'Kavi, wait for me ok.' Dani gets up from her seat and follows Gawin.

'Um.'

Gawin walks outside into a hallway where there's no one around. Dani walks up to him.

'What?'

Gawin turns around with a frown.

'Why are u doing this?'

'Do what?' Dani replied tilting her head.

'U know exactly what?' Gawin replies with a  disappointed voice.

'Well what's wrong with that? He's single, my friend is also single and both are all successful people so why not?'

'I understand but u could have consulted with me first. He's my friend not yours.'

'Oh so we talking about urs and mine now right? What about the 'we' thing u would always talked about huh?'

'Dani, is this the right timing for that?'

'Why not!? For me, everything is we but for u, right from the very beginning it's always u and me. U always place me so far from u.'

'U are going off topic.'

'No I'm not. What am I to u Gawin? I'm confused. A friend? A colleague? Or just a toy for u to play with?'

'Dani! Don't say things like that. U are my girlfriend.'

'Oh so u know that?'

'Of course I know. U are not a toy Dani.' Gawin takes a step closer to her and grabs her gently by her arms and looks at her in the eyes.

'U can do anything with me anything u want and I will understand u but when it comes to the people around me I want u to talk to me first if u are to do something. They are not me Danni, they won't understand u.'

'Don't sugarcoat your words Gawin. If u are to scold me then just scold me bluntly. U doing this makes me even more uncomfortable.'

'Dani...'

'Enough Gawin. Everything I do, u are always against it. Never, not even once did u praised me for the things I do except for scolding me consistently.'

'It's because I care for u.'

'Oh really? If u really cared then u wouldn't have let that friend of yours embarrased me in front of my friend like that!'

Gawin is left speechless at this point. He can't bring himself to go against Danni and let her go nor hurt Joss in the slightest.

'See u are quiet. He must be so important to u right? Even more important than me.'

'....' Gawin remains silent and it is the answer.

This silence breaks Dani's heart and she starts to tears up.

' I can't do this no more... Let's take a break.' She says shakily before turning around to leave.

Gawin just watches her as she disappears from his sight. He doesn't want to hold her back again not anymore. He also feels for her but maybe it was not strong enough to hold her back.

Dani walks towards the table crying.

'Dani what happened? Why are u crying?' Kavita asked worried.

'Where's the cheque?'

Kavita hands her the cheque. Dani tears it up into pieces.

'What are u doing? Dani, calm down.'

'We don't need men's money to fill our stomach! We can pay it ourself.' Dani breaks down. 'Ourself....'

Kavita kneels down besides her and pulls her into a hug.

'It's ok Dani. It's ok. I'm here. Cry all u want. I'll be here for u.'

Kavita has been with Dani since a long time ago. Everything Dani goes through, she's always there for her. To Dani she might just be a friend but to Kavita, she's more than that.

When she said to Joss that she'll try her best to make him forget about his love, it's more like she'll try her best to forget her love. She likes Joss she really do but not in a romantic way but just as a person who has a strong presence and well mannered.

Kavita has love Dani since they met. She tried everything to get noticed. She spoils Dani to the point that no one can stands her. She would always say yes to everything Dani says and whatever she does, she would always support her and stands for her.

She even proof to Dani that she's the one who understands her needs the best but still after everything she does she's still invisible in front of her. She's still just a friend, a best friend.

She would always meets up with the man Dani searched for her as she doesn't wants to make her sad. She would also find a little bit of happiness from all this as this means Dani cares for her, worries about her and she thinks of her. Only this is enough to make her feel happy.

She would reject the man if the man came to like her but otherwise she's happy to get rejected.

She wants to be noticed by Dani, always do.  She has also tried to confessed to her a lot of times before but maybe fate wasn't by her side, she always ends up not getting a chance to do so.

Before :

On phone...

'Dani, are u free today?'

'Why?'

'Nothing, just asking if u are free, if u are then we can go to a movie or something.'

'No I don't wanna watch a movie.'

'Then what do u want to do?'

'I want to sleep.'

'Oh then can I come over? Then we can sleep together. I'll even read u ur favourite story. How's that?'

'For real!' Dani gets excited over the phone.

'Um...'

'Then come quick.'

Kavita and Dani are on the bed. Kavita is reading a story to Dani and Dani is slowly drifting to sleep all cuddle up against Kavita.

'And they live happily ever after....' Kavita finished the story and looks down at the woman sleeping peacefully all cuddled up against her.

'Silly girl.' Kavita smiles and slowly tugs a strand of hair from the sleeping woman's face and tug it behind her ear. She pulls the blanket up a little more covering Dani upto her neck.

'I was thinking of asking u to be my girlfriend today. I had already gathered up the courage today. Guess I should just wait for next time again right?'

Kavita place a soft kiss on Dani's temple and she also slowly lies down her body fully, slowly tapping Dani on her back and looking at her sleeping face.

'I love u.' She whispers, her words slowly disappearing into the thin air with no one listening to it other than herself.

....

No matter how spoiled Dani is, no matter what she does, she couldn't stop loving her. She loves her for who she was, is and will be.

For Kavita, love is Dani only. Everything starts with Dani and ends with her. If it's not for her, Kavita would have already ended her life a long back.
