-Beca's Room at the Hospital-
Beca's eyes opened in a slow painful motion, her every muscle ached. Her whole body was screaming with pain. 'What the hell happened?' She thought to herself. When she managed to open her eyes the bright light soon attacked her vision forcing her to clamp her eyes tightly shut.
There must have been someone in the room with her because Beca soon heard a voice, which she didn't recognise, addressing her. "Ah, Miss Mitchell. Good morning!" As much as Beca didn't want to she reluctantly opened her eyes again, slower than before as to get her eyes used to the blinding light. Beca's surroundings were unfamiliar to her; she wasn't in her dorm room or the Bella house. 'Where the hell am I?' She asked herself again. Her eyes then landed on a doctor, he wore a long white coat, he held a clipboard in his hand and a pair of stethoscopes were wrapped around his neck. Beca noticed the doctor had neat black hair which was accompanied with a fine, kind face. This didn't make Beca any happier about the man being near her. 'Why the hell is there a doctor in my room?' She asked herself. Beca had never felt so lost in her life.
"Who are you? Where am I? What happened?" Again, Beca had to wince in pain. 'God, it even hurts to speak. Is there anything I can do?' The brunette asked herself.
"Everything is fine Miss Mitchell-"
Beca cut the man off before he could continue. "It's Beca, not Miss Mitchell. Geez."
The doctor chuckled to himself, "It's nice to see you still have some fire left in you." He offered her a smile but Beca just gave a scowl back. She was not in the mood for small talk. "I am your doctor, doctor Francis. You were brought in yesterday by an ambulance as you'd taken a heavy beating to your face and body. There is no cause for alarm Miss Mi- Beca" He quickly corrected himself when he saw Beca's scowl deepen. He cleared his throat and continued. "It seems you were walking to your dorm last night when someone attacked you on Campus. I'm sorry to say we don't know who, but your dad and friends came with you as you were brought in." He made a few marks on the clipboard before placing it back in his holder and smiling again at Beca.
"Okay, so I'm in a hospital. Brilliant. Do you know when my friends are gonna be back? Wait, what time is it?" Beca tried to look around for a clock but any movements caused her to wince even more in pain. "Jesus Christ!" She complained to herself.
"Yes, you will be receiving some difficulty with movement at this moment in time but after a couple of weeks of rest you should start to feel better. It is currently 10:15am and visiting hours are between 11am-4pm and then 6pm-8pm, so your friends will be along then. Now, what do you want for breakfast?"

-Bella House-
Chloe hadn't slept all night, the bags under her eyes were proof of this. She poured herself about the eighth cup of coffee she'd had the pleasure of drinking this morning as she heard everyone around her pottering about. She didn't feel like herself, Chloe couldn't concentrate on anything. Her mind was on Beca at the hospital all alone and it pained her.
"Chlo, come on you need to get some rest." Stacie took the mug of coffee out of Chloe's sleep deprived hands and started to lead her towards the stairs. Chloe shrugged her off when she realised what was happening.
"No! I need to get ready. Yes, ready. I need to see Beca. The visiting hours are 11-4 and I need to be there to see her. Why don't you get that?" Chloe erupted at Stacie. She instantly regretted it as she knew Stacie was only trying to be helpful. "Look Stace, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to snap at you. I know I am tired and I know I look a mess but I couldn't sleep last night. I just couldn't. I need to see Beca, I need to know she's okay."
Stacie just hugged the ginger knowing how much this waiting was killing the brunette's girlfriend. "Don't worry, we'll be there in no time."
Just then Stacie and Chloe heard Aubrey barking orders from the sitting room. "Come on girls, we need to get going. The hospital opens soon." She walked into the hallway and passed a slice of buttered toast to Chloe. "Eat this." She then popped it into the gingers mouth before she could protest. "You better eat it all Pumpkin because I know you haven't slept and all you've done is drink coffee. If you don't eat it, I will be forced to tell Beca and you know she won't be very happy about that." Aubrey gave her best friend a wink before the girls slowly filtered out of the house and back into the minivan.
Just as Aubrey was sitting down in her seat her phone vibrated in her back pocket. She placed her jacket down on the seat next to her before retrieving the phone and looking at the message: Hey, I know now might not be the right time to see you but I was wondering if you wanted to meet up later? I need to talk to you about something. If you can't then that's cool, I know how busy you are. Let me know anyways – J
Aubrey blushed slightly at the message but with the other girls settling themselves onto the bus none of them noticed.
"Let's crush this." Fat Amy called as she started the van and the Bella's were off. "Beca 'Effin Mitchell here we come!"
