Jimin POV

Jungkook was gone for about half a minute before Jin returned, and as promised, Namjoon in tow. "Ah, now you unlocked it! Namjoon might be the leader but I'm the oldest!" Jin pouted, crossing his arms in front of him.Jimin didn't know what to say.

Namjoon didn't say anything as he stood next to Jin in the doorframe.

He shot him a long, unreadable expression, then dropped his shoulders as if in defeat. He turned to the angry Jin and put a hand on his shoulders. "Jimin was probably too drunk las night and locked it by accident. Right, Jimin?"

He looked at his leader thankfully, nodding his head vigorously. "Yeah, I was pretty dizzy last night. And I was just waking up when you already threatened me with Namjoon." Jimin added, hoping he sounded sincere.

Jin looked between Jimin and Namjoon, still pouting like a five year old instead of the oldest. "Mhh, whatever. I'm gonna get dressed." he finally puffed and left.

Jimin was scratching the back of his head and sighed silently in relive. That could have gone massively wrong!

But he rejoiced too quickly as Namjoon stepped inside his room and pushed the door shut. He looked around the room in a somber expression and then stopped when he saw the messy bedsheets.

Jimin swallowed hard. There was a long silence where no one said anything.

Jimin felt like a kid who was about to be scolded by his father, his head hanging low and unable to meet his leaders eyes.

Then a loud sigh interrupted the silence and he glanced up to see Namjoon rub his forehead like it was hurting him.

"Do you know what you're doing, Jimin?", he asked and Jimin's head shot up, blushing at the same time.

"I..I don't know what you mean.", he stuttered, sitting down at the edge of his bed. Namjoon only shook his head and let himself fall into the office chair like he was really tired. He leaned forward, rested his arms on his knees and looked sincerely at him.

"I'm not stupid, Jimin. I know that there is something going on between you and Jungkook. Something happened when I left you two alone at his birthday party, am I right?"

Jimin only gaped at their leader. How did he always figure out stuff so easily?

Namjoon chuckled a little. It didn't exactly sound happy though.

"You think you are so good at hiding your feeling Jimin? I've known you liked Jungkook for a long time now."

A wave of shock went through his body. Namjoon knew?

"I figured you didn't want anyone to know so I didn't say anything. It's not like I could have done anything about that kind of thing anyway."

Jimin was looking at his hands as he rubbed them together. "So," he started, feeling a little insecure. " You weren't angry?"

"I wasn't. I was just worried. For you, mostly. I knew you were hurting."

Jimin nodded. There was nothing he could say to that. He had been hurting- he just got used to it at some point.

"So-" Namjoon cautiously asked. "Wanna tell me what changed?"

Jimin laughed humorlessly. " I have no idea. Jungkook just- "He sighed. He didn't understand Jungkook's sudden change at all. Only now he realized how desperately he wanted to talk to someone about this. He had kept it in for so long.

"He kissed me-on his birthday. I was sure it was just because he was drunk. But when he remembered the next day, he looked like he was about to freak out, so I told him we should just forget it. I really tried Namjoon: to pretend like nothing happened. I even stayed away from him and Jungkook did the same."

Namjoon nodded. "Yeah, I noticed. Everyone did, even Taehyung. But we wanted to let you figure it out yourself first. You always make up after an argument."

Jimin turned a little red. "Yeah, we made up in a different way this time."

Namjoon puffed out a single laugh. "You mean the 'fight' in the bathroom that Taeyhung told us about?" He put fight in air quotations and Jimin turned even redder.

"Trust me, I was more shocked than anyone. I never thought... But it just kind of happened."

"And have you guys talked about it?"

At that Jimin snorted. "You know he's not good at talking about his feelings, right?"

Namjoon let out an agreeing chuckle, then went silent. It finally made Jimin look up. He seemed worried, a frown on his face

"Look, Jimin. I know you're probably really happy right now, and I get it. You deserve happiness, you really do. But not just for your own sake, but also for the group, please talk to Jungkook about this. I know he would never want to hurt you but he's still young. And he was raised by us when we were still kids ourselves."

"Do you think he's just confused?"

"I don't know, that's why you should talk to him."

"I'm scared." Jimin admitted, finally voicing the reason he hasn't pushed Jungkook too much.

Namjoon stood and came to stand next to Jimin, resting a comforting hand on his shoulders. "You'll figure it out. I know you will. We're family, Jimin, and family always finds a way. And when you're ready, you can tell the others. They might be surprised, but I'm sure they'll understand."

With that, he left Jimin alone in his room. With a sigh he threw himself back on his back and lay there for a few moments before getting up and facing the consequences.
