(13): yumi's birthday

[song for chapter: Party-BAMBAM]|| December 4th 2023 ||•••The big day had finally arrived..Yumi's 4th Birthday Party which coincides with Jin's birthday.The balloons had been set up,the decor is fancier than any of my childhood parties.I'm so lucky I get to spoil Yumi like this.It felt like yesterday she was a newborn in my arms.I remember that day exactly,my eyes still teary eyed as I couldn't grasp how I brought such a perfect little human being into this world.-flashback-[ December 4th 2019 ]Her eyes full of wonder,her fingers wrapped around mine in amusement.I ran my finger lightly through tiny strands of her hair,her jet black hair was the reason I had so much heartburn during my pregnancy.Jungkook reached over to take a turn at holding her,she had just finished drinking some breastmilk.So her chin still had some milk and her head wobbled around like a bobble head.I giggled and wiped her chin,Jungkook held her head up gently for me as I did so.I handed her to him and the minute he locked eyes with her,she gave him the most "wtf" face we both ever seen.Causing both of us to burst out laughing loudly.She was only hours old and yet she already had a personality.-present-Yumi squeals in delight running down the stairs in her bright hot pink hello kitty themed dress."Mommy look at all of this!" She says while her face brightens up as she examined the table that has her birthday cake on it.It's her favorite cake in the world.Vanilla flavored marble cake with fudge frosting and chocolate chips on the outside.Jungkook had to make it extra fancy by having the baker sculpt the cake into the face of hello kitty.He never fails to amaze me sometimes.I check the time and soon enough people start pouring in.Kimberly and Yoongi walk in happily arm in arm.I look at them and they both hug me before running off to greet the birthday girl.Ashley and Namjoon walk in with their tribe and Ashley looks not so well."Ash? Are you okay?" I ask her worriedly."I'm fine..I think baby M. wants to get out soon though" she groans grabbing her large bump."Sit down I'll get some water" I say and rush to the kitchen.Jessica and Hobi then arrive with Valentina and Taehyung right behind them.Youra and Jin walk in with Chanmin knocked out in his father's arms.Youra's near 8 month pregnant belly showing off finally,she's expecting a baby girl this time around.Amaris and Jimin finally arrive and before I could close the door.I see a familiar foot block the door from closing and I open it to see someone who is like a enemy to me.Kai.He smirks seeing me."He has the lady of the house answer the door? Some man he is." He says and I cross my arms.I close the door behind me so no one can see what's happening."State the reason you're here" I say"To pick up Yumi and to maybe have a chance to pick you up too" he says eyeing me up and down.My hot pink body con dress hugging my curves perfectly plus my natural dark tan skin makes the color come out more."The chance of picking me up is zero to none" I say sternly and he chuckles darkly.He gets closer to me and I back up."You know he'll never measure up to me in many ways" he says inching closer to me."Kai stop I'm married-"He suddenly kisses me and I fight him off.He tries to kiss down my neck and I take this as a chance to escape.I dig my long acrylic nails into his hands on purpose.He groans in pain and his grip loosens on me.I unlock the door when he lunged at me again."You bitch" he yells and I scream loudly.The door flew open and Jungkook must've heard my scream.He grabs me and pushes me into the house.Finally separating me and Kai.He closes the door and steps outside.-Jungkook's POV:-Instead of taking the front door to surprise Yumi with her birthday gift I wanted to sneak in from the back.But when I was setting up her gift,I heard Alana scream and it sounded like she was in trouble.So I dropped what I was doing and made a run for it.I unlocked the front door and there I see Kai grabbing Alana aggressively and yelling at her.He had her pinned and she was fighting him off.I grabbed her from his grasp and pushed her inside.I closed the door behind me so no one especially Yumi could see what's going on."Why do you keep trying to ruin our lives?" I say angrily and throw a punch at him.He gets up and swings at me but misses."Don't you see? She ruined mines the minute she kept that baby..I have to live with the fact I was stupid and didn't wear a condom that night" he says"You say that all the time,why? You seem happy with your son. WHY CAN'T YOU LEAVE US ALONE?! You said it yourself you didn't want the baby so we kept it and raised it ourselves together. She tried,she did..but you were a fool like always