “Come, I’ll bring you to the hospital.”

Mark came near me.

“I think I should leave you too first. I’m going out.” Jimin said while teasingly looking at me.

Jimin-a, I’m already having a hard time breathing here then you’re going to tease me like that. What kind of friend are you?

“I’m fine. I just need to…” oh no I feel like vomiting.

I immediately went inside the comfort room.

“Yah, yah! Are you fine?” Mark suddenly shouted.

Minutes later, I went out of the comfort room and put my inhaler back.

“Thanks for the concern. I just need rest now.” I said.

“I’ll bring you to the hospital.” Mark said.

“No need. I just need this inhaler and I need to rest. That’s all.” I said.

Mark just looked at me. He went near my bed, fixing it.

“So you’re allergic with shrimps. Is there any other foods that you are allergic with?” Mark said while fixing my bed.

“I’m also allergic with tuna.” I said.

“Ooh, I’m sorr---, Is this me?” he said.

He suddenly saw my portraits, all his face. Those portraits were under my pillow. Kyaaak. -_- I’m dead.

Ahk! What to do Rhianne? You’re busted. -_-

I suddenly saw him smile.

“I didn’t know you’re good at drawing too.” he said. “I’ll be getting this one.” he said.

Then suddenly he helped me to lie down my bed.

“Get well. You still have training tomorrow.” he said.

He went out of the room smiling.

He now knows I like him. -_-
