TWENTY THREE

Woo-bin:

Just like last time,no one dared to question us as we made our way through the hospital door, even if they had,I would've chopped their head off. I'm in a  bloody damn depressing situation.

They took Arya to a surgery room and asked us to stay out.

"Ji-hoo! Should we inform Jo about Arya?" I asked as we stayed outside the surgery room. They asked us to stay in waiting room but we refused to,so they brought us two chairs.

"I don't know. I think it would be better if we inform after hearing from doctor because I'm in no position to explain." Ji-hoo said looking down at the floor as tears escaped his eyes which made me teary too.

"Okay. I'll inform the guys." I quickly made calls to Jun-pyo and Yi-jung and asked them to hurry up to the hospital and asked Jun-pyo not to utter a word to Jo.

The guys got here in twenty minutes,Jun-pyo asked me hell lot of questions and Yi-jung stayed silent, obviously worried about Arya. I even told them about her confession and got beaten up by Jun-pyo for breaking her heart several times. He told me everything, the reason why they left Jeju island without us,why she ignored me for the first few days after our return from Jeju island and she had cried when I kissed some random bitch who came to my house the other day. I couldn't take it,my heart might explode any moment.

"Can any one of you follow me to my room?" Doctor asked us as he came out of the surgery room. Is she okay?

I wanted to go but the guys might think the same way too so I looked at them,Jun-pyo didn't wanna hear whatever the doc is gonna say that's other than 'She is completely alright', Yi-jung didn't talk a word yet and Ji-hoo gestured me to go. I followed him to his room.

"Are you her relative or something?" Doc asked me after settling down in his room.

"Friends. Now tell me about her. Is she okay?" I made it to the point but I was shivering internally.

"Well,I don't wanna elaborate on it. I've done my best,there's a hairline fracture in her hip bone and she had hurt her head really bad. She's running out of time. I can confirm her condition only if she could make it through an hour of observation." He finished. I couldn't talk since his words 'she is running out of time' stabbed me right through my heart.

"Ca-can I se-see her?" I stuttered.

"Yeah,but don't disturb her in any way." He warned me as I already started making my way out of his room.

I walked fast and got to the guys.

"She's been shifted to ICU. Woo-bin just tell us what the fuck is going on." Jun-pyo snarled at me. I cannot lie to them but I can hide few things so I just told them about the fracture and head injury.

"Shall we go see her?"Finally Yi-jung spoke up.

"Yeah,we can." I said.

We walked through the twin door that said the scary three letters 'ICU'.

She laid under the covers of the bed with a big patch on her head,many wires connected to her body and an oxygen tube attached to her nose.

Jun-pyo broke down in tears looking at her. We all stood there for a while and finally decided to move out as we couldn't see her in this state but I wanted to stay back and tell her how I feel about her because only I know that she may or may not make it.

"Jun-pyo inform Jo." I said as the guys left without asking a word.

I sat next to her bed and held her free hand,that had no wires or tubes.

"Arya! Please don't die. Remember the first day we met,Jun-pyo made me drop you at your house,I did feel something the moment you stepped in my car,then,whenever I drive past your house,I would stop by,stare at your window. I used to think about you very frequently which never happened with any other girl till now. Back in Jeju island, I never did anything with those girls as you had misunderstood. I did realize that you were ignoring me after returning from Jeju island. I truly believed when Jun-pyo said that he loved you and couldn't handle it at all,that's why I kissed that girl to get over you but what Yi-jung did was so unexpected,I just wanted to push him away and say that you were my girl. I heard it from Jun-pyo that they were messing around with me and told that you like me which I didn't quite believe at first but I wished to confess to you soon. I really didn't expect such a thing to happen." I paused and kissed her hand.

"Arya,I love you so much. Please don't leave me. Marry me,just like Brain had asked you to. I'll never break your heart,I promise." I felt the liquid from my eyes running down my face.

Then I heard some beeping sound from one of the machine,which made a nurse to rush inside the room. She asked me to leave immediately and also told me that we are losing her already.