and let your damn ego get to you. So you lost her-"He punches me and I turn my face.I smirk and look at him.All worked up and angry."You hate to admit you lost for once in your life Kai,you lost to someone not only younger than you but better than you...I care for her more than anyone in this world and you think just because of guilt? She would want to try again,she's now married to me! She's pregnant with my child at the moment-" I blurt out the last part without thinking and his face changes."Wait..she's pregnant..again?" He asks me."Answer me you asshole" he adds and walks up to me.I shove him away."Yes she is! Why shouldn't she be? She's my wife!" I say and he lunged at me to punch me when I see a frying pan slam his face.I turn back to see Alana armed with the frying pan and she watches him fall on the floor unconscious."Omg Kook..what do we do now?" She says panicking and I grab her hands."Relax..I'll place him in the middle of the road and say he had a accident okay?" I say and she shakes her head."I hate today already,can we skip to our Christmas vacation?" She says and I shake my head grabbing her face."You did the right thing,I'm proud of you. But now I gotta handle this so go inside and keep everyone busy" I say and she frowns."Don't take the blame for something that you didn't do" she says and I peck her lips."Go inside." I say and she reluctantly walks inside.I drag his body to a abandoned apartment complex that had been under construction until it randomly stopped and the buildings stood unfinished.I leave him there and I look back to see him coming back to his senses.He tries to get up but his head is hurting him."Look at you. We're idols,we're supposed to be people that other people look up to and want to be one day. I hope nobody becomes like you..goodbye Kai" I say and leave him there.-Alana's POV-I worry about Jungkook,it's been a hour since he left and I wonder where he is.My worries are lifted when he walks in looking better than ever and wraps his arms around me."I missed you don't leave me again okay?" I say pouting and he nods."Promise." He says and kisses me softly.We stay there kissing until I hear.."Ewwwww!" "OMG LANA GET A ROOM!" Ashley says covering Mingyu's eyes as he looks mortified.We pull away and blush."Horn dogs" Ashley mouths and we laugh lowly.-after a while-We reached towards the end of the night and it's time to sing to Yumi.We all start singing her happy birthday until Jimin and Jungkook start showing off by doing runs in the middle of the song.We all start giggling and they notice."It's always a competition never fails." I say shaking my head laughing and when we all finish singing.Yumi leans over the table and blows her candles out.We all cheer while she jumps up and down excitedly.I look at her and I see some of my spunk in her,I just want her to have a better life than I had.I want to show her a better life.Jungkook grabs my wrist lightly and I wince in pain.He frowns and looks at my wrist.A red mark on my wrist reminding me of the horrid incident that happened earlier.He kisses the mark and pulls me closer in his arms.One of the reasons I fell in love with Jungkook is how caring and how selfless he is.He never questioned it when I showed up to their house,no parents and with basic Korean blurting out of my mouth when he first saw me.He accepted me and allowed me to be become one of his closest friends,he would blow off plans with his other friends just for when I had a bad day at school.Now as a husband,he's even more caring.More gentle,more loving,more selfless than ever.He never worries about himself so I do that for him instead,sometimes I get picked on for so-called "nagging" him.He's so soft for me all the time that I worry about him sometimes.I don't know what I would do if I ever lost this man,because the day he would die..A part of me would die as well.He's my soulmate forever and ever,it's not because we're husband and wife.It's not because he took in my daughter as his and loves her more than anything.It's because he's my best friend and my whole world.Yumi runs up to both of us and whines to get picked up.Jungkook lifts her up and she smiles.She kisses my cheek."Thank you mommy and daddy for the best birthday ever!" She says happily and I smile big."You're welcome!" I say and Jungkook wraps one arm around me."My girls." He says smiling and looking at both of us in awe.He then places his hand on my belly and rubs it.We lay down on the sofa while the others party outside and Yumi runs off to join the others.I lay my head and finally drift off in his arms.I feel him kiss my head and cover us both in a blanket.He falls asleep with me snuggled up in the blanket...—————————————————-
