Chapter 23

Trevor's POV

This was it. The moment I was going to tell Emily everything. I was scared Ross would start to get involved, but luckily he stayed behind.

"So..what is it?" Emily asked, seeming anxious.

"Well, this is kind of a long story, so just be prepared." I took a deep breath and told her everything. "Ok, so first off, I'm sorry. For everything. Since the first time we ever filmed together, I've been sorry. That time when I asked you out, I only did it because I thought Alex would approve, since our acting would be more realistic if we went out. The truth is though, I didn't want to go out with you. Its not like you aren't a cool person, but I already have a girlfriend." I took out my favorite picture of Kati and went on with my story. "You and Ross are perfect together and I hope for the best for you two. I'm so sorry I didn't explain before." I finished my story and Emily looked shocked, but in a good way.

"Wow, I had no idea." She said. At first, she didn't have any expression, but then a smile started to creep upon her face. "Thank you for being honest with me."

Then, she hugged me, and it wasn't a sympathy hug. She was truly thankful.

"Well hey there you two." Ross walked over to us, and even though he was smiling at Emily, he glared at me.

"Hey Ross!" Emily exclaimed hooking her arm around his.

"Hey." I looked up at Ross, half smiling.

"Ross, you won't believe what happened." Emily smiled at Ross. Then she looked at me and said, "I'll see you on the tour, Trevor." With that, she walked away with Ross, arm in arm.

Finally, things were looking up.

Ross's POV

This was enough. I needed to see what they were hugging about.

"Dude, you're sure you want to go over there?" Rocky held me back a bit with his hand against my shoulder, giving me a warning look.

"I'm sure." I nodded and walked over to them.

"Well hey there you two." I smiled at Emily but glared at Trevor.

"Hey Ross!" Emily exclaimed, hooking her arm in mine. She was so cute.

"Hey." Trevor said to me.

"Ross, you won't believe what happened." She smiled at me. "I'll see you on the tour, Trevor." She said to Trevor and we started to walk away.

"Things seem to be good between you two." I nodded towards Trevor.

"Definitely. I'll explain all of it back at the house." She smiled at me and kissed my cheek softly. "You know, you can be pretty protective." She gave a small laugh.

"What? Me? No." I said, trying not to smile.

"Um, yeah, you are." Rocky laughed.

"Hey!" I exclaimed.

"Calm down. Its a good thing." Emily winked at me.

"Good." I smiled and kissed the top of her head.

We made our way out to the parking lot and we had to part our ways.

"I'll see you at your house." She gave me a quick hug and walked to her car as I watched her walk away.

"Oh yeah, you're in love." Riker patted my shoulder.

"What?" I was caught off guard.

"Yeah, you heard me. You also know its true." He winked at me and before I could respond, he started walking away.

Oh boy, I'm falling in love.

Emily's POV

Oh Ross.

I honestly love it when he gets all protective over me. It proves to me that he really cares about me.

As I was driving to the Lynch's house, I stopped at a red light. As I looked to my right, I saw a sign in a window. It read: Are you in love? Come on, you know you are.

I quietly laughed to myself and then got serious.

Was I falling in love? No, I couldn't possibly. Its insane. We haven't even gone out for too long. Is it possible? I mean, he's kind, protective, incredible, sweet, amazing, everything. Oh my gosh. I'm falling in love.

"Hey! Get a move on! Its a green light!" Some jerked behind me yelled.

I finally came back to real life and pressed on the gas.

The rest of the way there, all I was thinking about was Ross. How his hair blew in the breeze. How his smile looked just before he was going to laugh that incredible laugh. How he talked when he was really excited about something. Just, everything.

When I pulled into their driveway, I noticed their car which meant they beat me here. I took a deep breath and stepped out of my car.

I brushed my pants off with my hands and when I looked up, I saw Ross walking over to me, a huge smile across his face.

"Hey there beautiful. I was wondering when you would get here." He enveloped me in a huge hug and held me tightly.

"Hey, yeah there was pretty bad traffic." I said, which wasn't a complete lie. I mean, there was traffic, but I caused most of it..

"That's alright, you're here now." He smiled and we walked up to the door, hand in hand.

When we walked into the house, everyone broke out in aww's.

"You guys are too cute." Stormie smiled at us.

"Aw, thanks Mrs. Lynch." I returned the smile.

"Please Emily, call me Stormie." She insisted.

"So, what are we having?" Rocky asked.

"I was thinking pizza." Stormie shrugged.

"Sweet!" Rocky exclaimed.

"Sounds good." I smiled.

We all sat around the tv, just talking and not doing too much.

"So, what did Trevor say?" Ross asked me quietly.

"Oh, that." I said and told him everything Trevor had told me.

"Really? That's actually pretty cool." He nodded.

"I told you we weren't hugging for anything bad." I rolled my eyes playfully.

"Good." He winked at me and I nuzzled up closer to him.

Dinner was incredible. It may have been take out, but it was delicious.

"Thank you so much for dinner, Stormie." I thanked her.

"Oh, no problem sweetie!" She exclaimed.

"Come on, let's go to my room for a bit before you have to leave." Ross whispered in my ear and took my hand to lead me to his room.

Once we were in there, I sat down on his bed as he closed the door. He came over and sat down next to me, wrapped his arm tightly around his shoulder, and I leaned my head against his chest.

"Emily, I have something to tell you." He whispered.

"What is it?" I whispered back.

"I-" He started but was cut off by Rocky storming in.

"Well hey there!" He exclaimed, sitting down next to Ross.

"Oh, hey, Rocky's here!" Ross exclaimed, putting on a fake smile. "You want to not be here?"

"No, I'm ok." He teased. "I'm kidding. I'll give you two some privacy." He winked at me and walked out of the room.

"Anyway, back to the story." He gave a quiet laugh.

"Yes?" I asked.

"Wow, there's no easy way to say this." He looked very nervous. "I, um, I guess I..." He trailed off, looking very anxious.

"Hey, what's the matter? Is everything ok?" I asked. Now I was getting nervous.

"I just.." He looked around, laughing to himself.

"Ross, are you..are you breaking up with me?" I choked at the words.

"Oh, oh gosh no Em. No, never." He said, kissing my lips softly and smiled into the kiss. We stayed like that for a few moments before he pulled away, our faces just inches apart.

"I think..I think I'm.." He trailed off again.

He put his hand at the back of my neck and kissed me again, this time more softly. He smiled at me and took a deep breath.

"I..."
