11:09, 30 April 2023I wake up to his arms wrapped around me, one around my waist and the other softly around my neck. He's so close to me that his arm breath collides against the exposed skin of my shoulder, and I can feel him breathing peacefully against my back.
I might be moving more than I should though, because I hear him groaning, just to hold me closer to him -which I thought it wouldn't be possible at all.
—You can't go —he says with his raspy voice—. Just five minutes more.
—Who said I'm going somewhere? —I laugh.
I roll on the bed, with him opening his arms a little so I can move with no problems. I instantly smile when I set my eyes on him, I couldn't help it. I just need to look at him once, with his eyes shining brighter than the sun light that comes through his windows, to be a giggling and find me unable to keep my hands to myself.
—You look beautiful in the mornings —he whisper, playing with the hair on my nape.
—It actually might be because of the amazing night I had thanks to a certain someone —my fingertips trace thin lines across his upper arm.
—Really? —he raises one of his eyebrows— Somebody should give him an award then.
I hide my face on his neck, while laughing. What he said isn't even that funny, but he got me giggling since I woke up, smiling for no other reason than just waking up to him.
—I meant what I said last night.
I move back, just to look at his face and see that scrunch on his nose has disappeared. Jungkook is still smiling though, not with his lips, but those wrinkles at the corner of his eyes and the way they close lightly just show he's still smiling through them.
—I don't want you to see anyone else, I don't want other guys to see what I see —he shakes his head—. I didn't say it because I wanted to cum, or because I wanted to keep fucking you last night. I really meant it.
I'm lost in his eyes for a long minute, seeing nothing but honesty in them.
—Now? Seriously? —I sit on the bed— I matched with a really cute guy on Tinder, and I was going to ask him out.
The glimpse of the smile I've been trying hard to hide after his confession gives away I'm joking. I wish I was a better liar and not so easy to read, because it'd have been funny to just see his reaction if he had thought it was real.
—You already have a cute guy right here —he points to his body—. Screw that other loser, he ain't getting my girl. Nobody is getting my girl, just me.
He wraps his arms around me, pulling me back to the bed under his embrace. I fall on top of him, both of my hands digging on his hair while I'm starting to feel my cheeks are a little bit too stretched that it's starting to hurt.
—So... what are we? —I dare to ask.
—What if —he tilts his head— we are just two people that like each other and see where this goes?
—I like that —I nod.
It's not like I expected him to say we are dating already. Just trying things out, and expecting the best out of this is the best way to describe what we want to have. At least for now.
I rub my lips on his, just before I kiss him deeply. It's not a chaste and pure kiss, because we both know where it'll lead. But the intimacy surrounding it, how we are both naked in his bed after he decided to turn things for the better for us, is better than any sex and just reminds me how far we've come just the two of us.
Just three months ago, he wouldn't let anyone stay in his house, and even less spend the night with him in his bed. Yet here we are.
—You aren't working today? —I keep giving him small kisses.
—Only in the afternoon. Mark knew Soo would want to celebrate your first day in the gallery, so he closed it in the morning —he playfully bites my lip—. So I'm all yours until four. What about you?
—Jin wanted to throw a second exposition for the same artist later today —I smile on his lips when he pinches my side—. So I'm all yours until three.
—That sounds too tempting, cocktease —he slides his fingertips through my spine.
I hum on his mouth, before we start kissing again. Starting like the first time we kissed this morning, but slowly turning into a heated make out session that would've left us breathless if it weren't for the door bell.
Jungkook simply groans, pulling me deeper into the kiss once it goes a few seconds without sounding.
—What if it's important?
—They will knock again —he assures me.
His lips go down my throat, leaving a trail of wet kisses down my neck until the door bell starts sounding again, followed by some knocks.
—This can't be happening now —he whines, making me laugh.
I move to the side, covering myself with the sheets again as I see him putting on some boxers and baggy gym pants.
—Will you open like this?
—Scared that someone could take me away from you? —he teases.
I roll my eyes at him, just to get a chuckle as an answer before he heads outside, closing the door behind me. At first it's all silent, but not too long after I hear a feminine voice on the other side. I don't really have time to overthink, because not too long after I can hear a masculine voice, that's not Jungkook's, joining the conversation.
They keep talking to each other until suddenly the door opens, and he shows up with a nervous face, biting his lip and almost making his lip ring disappear in his mouth, while he holds my clothes and heels in his hands.
