After Dinner

As soon as dinner was over, Pond and Phuwin returned to their room.Phuwin freshened up and collapsed straight onto the bed. A few minutes later, Pond walked in and lay down on his side.

Phuwin let out a deep sigh and said,“Huhh… I’m so tired today.”

Pond put his phone aside and teased,“What work did you even do to be this tired?”

Phuwin rolled his eyes and replied,“Ooo hello! I did a lot… Gemini explained so many things to me.”

Pond raised an eyebrow, curious,“Oh really? By the way, Gemini is older than you, right? So why don’t you call him ‘Phi Gemini’?”

Phuwin answered casually,“Yeah… because he told me not to. He said just call him Gemini.”

Pond only responded with a soft, “Hmm.”

Phuwin smiled and said,“Yeah…”Then he turned toward Pond.

Pond was still looking at something on his phone when Phuwin slowly crawled closer to him. His face was now right next to Pond’s as he said,“I want to see what you’re watching.”

Pond raised his eyebrows and said,“Why? Don’t you have your own phone?”

Phuwin made a cute little face and replied,“I do… but I don’t feel like looking at my phone right now.”

Then Phuwin asked softly,“So… what are you watching?”

Pond smirked,“Can’t you see?”

On the screen, a series was playing. Slowly, both of them got absorbed in it.

After a while, Pond shifted his gaze from the screen to Phuwin—only to see that he had fallen asleep, right on Pond’s pillow, so close to him.

Pond paused for a moment, then turned off his phone and placed it aside. He gently pulled the blanket over Phuwin, tucking him in properly. For a brief moment, a strange softness crossed his face, but almost instantly, he turned his head away and went to sleep.

Next Day

Morning light streamed into the room as Phuwin slowly woke up. The first thing he felt was Pond’s arm draped over him. He turned slightly toward Pond, a soft smile forming on his lips. For a few moments, he just lay there watching him—like time had slowed down.

Phuwin whispered softly,“Pond… wake up. We have to go to the office.”

Pond opened his eyes, and his gaze landed directly on Phuwin’s face—just inches away. For a second, neither of them said a word. Pond quickly moved his arm away and sat up, walking straight to the bathroom without saying anything.

Phuwin just kept looking at him with a little smile.

Then he got up too. They both freshened up, got ready, and left for the office without any extra conversation.

Office Scene

Pond and Phuwin arrived at the office.

Phuwin smiled and said,“Today you’ll teach me something, okay? Just tell me what work I have to do, and I’ll do it.”

Pond replied in a casual tone,“Hmm… fine.”

Then Pond walked into his cabin, and Phuwin headed toward his own.

Other Side

Bright was sitting in his cabin, and Win was there too.

Win said,“Sir, please check these files properly.”

Bright replied,“Okay, leave them here. I’ll go through them and let you know.”

Win nodded,“Okay, sir.”

He was about to leave when Bright stopped him.“Wait… who told you to go?”

Win tensed up a little and said,“Sorry, sir.”

Then he sat back down.

Bright spoke casually,“Come with me this evening.”

Win looked confused and asked,“Where, sir?”

Bright said,“I need to buy some stuff.”

Win nodded,“Alright.”

Bright confirmed,“Yeah.”

Other Side

Phuwin was sitting in his cabin. After a while, he got up and went straight to Pond’s cabin. He pulled a chair close to Pond and sat down, saying,“Tell me what to do. I’m bored.”

Pond looked up from his laptop and said,“Huhhh… come here. Look at this.”

Phuwin leaned forward, curious,“What?”

Pond pointed outside the window and said,“Look… that bird is flying in the sky.”

Phuwin, slightly irritated, said,“So what am I supposed to do with that?”

Pond replied casually,“You said you were bored, right? So just sit and watch it.”

Phuwin said in an annoyed tone,“Huhhh… teach me some work.”

Pond picked up a file and said,“Okay, look at this. Take this file and check it properly.”

Phuwin frowned in curiosity,“What’s the point of that?”

Pond gave a mischievous smile,“It’ll be so much fun for you.”

Phuwin said in a cheeky tone,“Aahhh… come on, give me some real work. What am I supposed to do with this? 😒”

Pond held his head in frustration and said,“Damn it! Why do you think I’m giving you this file? Checking it is work too! Or if you need more work, then clean my cabin as well!”

Phuwin pouted,“You’re so mean. I’m not doing anything. I’ll just sit here.”

