Chapter 39 - Operation BMB (-Please-) Is A Go

Blaze's POVIt had been a week since me and Ein last talked about the "secret". Quinn has been instructing the crew from the cafe on what they were to do and Ms. Oksana has been prepping the "grand gesture". While I've discussing and making sure everyone was ready.

It was a Thursday afternoon when I was walking back to the dorm. I had just finished my classes and tomorrow...was the day of the operation. I was nervous. Really nervous.

"Hey Blaze!" Someone yelled as they ran up to me from behind me. "Oh hey Blue" I replied. "You dropped this." Ein handed me some of my notebooks. We picked up a conversation and I began to notice what he was wearing.

It was strange for me to see how he was wearing the brown sweater more often now. He'd usually just wear his blue or black hoodies and he wouldn't often take his piercings off.

"..Hey Ein....Are you okay?" I asked and accidentally cut him off as he was talking. "I'm..fine. Why do you ask?" He answered.

"Well you aren't wearing one of your blue or black hoodies, and your piercings are off right now. " I stated as Ein blushed a bit.

"...You actually noticed.." He mumbled as he hid his face on my shoulder. I pat his back as he hugged me tight. "Whats up, Blueberry?" I asked with concern.

"I just kinda wanted..to try to impress a certain guy I like..." he mumbled as a small blush formed on his face.

"O-Oh.." My eyes widened as I processed what he just said, a small blush formed on my face then too, but it also came with a bit of doubt.

"Well...I'm sure he really likes it." I replied as he smiled cutely at me. He kisses me on the cheek and continues walking the direction I was going. My blush got brighter and the doubt also got more intense.

'What if that "guy" isn't me?' 'Would Ein really like someone else?' 'B-But we kissed at Aph's party' 'A-And he acts this certain way around me too..'

I sighed as my thoughts filled up my head. I calmed myself down and said no to all my worries.

"I am going to ask him to go tomorrow. No backing out. The others have already planned everything too so there's no way I'm cancelling this!" I said to myself as I continued walking.

----------Ein's POVI got to the dorm and fell onto my bed as I walked into my small room. "Today was exhausting." I said to myself as I got up from bed and locked my door.

I opened up my dresser and looked for something I could change into. I saw a shirt I liked, some shorts and.....the skirt Ms. Oksana handed to me when we went to go get dressed up for the meetup.

'I-If I wore this then what would he say..? He's never seen this side of me a-and what if he doesn't like it..? But if I don't show it to him t-then he'll never know that this side of me exsists...'

I sighed as I tried to make up my mind. I changed out of the clothes I was wearing since it was already dirty, and I changed into....

Blaze's POV"Knock knock knock" I said as I knocked on Ein's door. "Hey Blue I just wanted to ask what--

....we were gonna...have for dinner...tonight....."

Silence spoke throughout the room. Ein's eyes were shut, his face was flushed, his hands kept down a skirt he was wearing, and this was really unexpected for me..

"B-Blaze I c-can explain! P-Please don't laugh.....You see..I kinda like..wearing things like this...." I blushed as he explained. "I g-grew up with three s-step sisters and--"

"You look stunning.."

Hours passed and the night was nearly over. Ein explained the whole "him liking wearing a skirt" thing to me and I thought it was...adorable.

We were currently in my room. Ein was on my bed and I was on my desk. He had changed out of the skirt and into a pair of shorts.

I waited for the perfect timing to ask him out for tomorrow and the time came when the room went a bit quiet.

"H-Hey Ein..I was wondering if you'd...wanna go out..with me..tomorrow.""Like..like a date?" He asked, his ears pointed towards me. "Yeah..like a date.." I mumbled a reply.

I waited for an answer as my thoughts started racing and little did I know that Ein was coming in for a hug. "..Of course..yes..." He mumbled into my ear as he hugged me.

He giggled as he let go of me. "Where are we even going anyways?" He asked as he sat back down on my bed. "You'll know when we get there." I replied. --------------------Sorry for not updating for such a long time guys. I hope you liked this chapter and I hope you're excited for the next one!
