Chapter 27- mission complete

After Jack left I sat there with Indy trying to comfort her. Like why the heck did Jack just walk in and say a bunch of stupid stuff. I mean, I don't even know if he knows what happened cuz I just found out today. I think I was to harsh on him.

Indy then looked up at me " I'm sorry " she said still snuffling.

" Sorry for what? "

" For crying too much " she replied.Damn she's cute. I think I'm in love. Yeah I know it's too soon but you'll know when you find the right one.

" You don't have to be sorry Indy, just let it all out " I told her softly.Man I've gone soft.What happened to cold-hearted rough Soldier Rusty.

" Thank you " she replied as she laid her head down on the table and I brushed my fingers through her hair.

Yo, I think I'm boyfriend material.

Anyways, the weirdo Physics teacher walked in. " Sorry I'm late students, I got caught up in traffic, let's get started shall we " he said as he began to write random stuff on the board.

Like bro, can't you see we're not in the mood...not like I'll ever be in the moodBut still, literally half the class isn't even here. Lucky isn't here, Jack isn't here...cuz I chased him away.And a bunch of students that I didn't even bother learning their names aren't here.Wow, apart from my friend group, I know literally no one else, I really need to start talking to other people.

Anyways,Mr i-dont-even-know-his-name-cuzhe-never-told-us kept writing random stuff on the board.

Like bro, no one and I mean absolutely no one cares about what you're writing, you're practically wasting your time.

I miss Calypso class, things used to be way more easier back then. Now the only class I look forward to is P.E cuz that's the only class that teaches me important things.

" If you can open your textbooks to page 47 you'll have a clearer understanding of what I'm talking about "

The heck

I don't even have a textbook. Like literally every one else has one. What is happening. Oh wait, I left it it my locker...not like I was gonna use it anyway

But for real tho, this is our first time in physics class ( cuz we couldn't do it last week ) how the heck did we get all the way to page 47, like what happened to page 1.

Yo that just made me start thinking, this school is messed up. We literally just show up, two days later, Science fair project, three days later, kid gets kidnapped. Like what the heck.

Anyways, I asked Indy if we could share, she just gave me the book and said she didn't feel like using it then she laid her head back on the table.

Like girl, I don't even know how to use this thing.

Anyways, I asked a kid what the heck we were doing and he actually explained it to me, better than that dude who calls himself a teacher. Oh by the way the kid's name is Arlo. Yeah weird name...says the kid who's named after the corrosion of metal.

Yeah soo Arlo and I talked for a while...cuz like me he also didn't care about what that dude was teaching.Yeah soo, Arlo's into sports and but he's not into the Army stuff but anyways he's cool.

New friend unlocked.

Yeah soo I invited Arlo to sit with us at lunch and he said he'll come cuz he hadn't made any friends yet.

Anyways, Time flew by really slow. Immediately class was over people left. As much as I wanted to dash out, I had to stay and wait until Indy was ready to leave.

Look at me being all boyfriend material.

We then left the lab. Indy still hadn't said anything. I have to lighten up the mood.

" Uhh Indy, do you wanna ditch " why the hell did I ask that. Why would someone like Indy want to ditch class.

" And go where? " she asked.

" Outside, to get some fresh air " I replied.

" Sure, let's go " she seemed cheered up a bit.

We then walked outside towards the east end of the school.

The air outside is amazing. The cool breeze is amazingThe view is amazingThe fact that I'm outside instead of 'learning' stuff is amazing.Indy is amazing.

I lead Indy over to a tree and she sat down in it's shade and relaxed herself. I rolled my eyes at her actions

Cute innocent child.

Yeah, I don't sit in the shade of a tree. I climb it.

I held Indy's hand and pulled her up so she could stand.

" What happened? " She asked cutely...man I need help.

" We're not sitting here, we're sitting there " I pointed upwards.

" Uh... that's too high " she said sounding a bit scared.

" No it's not " I assured her. But for real though, this was like the smallest tree I've climbed." You just put your leg over there then your hand over there then you pull yourself up " I directed her on how to climb the tree.

She climbed then I followed. We both were sitting comfortably on the tree...well mostly me

She was a bit scared and she kept squeezing my hand...I could stay like this forever.

After a while she got comfortable. " This is nice " she said smiling while feeling the cool breeze in her hair.

I made her smileMission complete.

" Yeah, really nice " I replied.

" Thanks for bringing me here "

" Anytime " I replied.

We stayed there for a while talking about random stuff. I finally got her mind off what was happening.

I wonder how MacKenzie's doing with Bluey.
