Another royal baby! The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announce third pregnancy

They shared a stunning picture to announce the news

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have revealed that they are expecting their third child with a beautiful picture on social media.

The statement reads: "Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have the great pleasure of announcing that they are expecting their third child.

'We are happy and expectant and look forward to welcoming our third child, a sibling to Prince Alastair and Prince Harrison. A new little member of our family,' said The Duke and Duchess of Sussex."

It continued: "Princess Sofia, Duchess of Sussex is well and the birth is expected at the turn of Spring 2021."

The announcement came alongside a beautiful black and white photograph of the royal couple, who posed with their arms around each other in front of a mirror. Unsurprisingly, the post has already been inundated with posts of congratulations from royal fans around the world.

The royal couple join cousin Zara and Mike Tindall in announcing their royal pregnancy, and of course another royal baby is on the way in early 2021, with  cousin Princess Eugenie expecting, too.

Prince Harry and Princess Sofia already share two children together, Prince Alastair and Prince Harrison. The couple celebrated their third wedding anniversary in May this year.

Princess Sofia, Duchess of Sussex attends digital graduation ceremony for nursing students

Princess Sofia, Duchess of Sussex attended the digital graduation ceremony for nursing students on Friday, 5 February. The heavily pregnant Princess delivered remarks to congratulate the graduates during the online ceremony.

The Princess concluded by wishing the graduates good luck and telling them to "feel the pride within you."

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex Surprise a Virtual Poetry Class: 'It Was Pretty Surreal'

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared some of their favorite lines of poetry

Princess Sofia and Prince Harry are talking poetry!

The couple made a surprise appearance, joining a virtual poetry class with Get Lit, an organization that promotes literacy and empowers young people through poetry.

"Guess who surprised our poetry class this weekend?! It was the best weekend EVER!" the organization captioned a screenshot of the duo joining their Zoom call — with some shocked reactions from other participants. "Prince Harry and Princess Sofia, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, were magic and kind and interested in poetry!"

Get Lit said that Princess Sofia shared some of her favorite lines of poems and dubbed the it "most epic experience in Get Lit history!!!"

Teacher Mason Granger shared on Instagram why Princess Sofia and Prince Harry, joined the class.

"The root of them deciding to come is because at some point in their lives, they were moved by a poem," he said. "And whoever wrote that poem at some point thought to themselves, 'Does this even matter? Is anyone even listening?' And they shared it anyway."

He continued, "Fast forward ripple ripple ripple and these kids get a surprise 45 minute chat with the Prince Harry and Princess Sofia. It was pretty surreal."

Granger said that the kids were able to share poems and ask Sofia and Harry questions. He even commented that the couple took the time to "actually read and learned the kids bios I'd sent earlier."

Get Lit was founded in 2006 after Diane Luby Lane and the curriculum has expanded to over 100 schools throughout California as well as being sold to schools around the world.

Royal Baby Alert! The Duke and Duchess of Sussex Welcome Third Child — Another Boy!

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are officially parents of three boys!

The son of Prince of Wales and his wife welcomed their third child, a baby boy, on Friday at St Mary's Hospital in London. That makes their sons, 4-year-old Prince Alistair and 3-year-old Prince Harrison, big brothers!

"We are so happy and grateful to be able to welcome our third son to our family. Sofia and I, and his two big brothers, have all been longing for this day. And now we are looking forward to getting to know this new little member of our family," said Prince Harry in a statement.

A name for the baby boy has not yet been announced.

The new baby is ninth in line to the British throne and the twelfth grandchild for Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.

His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are about to become a family of six!

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expecting their fourth child together, the couple announced on Tuesday.

"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their fourth child," a spokesperson for the couple told PEOPLE.

Sofia and Harry announced their pregnancy news with a stunning black-and-white photo that was taken by longtime photographer, Misan Harriman. A smiling Harry looks lovingly at Sofia, who cradles her baby bump as she rests in his lap while surrounded by their three sons.

Her Royal Highness Princess Sofia, Duchess of Sussex was safely delivered of a daughter today, 12th June 2023, at 0855hrs at St Mary's Hospital. The Duke of Sussex was present.

The baby weighs 8lbs 1oz.

Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.