Pond, keeping his eyes on his laptop, said,“Fine, no problem. Sit. Just don’t bother me, okay? I have a lot of work—unlike you, I don’t have free time.”

Phuwin dramatically said,“Oh wow! First, you keep my friend so busy that I can’t even talk to him 😒. And now, I have nothing to do here either. Why did you even bring me here? I don’t want to do this boring stuff! Come on, let’s go out somewhere.”

Pond replied in an irritated tone,“What are you even?! How do you say so many things in one breath? And no, I’m not going anywhere with you. I have a ton of work. Now please—if you want to sit here quietly, then sit… otherwise, leave!”

Phuwin gave a cheeky smile, stayed silent, and started glancing at Pond from the corner of his eye. Pond got busy with his laptop again. The cabin fell into a slightly awkward silence.

Just then…The cabin door opened, and a girl walked in with a confident smile.Namtan: “Hello baby… what are you doing?”

Pond instantly looked up, slightly shocked, and stood from his chair. Phuwin also looked at her, raising his eyebrows.

Namtan: “So busy, huh?”Pond: “Y-you here? At this time?”Namtan: “Yeah… I thought I’d drop by your office. Then we could go somewhere together.”

Pond nervously glanced at Phuwin.

Phuwin immediately stood up and said in a bold tone,“Who? Where are you going?”

Namtan looked at Phuwin, then back at Pond and asked,“Baby… who is he?”

Pond stammered,“Aa… Namtan, this… this is Phuwin.”

Namtan gave Phuwin a head-to-toe look and said,“What are you doing here?”

Phuwin stepped closer, standing right between them, and said,“I should be the one asking you that. What are you doing here? And who exactly are you?”

Pond shot Phuwin a tense glance. Then Namtan shouted angrily,“I’m Pond’s girlfriend!”

Phuwin smirked sarcastically and said,“Oh… so you’re Vamtan.”

Namtan yelled,“It’s Namtan! Say my name properly!”

Phuwin crossed his arms and said,“Whatever… just leave.”

Namtan turned to Pond angrily and said,“Pond! Tell this guy to stop talking to me like that! And what is he even doing here in your cabin?”

Pond said nervously,“Namtan… let’s just go somewhere. I’ll explain everything to you.”

Phuwin stepped in front of Pond and said in a firm tone,“Pond, you’re not going anywhere. Got it?”

Pond snapped in frustration,“Please, Phuwin, don’t start drama here. This is my office—”

Phuwin locked eyes with him and said steadily,“I’m not creating drama. And even if you go somewhere… it’ll be with me. I told you that before.”

The atmosphere turned tense. Namtan stood there, shocked. Pond was speechless. Phuwin’s unwavering gaze stayed fixed on Pond.

Pond then turned toward Namtan, grabbed her hand, and said,“Namtan, please… just leave for now. I’ll meet you this evening, I promise. Please, Namtan…”

Namtan yanked her hand away and shot Pond a sharp look before saying angrily,“Don’t ever come to me again! Got it? I’m leaving!”

Her heels clicked furiously on the floor as she stormed out of the office.

Pond clenched his fist tightly, then turned to Phuwin, grabbed his shoulder hard, and said,“What the hell was that, huh?!”

Phuwin, irritated, replied,“I wasn’t doing any drama!”

Pond’s voice grew louder.“Phuwin! I’ve told you a thousand times—don’t come between me and Namtan! Why can’t you understand that?!”

His grip on Phuwin’s shoulder tightened.Phuwin winced and said,“Ahh… let go of me! You’re hurting me! And look… everyone’s watching us!”

Pond immediately let go and glanced outside the glass, then dropped into his chair with a thud.

After a few seconds of silence, Pond spoke softly,“Phuwin… come here. Sit.”

Phuwin calmed down and sat on the chair opposite him.

Taking a deep breath, Pond said,“Listen… Namtan is my girlfriend. And I won’t tolerate any kind of disrespect toward her. I’m telling you the truth.”

Phuwin rolled his eyes and said in a cold tone,“So what am I supposed to do about that?”

Pond shook his head in frustration.“Huhh… talking to you is pointless! What you did wasn’t right, Phuwin!”

Phuwin made an adorable face and, in an almost teasing tone, said,“Wow! You’re my husband, but you didn’t want to go out with me… yet the moment she came, you were ready to run with her like, ‘Awwlelele… let’s go out!’ Showing off, huh?”

