𝙩𝙬𝙚𝙡𝙛𝙩𝙝

Zach and Gray stick there heads out the small window and watch Owen from Claire's tablet. I sit with my head in my hands.

If they trust me well enough, hopefully, I could calm them just in case.

But what if I can't. What if I completely fuck up.

I look over at Gray and Zach, they gawk at the tablet screen. I smile before it falls.

Dad.

I grab my phone out of my pocket and immediately dial his number. I call him three times and send him five messages.

MeDad?

Please let me know your okay

Where are you?

I'm with Claire and her nephews. Also with Owen

Dad?

h my God oh my God oh my God.

I begin to imagine what could've happened to him. That's when the engine sputters. The boys sit back, I hear a bang. Zach looks at me and I stand up, he makes Gray sit down when the doors in front of us open.

"Just hold on back there!" Claire yells to us, the man is about to yell something to us when a raptor grabs him by the throat, pulling him to the ground.

"Oh shit-" the van zooms off onto the road and Zach pulls me into his lap, holding onto me tightly as the van drives off faster, the doors continue to be open when a raptor comes from the darkness of the street. It runs right up to the doors, snapping at us.

Charlie...

Gray stands up and grabs a taser from the wall. Zach picks me up and puts me into the seat like it's nothing before standing up to help Gray in a panic. I stare at Charlie in terror.

I've never seen him so angry...

"Turn it on!" Gray yells to Zach as they fumble with it. I clutch onto the sides of the seat, still staring at Charlie as he tries to climb up into the van.

"I don't know how!" Zach protests, they fall onto there knees as the van moves side to side. I'm pulled out of my trance and stand up, falling onto my knees, I grab the taser, turn it on and poke Charlie with it quickly. He roars before tumbling onto the ground behind his. I pant at my anxiety.

"Did you see that!? I can't wait to tell Mom!" Gray cheers sitting back onto the seat. Zach stumbles onto the seat and pulls me back onto his lap hugging me tightly.

"Please, no. Do not tell your mother about that, ever," Claire warns and Zach chuckles in my neck. I chose my eyes, enjoying his embrace when I hear a rev. We all look into the road and see a headlight. Owen rides up behind the van on his motorcycle.

"Owen! Owen!" We all smile at him, he smiles back before speeding up, meeting Claire at her window.

"We gotta get indoors. Follow me!" He yells to Claire. She nods, speeding up to keep with Owen's pace.

"Lowery, we're headed your way," she lets out a breath, "Call in a chopper."

laire parks the car in the entrance of the parks center field. I sit up and Zach grabs mine and Gray's hand before helping us out.

"Come on, come on, come on Zach!" Claire pants, we all run in the same direction as Owen. He holds a large rifle, I gulp. We carry on up the stairs into the maintenance building. The glass elevator opens as soon as we get in.

"Control room that way!" Claire yells to us, pointing forwards.

This is where dad works.

I speed up just a little faster, leaving Zach and Gray's side, ending up next to Owen. He opens the door and we go into the white washed walls room where all the embryos lay in warm shelves made just for them. We stop when Claire does, she looks around when I realize.

"They evacuated the lab," Claire and I say in unison. We look at each other in worry. We all walk into a room where large spines float in some kind of bubbling water. There's shelves by the cabinets and tables, we look through them, seeing all types of reptile's. Zach and Gray stare in awe while Claire and Owen just stare in confusion. I already know whats happening here, dad tells me mostly everything.

We all gasp when we here a large click behind us. We turn around and see guards putting tubes into a foggy suitcase.

"W-what are you doing?" Claire stutters and when the man I punched earlier walks in.

"I'm afraid that's above your pay grade hon," he jokes and Claire clenches her first stepping forward. Zach looks down at me.

"You alright?" He puts a strand of hair behind my ear as I look up at him.

"Yeah, I'm getting there," I lie, knowing how my dad isn't responding.

"Dr. Woo, he works for us," he steps forward in front of us.

"That isn't a real dinosaur," Gray says, staring at one of the computers on the table.

"No, it ain't kid, but somebody's gotta make sure this company has a future. Imagine, that one, fraction of the size, deadly, intelligent, and from the most advanced military technology," he steps forward, staring into Gray's eyes, I pull him to my side, clutching onto his hands that he holds tightly, "A living weapon unlike anything we've ever seen." I look at the screen and see a huge dinosaur, unlike well, anything I've ever seen.

"What the hell is that thing?" I whisper to myself...

Does dad know about this?

"You see, millions of years of evolution... What'd we learn? And Bella," He looks at all of us before locking eyes with me, "your poor old dad, trying to fight with me, knowing im right and always will be right. Such a shame he died such a tragic death," he smiles evilly when my ears begin to ring and vision becomes blurry, "you see nature is the gif-" a roar and a large thump interrupts him, "oh shit!" He steps back, Delta growls at him, backing him up into the wall, "easy, easy boy, easy, hey hey,  w-we're on the same side right!? Right?!" He pants in nervousness before holding his hand up and tries to calm her down. He smiles, chucking when Delta clamps her sharp teeth and incredibly strong jaws onto his hand, he screams before Delta goes in on him. We all run out of the lab.

Zach drags me to keep up with his pace but I feel... Numb? We run to the hallways when Delta jumps out of a glass wall roaring at us. I blink myself out of my mind keeping myself from passing out. We turn around in panic, running towards the exit. Zach pushes on a button to make a hologram appear, slowing Delta down as we escape the building. We run onto the stairs when Blue and Charlie appear in front of us, growling. Delta breaks out the door, squaring us into a small circle. I push Zach, Gray and Claire back while me and Owen try to calm them down.

"So that's how it is huh?" I ask looking at Delta who is currently my favorite, or was. Delta stops in front of me while blue stands in front of Owen. They take deep, quick breathes as we slowly walk towards them. I'm surprisingly calm, I hold my hand out to her and she chomps at me but I don't flinch.

"Easy," Owen says calmly. I reach my hand to the side of her head where the camera is. I heard Owen's speech to Claire about the cameras and how they were being used. Now here we are. Delta's breath calms when I reach for the cameras, I smile softly at Delta, unclipping the cameras band, it falls to the ground as Owen does the same. I sigh and run my hand along Delta's rough, jagged skin. Suddenly a chest aching roar comes before us, we all look to see a huge dinosaur I only saw when we were getting attacked by it. It stomps towards us when the Delta steps in front of me, she looks back, gurgling something, I smile. They all turn back around and roar at the ginormous reptile. It roars back before spinning around it's real swinging at us, slinging Delta into the wall of the building near us. I scream and run to go look at her when Owen grabs my arm yanking me back, he holds me there. Charlie and Blue roar at it before looking at us, we both nod at each other. I try to keep my calm, hot tears rolling down my cheek. We nod again before taking a dip breath a whistling to, 'attack'. They run towards it, jumping into it's side as we run behind it. Gray sees a small booth full of stuffies that we all quickly jump into. Owen stay out, shooting at the Trex looking thing. I sit down, grabbing onto Gray's hand.