—What? —I ask, as I see him closing the door behind him.
—My parents are here —he hands me my things.
Yup. Talk about having bad luck and my name will show up first on the searching bar.
—I tried to convince them to leave, but they said they wanted to spend some time with me —he puts a t-shirt on—. Apparently Soo told them I wasn't doing too great, and now they're worried.
—What are we doing now? —I start to get dressed— Should I wait here until they leave?
—Wait here? —he frowns— Hiding?
—Or I could pop up with the dress I wore last night, so they know I fucked their son —I try to keep my voice as low as possible, but panic is making it hard.
—As if they believed for a moment that I'm still a virgin —he murmurs—. Just get some of my clothes, have lunch with us, and I'll drive you home.
Although I love the fact that he thought about introducing me to his parents, I think it might be too early. I know he already met mine, but the situation was completely different, and he introduced himself as my friend -not a guy I slept with the previous night, and with whom I decided to be exclusive just five minutes ago.
—I know you mean well, but I don't think... I'm not sure... —I sigh.
—You aren't ready —he finishes for me.
—Yeah —I confess—. I just don't think this is the best way to meet them.
—Okay —he walks to me.
He holds the part of my dress under the armpit so he can zip it. Cupping my face with his two hands, Jungkook gives me a short kiss on the lips.
—I'll distract them, so you can sneak outside —he gives me a peck on my nose.
He leaves the room, leaving the door half open so I can peek through it while he guides his parents towards the kitchen. As soon as I see the chance, I run towards the door, making sure I leave nothing behind before I cross the main door. My heart keeps beating fast against my chance, when I still thought I was in danger of being caught in that... situation.
Instead of getting the bus, I choose it's better to just call a cab -at least for today-, so I get home fast. While I'm still downstairs, waiting for my ride, I get a text. Unconsciously, I smile when I see his nickname on my screen.
Asshole: Send a text when you get home
Asshole: Or I'll show up to make sure you arrived well
Me: Okay, dad

I'm planning on going earlier to the gallery just to rewash some of the things I had to learn for last night, just to find that Jin is already here.
—Why are you so early? —he looks at me over his glasses.
—Hi —I greet the two people that are hanging around, and head to my new boss—. I wanted to go over a few things. Yesterday I went blank a few times and had to improvise. I don't want it to happen again.
—Well, it was your first day. Don't be so harsh on yourself —he tries to cheer me up—. You did quite good anyway.
Honestly, I don't know if he's doing it because I'm new in all of this, or because he's genuinely like that with everybody. Although considering his former art dealer was as unexperienced as I am, I'll assume he's just like this with everyone.
Later in the evening, Jin takes me to the pub near the gallery to celebrate the success this second day has been. I managed to sell more drawings than yesterday, more new people came -along with familiar faces I got to see last night.
When we get to the pub, I can't help but blush as I realize it's the same place where I met Jungkook -witht hat horrible first encounter.
—The bar you work in is the closest to my house —he sighs—, but this one is amazing. I love coming here whenever I have the chance.
—I know —I nod—. I mean, I didn't know you came here, I know it's a great place —I clear up—. I came here once few months ago.
While I'm looking around the place, I come across someone I know. He raises his eyebrows surprised, singing my name from behind the counter and making his way to our table so he can greet me properly.
—I didn't expect to see you here —Tae smiles.
—I came with my boss —I point to Jin, who grimaces at me introducing him like that—. How are you doing?
—I'm doing great —he nods—. What can I get for you?
—What do you recommend?
—My Wine Spritzer is mind-blowing.
—Then I'll get that —I smile at him.
—You want the same as usual? —he looks at Jin.
—Yup, thanks.
Although we keep talking about work and future projects -and I'm happy that he's talking about me long term-, I can't help but think this is a bit weird, especially considering the way we met each other for the first time while he was trying to flirt with me.
—Is there something wrong? —he frowns when I look up at him— You spaced out.
—Yeah, I'm okay —I give a sip to my drink.
—I didn't want to put pressure on you —he tries to make me feel better about it—. I just wanted to let you know all the plans I had, and maybe got too excited.
—No, seriously, it's okay —I try to comfort him—. I just think this is a bit... new? I'm not used to my bosses inviting me for a drink after work.
—Well, you did a good job today, and yesterday. It just seemed fair —he shrugs.
