Chapter 27: Beca's Return

16:21, 6 July 2017

A/N: Hey guys. I honestly don't know how I feel about this chapter. When I was writing it I seemed to be writing it in some kind of a haze. It was very odd. Like I knew what I was writing but at the same time I didn't. Anyways, now you know that I'm crazy here is chapter 27 for your enjoyment.

-Bella House, Living Room-

Chloe automatically rushed to her girlfriend's side and wrapped her in a hug. "Beca? Why are you here? You weren't supposed to be released until later today or tomorrow at the latest. Is everything okay?"

"Well if any of you aca-bitches answered your phones then you'd know, wouldn't you?" The brunette huffed, squirming out of the hug. She couldn't help being in a bad mood. Beca was hoping to have Chloe meet her at the hospital and help her home. Her body was now aching all over from the uncomfortable and bumpy taxi ride.

"Beca..." Chloe began, she turned the brunette towards her and tilted her head up so she could look at her. "We're sorry. We were watching a movie so our phones were on silent and then something happened so we just forgot. Please baby, I'm sorry. Don't stay mad. Oh, I'm so glad you're home." She crushed Beca into another hug and this time the brunette couldn't stop herself from crying out in pain.

"Red, my ribs. Stop... Hugging." Beca cried out as Chloe realised and instantly let go of her girlfriend.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry Beca! I didn't mean to hurt you. Come on, sit down and we'll fill you in on what's been happening whilst you were away." The ginger linked her fingers with Beca's and led them to the sofa where Chloe sat down but just as Beca was about to sit next to her the redhead pulled her down so she landed on her lap. "I haven't been able to hold you in so long; you are NOT sitting next to me." The ginger let off a light happy giggle as she snaked her arms around Beca's petite waist. Beca didn't jump at the touch instead she melted into the hold. She was glad to be with Chloe again.

"Alright girl, let's update you!" Cynthia-Rose announced.

Half an hour later the Bella's had all updated Beca on what had been going on. "So, I was just about to tell the girls what happened the night of the hood party." Aubrey was now feeling more confident in explaining what happened to the Bella's and if she was being honest with herself now she just wanted to get it over with.

"The night of the hood party was crazy. I mean I don't usually get drunk, never mind hooking up with guys. Anyways, this guy turned out to be someone you know. It was Jesse." Aubrey let the last sentence hang in the air whilst she waited for the girls to start jumping all over her but none of them did.

"Urm Bree, we already kinda knew that..." Fat Amy began whilst the other girls nodded around her. "I mean you was sneaking around, you were always on your phone and what makes you think we didn't follow you to the ice cream parlour when you went out the other night?" The Australian began. "I mean you can't hide anything from us aca-bitches."

"Yeah, I mean at first was we annoyed?" Stacie added on, "A little bit."

"But then I convinced them that you must obviously feel something deep for this guy as you all gave us that massive legendary lecture at the beginning of the year." Jessica continued.

"In the end we decided that you'd tell us eventually and that when you did we'd be cool with it." Ashley concluded.

Aubrey couldn't believe what she was hearing. 'They knew?!' "Oh my god..." She gasped out. She then grabbed a pillow and threw it at the girls, it bounced off Denise and hit Lily on the side of her head before landing on Jessica's lap. "You knew and you didn't tell me? You let me stand up here and make a complete mess of myself."

"Well, it's your fault you didn't think we'd take it well girl. I mean even though we don't say it that often we do love one another." Cynthia-Rose said.

"Excuse me? Are we just going to ignore that fact that she's dating a treble?" Beca yelled from Chloe's lap.

"Beca-" Aubrey began but was soon cut off.

"No, when I first came into this group you gave us this massive lecture about never getting treble boned and then when you found out about me and Chloe you were so distant and off with her it was insane. I didn't care that you were being rude to me but the way you were treating Chloe made me so mad. Yes, you eventually realise I wasn't going to dump her on the curb but still dude!" The yelling was causing Beca so much pain but she couldn't help it.

"I know, what I did was wrong and believe me if I could go back and change it I would. I'm sorry Beca." Aubrey looked down at the brunette and offered a smile.

"Beca, she's in love. I mean come on, you can't hate the girl for that." Denise persuaded Beca.

"I know she is but that doesn't make what she did right." Beca crossed her arms over her chest and huffed again, which made Chloe giggle into her back slight. 'She so god damn cute when she's mad', the ginger secretly thought to herself.

"Anyways, it doesn't matter because he's never going to speak to me again. I mean when I met him last night I called off ever speaking to him again. I was worried about what you guys would say, I was afraid of losing you." Beca's face softened at Aubrey's confession. "I told him that since we were in rival A Capella groups we couldn't see each other anymore and then I walked out. So, looks like you won Mitchell." Aubrey casted a quick look to Beca before stalking off to the kitchen in search of some comfort food.

The girls all looked around awkwardly before Beca slowly got up and made her way to the kitchen, the rest of the girls stayed behind staring at their shoes to give the two some space.

Aubrey was stood leaning against the kitchen top with a tub of triple chocolate ice cream in one hand and a large spoon in the other and a slight chocolate beard starting to form on her face.

"Look, Aubrey, I'm sorry I was so harsh on you back there... You know I'm not good with feelings and things like that but I just want to say that I'm really sorry about what happened at the shop. I mean, just because you are in rival a capella groups doesn't mean they're all out to steal our title and treble bone us, right? Hey, come on. I think we need to go win your man back because if he reduces you to eating triple chocolate chip ice cream then he must be special." The brunette offered a simple smile to the taller woman.

Aubrey had been so touched by Beca's words that she hugged her, gently as not to cause her too much pain. "Thank you, Beca. That means a lot but it's over. He's never going to speak to me again."

"And that's where you girlfriends come into play!" The ginger squeaked as the rest of the girls slowly entered the kitchen, all with mischievous looks on their faces.