The way he said it was so cute that Pond couldn’t help but let out a small laugh—but he quickly turned serious and said,“Yeah… I was going to go! What’s it to you?!”

Phuwin replied with a cheeky smile,“Well, I’m not going to let you! Got it?!”

Pond challenged him,“Oh really? Fine then… let’s see how long you can stop me! And damn… you’ve landed me in another mess… now Namtan is mad at me! Damn it!”

Phuwin shrugged his shoulders and said,“And what about me being mad? That doesn’t matter?!”

Pond let out a big sigh and said,“Please, Phuwin… just leave now. Let me do my work.”

Phuwin sat back in his chair with a cute little smile and said,“I’m not going anywhere. Do your work.”

Pond, clearly irritated, just muttered,“Huhh…” and got back to work.

Other Side – Namtan

When Namtan stormed out, she muttered to herself as she walked:

“Huhh… what does that guy even think of himself? And Pond… even he told me to leave! Me? Namtan?! I’ll show him who I am. He’ll come crying to me soon enough, and then I’ll teach him a lesson. Huhh, totally ruined my mood! Anyway… if he’s not coming, then who should I go shopping with today? And whose money should I spend?”

Thinking that, Namtan pulled out her phone and dialed someone:“Baby, let’s go shopping today.”

A voice from the other side replied,“Okay, baby. Where are you? I’ll come pick you up.”

Namtan smiled and said,“Come to my house. I’m here.”

The call ended. Namtan told her driver,“Drive fast to the house. No time to waste, speed up.”

Time Skip – Evening

Pond and Phuwin had returned home. After freshening up, Pond quietly left for Namtan’s house without telling anyone.

Meanwhile, Bright and Win had also come home. After freshening up, Win sat on the sofa to relax. That’s when Bright entered and said:“Hurry up, let’s go.”

Win looked confused,“Huhh, sir… we just got back. Why so soon?”

Bright replied in a chill tone,“Because we need a lot of stuff. The kitchen is empty. If we don’t buy it today, what am I supposed to cook? And what are we going to eat?”

Win said,“Sir, you could just tell someone to get it for you.”

Bright’s tone turned serious,“I don’t trust anyone with my work. I do my own stuff—no matter what it is.”

Win sighed,“Okay fine, but… I want ice cream later.”

Bright smirked,“Okay, I’ll get you one.”

Bright and Win got into Bright’s car and headed to the supermarket. They strolled around in chill mode, picked up all the groceries, and then returned to the car.

Win asked,“Sir, what about the ice cream?”

Bright stopped the car at an ice cream shop, went inside, and came out a few minutes later with only one ice cream in his hand.

He got in and said casually,“Here you go.”

Win, surprised, asked,“What about you… aren’t you having one?”

Bright said calmly,“I’m not in the mood.”

Just then, a guy came carrying boxes. Bright told him through the window,“Put everything in the trunk.”

Once everything was done, they drove back home.

Namtan’s House

Pond arrived at Namtan’s house.

But she wasn’t home. Pond called her once, twice, then repeatedly… but there was no response. Frustrated and tense, he decided to wait. Sitting on the sofa, the only sound he could hear was the ticking of the clock.

Finally, around 7 p.m., Namtan walked in—the sound of her heels echoing in the hall. The moment her eyes fell on Pond, her face hardened with anger.

Pond immediately got up and approached her.Pond: “Namtan… where were you? I called you so many times… I’ve been waiting here forever. Please… I’m sorry… are you still mad?”

Namtan (arms crossed): “Yes, I’m mad! How could you do that, Pond? You should’ve told that guy to leave. But instead, you told me to go!”

Pond (soft tone): “Please, I’m sorry, Namtan… you don’t know how stubborn he is. He wouldn’t leave, no matter what. That’s why I asked you instead. And at the office… I can’t tolerate drama there.”

Namtan: “Pond, but still… I won’t forgive you so easily.”

Pond (gently holding her hand): “Please… forgive me.”

Namtan (sighing): “Okay… fine, I forgive you. But next time, I won’t tolerate this.”

Pond: “It won’t happen again… promise.”

Namtan (smiling slightly): “Alright, stop it now. And yes, tonight you’re having dinner with me. We’re going out, okay?”

Pond (relieved): “Okay.”

They both shared a small smile and started talking casually.