—But isn't this a bit too friendly?
His frown deepens as I say that, but I think he finally understand what I'm trying to say by the way he smirks.
—You caught me —he sighs—. I was trying to impress you so you'd end spending the night with me.
I squint my eyes at him. Although the back of my brain panics over it, the glimpse of a playful smile on his face gives out he's just messing with me. Jin then leans a bit forward to whisper the clearest statement he can.
—If I wanted to hook up with you, you wouldn't be working for me in the first place. My income depends on you, and I'm not risking my ass on losing a good art dealer because of a one night stand —he goes back to sitting correctly in his chair—. Don't understimate yourself. We met the way we did, but that doesn't change the fact that you're a good worker.
—I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you.
—You didn't offend me —he scoffs—. You offended yourself by thinking all of this is because of sex and not because of your work.
After this, the environment seems a bit lighter. I definitely don't feel the pressure of having to stop him at some point, because there isn't anything to stop. I shouldn't even have thought of him that way in the first place, but it's impossible to guess people's intentions by just looking at them. So I think it was good we cleared it out.
But even if things in our table are going well, I keep feeling a pair of eyes drilling my temple. I look up curious to what, or who, is causing it, just to meet a pair of brown eyes looking in our direction. The girl behind the counter keeps sending deathly looks my way. I can't guess why she would be doing that, so I end up guessing it's because of Jin?
Somebody should tell her to calm down though. I have a whole pack, who has been teasing me all evening via texts, waiting for me at home.

The next day, Jin greets me with a smile after he finally has closed the door, to wish me a good night, and bends when he sees Jungkook resting on his motorbike while he waits for me. He replies the same way, giving him a small smile before his eyes land on me back again.
—Are you planning on dropping the studio to become an Uber driver?
—Yesterday I didn't come —he tries to minimize what I'm saying, while he moves his hand in the air so I get closer to him.
—Wow, is that a new record?
—That I'm not planning on breaking, cocktease.
When I'm finally where he wanted me to be, he pulls me closer for a kiss. One that I break when I feel his hands lowering on my back, because I'm dying to get home and get comfortable.
—I don't know if I should feel offended about that —Jungkook jokes, starting the engine again.
—Maybe —I wrap my arms around his waist—. I prefer taking my shoes off sooner than keep kissing you. Priorities.
I see him smirk through the corner of my eyes when I move so I can kiss the side of his neck, before he starts driving to his home.
When we got there, none of us were actually planning on spending the night watching movies -basically, because even if I'm free tomorrow, he's not. But here we are, lying on his couch, cuddling next to each other while we watch Shrek 2.
—Would you still like me if I were an ogre?
I hold back my laugh to the question. I find it both endearing and funny, because I didn't expect him to ask something like that.
Jungkook looks down at me, his fingers still play with my hair while he waits for the answer. How could someone not like him?
—You're already an ogre, and I haven't moved an inch —I tease, trying my hardest to keep my face straight—. Does that answer your question?
He whines my name, moving back a little so he can look at my face better -his arms still wrapped around my body as if I was planning to run away at any time. I start laughing when I see his expression, eyebrows slightly furrowed and his lips pouting while he complains.
—What? You asked —I giggle—. Shouldn't you feel touched by my words?
—Yeah, it's the most beautiful thing someone has ever said —he shakes his head—. I'm so disappointed, cocktease —he presses his lips together, although I can see that smile attempting to break his serious expression.
He moves his body, so his head now rests on my breasts and my arms are now the ones wrapped around him. I play with his hair, feeling some type of way as he tries to pull me closer, although there's no way we can get any closer than this.
—What about you? —he hums at my question— Would you like me if I was an ogre?
—I'd like you in every shape and form, to be honest —he answers calmly—. You make it so easy... Before I could realize, I was too down into the rabbit hole —he stays quiet for a few seconds—. And that's what you were supposed to say.
—Asshole —I roll my eyes.
—What? —he lifts his head, giving me a funny look—. I didn't say I don't feel that way, I do —he shrugs.
The movie comes to an end, although these past thirty minutes we've barely paid any attention to it, because we've been so busy teasing each other to focus on anything else. Jungkook gets up first, and the moment I get up in front of him, he bends just to be able to lift my body over his shoulder.
—The ogre is taking you to bed.
—You're never letting this go, aren't you? —I ask, in between cackles.
—Nope.
