Chapter 29- Indy fell

I KISSED INDY

I actually kissed Indy.

I knew it was shitty of me to kiss her without asking but I couldn't pass up a once in a lifetime opportunity.

BUT DAMN, SHE ACTUALLY KISSED ME BACK.

Indy kissed me back

I feel like a six year old child who just got handed a whole bucket load of ice cream.

Take that MackenzieI'm pretty sure he hasn't gotten a kiss yet.

Then of course the universe just had to taunt me

Indy's phone rang.

WHO THE HELL WAS CALLING HER AT THIS DELICATE TIME

" I hope who ever calls falls in a ditch somewhere and die " I muttered.

She broke the kiss then smiled before looking at her phone. She smiled. I'm pretty sure that means she liked it.

Of course she liked it, I'm the one kissing her, who wouldn't like that

Her body stiffened after looking at her phone, her facial expression changed into one of anger. I wonder who's calling

She quickly answered the call.

" Hello " she said. She was clearly faking her cheerfulness. I couldn't even hear the person in the other side.

" Great and you? " She said forcing herself to smile. I could see the fear in her eyes.

" For what? " She asked in confusion. After about five seconds I saw that she was frozen. Her phone had dropped from her hand and unto the ground. She was clearly in shock, but from what?

" Indy? " I called out, I was extremely worried. She didn't move, I couldn't see the rise and fall of her chest anymore, have she stopped breathing?

" Indy " I called out again and was about to grab her when she fell backwards unto the ground.

" Shit " was all I could say. I quickly jumped off the tree to where she was. " INDY! " I yelled as I was about to carry her, until I saw it...

BLOOD...

Indy's blood, was on the ground, the fall must have had to much impact on her head.

Indy was bleeding.I was panickingNone of that was helping the situation.

I looked around for someone, anyone I could find but there was no one.

Of course there wasn't, everyone was in class.

I contemplated on whether I should carry her to the nurse office or run to call a nurse.

I couldn't even think straight, all I knew is that I couldn't just stand there and watch Indy bleed to death.

No, she's not dying, not on my watch

I quickly but gently picked her up and rushed her to the nurse's office. I was genuinely scared, not only was Indy unconscious, her blood was dripping through the hallway.I finally made it to the nurse's office. The nurse looked at Indy in shock before quickly saying " lay her down on the bed over there " I did exactly as I was told. The nurse rushed to Indy's side and cleaned off her head injury and ran some tests.

" Rusty, what happened to her? " She asked me

" It's my fault, it's all my fault " I admitted.

" Did you...did you hit her? " She asked .

" What!, No, I would never " I rushed out. I can't believe the nurse would actually think that, am I really that violent." What I meant was, I was the one who suggested that we climb a tree...then...then...she fell off " I said.

" Oh, I'm sorry for assuming things " she apologized. " I don't think the school has the equipment she needs to get better, I'll have to take her to a hospital "

" Uhh yeah, yeah. " I said. I was still in panic, I haven't even properly processed what happened.

Why is she injured - because she fellWhy did she fall - because she was on a treeWhy was she on a tree - because an idiot named Rusty told her to climb oneWhy did the idiot tell her to climb a tree - because he's an idiot.

Sometimes I hate myself

" You should go clean up your self " the nurse said indicating the blood stains on my clothes.

I looked at Indy who was lying there helplessly, I didn't want to leave her alone, but I really did have to clean my self up.

"Ok" I replied then left. I went to the bathroom and tried to clean off some of the blood, but couldn't. " Shit " I got frustrated as I looked at my self in the mirror.

This whole shit is my fault.I should have never taken her up the tree. I'm so stupid.

My weird ways of having fun just almost led to Indy's death. She was probably lying when she said her parents won't let her date anyone, she just doesn't want to date me. I don't blame her though, she probably sees me as a dangerous person, which I probably am.

" What have I done " I said quietly to my self.

Just then I heard one of the toilets flush, then I realized I wasn't alone. The dude came out

" Oof that was a nasty one "

I practically started laughing at his words

" Oh shit, didn't think anyone was here " Arlo said.

" Yeah neither did I until I heard that " I replied.

Arlo looked all over me, probably noticing all the blood.

" Oh shit, didn't think it was that time of the month yet " he said. I just rolled my eyes at his stupid, turns out, we were both idiots, only difference is, he actually knew stuff." Oh wait " he dug his hand into his back pocket and brought out something. " Here " he gave it to me. I looked at it and was confused, until I realized what it was.

This idiot gave me a Tampon.

" What the hell Arlo " I practically screamed and threw it back at him.

" Well, since you can't control all that " he gestured to the blood.

" You're crazy " I commented.

" Ok but for real what happened? Are you ok? " He asked. It hurts saying it, knowing fully well that it's my fault.

" No, Indy fell " I said plainly.

" Fell? " He questioned. I don't blame him, a normal fall wouldn't have resulted in this much blood.

" She fell from a tree " I admitted.

" WHAT THE HELL WAS SHE DOING IN A TREE? " He yelled.

" I WAS STUPID OK " I sighed. " I thought it would be a good idea to climb a tree, I didn't think she'd fall, we were sitting and then she...got a phone call and then she fell "" Shit, is she ok? " he asked.

" No " I replied. " And it's all my fault "

" Dude, it's not your fault "

" You're just saying that " I replied

" No, I saw the way Indy was acting today, she was definitely upset " he said thinking about something.

" Yeah about Honey " I remembered.

" Dude, you don't think... " He trailed off. Think what?

" Think what? "

" Dude, put two and two together, Honey was kidnapped, Indy was one of the first people to know, she got a phone call then probably went into shock and fell... WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK THAT MEANS? "

" so... you're trying to tell me..." I thought deeply. HOLY SHIT " HONEY'S DEAD " I yelled out. There's no freaking way

" Honey's what? " I heard someone say, I turned around and saw it was Jack standing there.
