C H A P T E R 11

'The music is so loud in here.' Tenten thought as she entered the building. She noticed someone in particular standing out. She walked closer and noticed it was Neji. "Neji over her!" She yelled trying to push her way through the crowds. Neji noticed and started walking towards her. "Glad that you could come." Tenten said loudly so he could hear her. "You look stunning tonight Tenten." Neji told her. It was dark, so Neji couldn't see Tenten blush. "Follow me." Neji said as he grabbed Tenten's hand. They had forgotten about the Konoha 12.

He led her outside to the balcony letting go of her hand. The gentle breeze blew Tenten's hair, and her eyes sparkled like shining diamond from the moonlight. "Neji?" Tenten asked, snapping away Neji's thought. "The view is dazzling and lively tonight." Neji said, looking at the view. "It sure is." Tenten said. "I-" They both said at the same time. "Sorry, you can go first." Neji said quickly. "Neji I love you, I fell in love with you ever since we first met. It's understandable if you like someone else..." Tenten said quickly, not looking back at Neji. "I love you too, Tenten. I've been waiting to confess. No one has ever made me feel this way before, I don't know when I started having feelings for you but I knew I fell in love with you. I'm so glad to be placed in the same team as you." Neji said, holding Tenten's hand. "Will you be my girlfriend?" Tenten felt like she was the happiest girl on Earth. "Of course!" She said hugging him. They heard giggling and they saw their friends spying on them. "What a drag, after such a long time you two finally confessed. Congrats you two." Shikamaru said clapping. Neji and Tenten smiled at each other and headed back in.

'This is the best day ever.' Tenten thought to herself as she was sitting down next to Neji. They were talking and he had his arm around Tenten so other guys knew not to ask her out. Kaiya was also there but no one paid attention to it. She was holding her fist tightly trying to calm down. "What's up with you?" Nikushimi asked giving her a drink. "Their dating now that's what." She said, grasping the drink tightly. "Here listen, this is the plan...." Nikushima said, smirking. "Thanks, I knew I could count on you." Kaiya said as she took a sip of whiskey.

"Hi Tenten, and Neji-kun, " Kaiya said as she came over sitting next to Tenten. "Can I help you?" Tenten slowly asked suspiciously. "Can I speak to you privately." Kaiya smiled innocently. "You can just tell me here." Tenten said, as she and Neji were holding hands. "But it's important... It's about training." Kaiya said. "We can talk about it next time." Tenten said. "Please." Kaiya whined. "Fine." Tenten sighed. "Yay! Let's go get a drink. Sorry Neji Cya!" Kaiya cheerfully got up. Before they left Tenten kissed him on the cheek in front of Kaiya. Her face showed in disgust and quickly covered it up, and Neji slightly blushed.

"Two bourbons." Kaiya said as she went up to the bar. "No thanks-". "Please I want to apologize for how I was acting before." Kaiya interrupted her. "Let me apologize by buying you a drink." Tenten thanked her. 'What is her motive, is this another one of her plans?' Tenten was too deep into thought and Kaiya gave her the drink. "Oh um thanks." Tenten said as she took a sip of bourbon. Another guy sat next to her. 'He looks fine, he could get any girl he wants. What the heck am I thinking.' Tenten thought as she was looking at him, that's when it hits her. "Wait, you're the person that I bumped into today!" Tenten was surprised. "Glad that you noticed it." He smiled. "Do you want a drink? I'll buy you it as a way to apologize." Tenten asked. "It's fine, maybe you can buy me dinner." Nikushima moved closer to her. They were almost touching. Tenten moved a tiny bit back. "Umm, yea sure haha..." Her head started to feel dizzy. 'Kaiya! She probably spiked the drink. I knew I shouldn't have trusted her.' Tenten suddenly stood up but sat back down. She felt too weak, and didn't notice Kaiya's little smirk.

"Tenten! What happened? Are you okay?" Kaiya started acting. "Go away." Tenten whispered in the loud room. "Let me take you to a room." Kaiya said and started helping her get up. "Don't touch me." She slapped her hand weakly. "Okay whatever then, I tried to help." Kaiya said then walked away. 'Neji where are you?' Tenten tried to stand up holding the counter. "Here let me help you, go to a quieter place." Nikushima said, helping her.

Neji looked over from talking to Sasuke, and Sakura. He noticed the state Tenten was in. Neji quickly stood up, and started walking towards Tenten. Kaiya tried to stop "Hey Neji!" "Move out the way." Neji said agitated, shrugging her arm off of him. "Ow, I think I twisted my ankle." Neji blocked off her voice, and quickly tried to catch up to them. They were about to head to the exit, with Tenten unconscious. Sasuke and Sakura also went after, seeing something was wrong. "Get your hand off of her immediately." Neji said as he catched up with them. Tenten was unconscious in a stranger's arm. "Why should I? What relations do you two have?" Nikushima smirked. "She's my girlfriend. What is your intention with her? Who are you?" Neji said as he started walking closer towards him.

Nikushima noticed that two more people part of the Konha 12 were coming over. "I'll get her next time." Then disappeared, leaving Tenten and Neji's arm. 'What happened?" Sakura huffed as soon as she arrived. "Who was that guy you were talking to?" Sasuke questioned. "I'm not sure who he was. He might've been an accomplice with Kaiya. One of them spiked Tenten's drink, and I'm pretty sure I know who it is. You two should head back now, I'll be taking Tenten home." Neji stated as he started walking, leaving those two behind. He knew their motives and was not planning on going easy on them.