Thanwan Mansion – Hall

Meanwhile, in the hall, Phuwin and Fourth were sipping coffee, watching a comedy movie, laughing together. The maid had just walked out after serving.

Fourth: “Phuwin, where’s Pond?”Phuwin (shrugs): “No idea… he went out somewhere.”Fourth: “Oh… hmm.”

A moment of silence. Then Fourth smiled:Fourth: “So tell me… are you happy with him?”Phuwin (slightly smiling): “Hmm… a lot.”

Fourth chuckled. They shared some light jokes, laughing.

Just then, Gemini walked in.Gemini: “Hey, what’s going on here?”Fourth: “Nothing… just watching a movie. It’s so funny!”Gemini: “Oh… nice.”

Gemini casually sipped his coffee and asked:Gemini: “Phuwin… where’s Pond?”Phuwin: “No idea… he went out somewhere.”Gemini (smirking): “Huhh… he probably didn’t tell you where.”Phuwin (faint smile): “Hmm.”

Gemini: “And Fourth… where are uncle-aunt and mom-dad? Haven’t seen them around.”Fourth: “Phii Gemini, I think they went to a party. They’ll only be back after dinner.”Gemini: “Oh, okay.”

The three of them sat back, enjoying the movie and chatting over coffee.

Late Night

Night fell. Pond and Namtan finished dinner. Pond dropped her home and then drove back to the mansion.

A little later, Pond entered the hall. The three—Phuwin, Fourth, and Gemini—were still sitting on the sofa, chatting, TV on.

Pond walked straight upstairs.

Phuwin: “Fourth, Gemini, I’m going now. You two enjoy the movie.”

Gemini: “Phuwin, dinner?”

Phuwin: “No, I won’t eat. I just had coffee.”

(Phuwin walked upstairs.)

Other Side

Gemini and Fourth were still there.

Gemini: “Fourth, let’s have dinner.”Fourth: “No, phii Gemini, I’m full. I won’t eat.”Gemini: “Okay, I’ll go have dinner then.”Fourth: “Okay.”

(Gemini went to have dinner.)

Phuwin’s Room

Phuwin entered the room. Pond was sitting on the bed.Phuwin sat down next to him and said:

Phuwin: “Pond, let’s have dinner.”Pond: “No, I already ate.”

Phuwin (raising an eyebrow): “What? With who?”Pond (looking at him): “With whoever… what’s it to you?”Phuwin: “Say it straight… you ate with Namtan, didn’t you?”Pond: “Yeah, I did. Now what?”Phuwin: “Hmm… and I was here waiting for you, thinking we’d eat together.”Pond: “Well, now you know. I’m not eating. You go eat.”

(Phuwin stayed silent, then moved to his side of the bed, lay down, and pulled the blanket over himself.)

Pond: “Why are you going to sleep now? Go eat dinner.”(Phuwin didn’t reply.)Pond: “Are you even listening to me?”Phuwin: “I’m not hungry.”

(Pond kept looking at him.)

(Gemini came back after dinner and said to Fourth:)

Gemini: “Fourth, come on, it’s bedtime.”Fourth: “Please, phii Gemini, just a little more. It’s almost over.”Gemini: “Nope, you can watch the rest tomorrow. Come on now.”

(Gemini turned off the TV, grabbed Fourth’s hand, and walked him to his room.)

Gemini: “Now go sleep right away. And yes, I’ll check—so actually sleep, okay?”Fourth: “Hmm, fine, I’m going. Good night, phii Gemini.”Gemini: “Good night, Fourth.”

(Gemini went to his room.)

Back to Phuwin & Pond

Pond: “Phuwin, please go eat something. What’s wrong with you?”Phuwin: “I’m not hungry. I’m not eating.”

(Pond put his phone on the side table, got up from the bed, and walked to Phuwin. He grabbed his hand.)Pond: “Come on, have dinner.”Phuwin (pulling his hand back): “I said I don’t want to… nooo.”

(Pond grabbed his hand again.)Pond: “No, come on. Eat a little. You shouldn’t sleep without dinner. Let’s go, I’ll sit with you.”Phuwin (looking at Pond): “I really don’t want to eat.”Pond: “Do you want me to carry you downstairs now?”Phuwin: “Hmm… do it.”

(Pond looked at his face, then bent down and suddenly lifted him off the bed, carrying him in his arms.)
