NARRATOR'S POV

SATURDAY

Bluey woke up really late, she was so tired after everything that happened the previous day that she decided to sleep for a little while longer. She checked her phone for any messages or calls she missed.

' 12 calls from dad, 14 from mum, 7 from Bingo and 24 from... Mackenzie. Why would Mackenzie even call me and why 24 times. Let's see 9 messages from dad, 5 from mum, 6 from Bingo and 10 from Mackenzie ' she thought to herself

She then decided to check the messages Mackenzie left

Do you need help?

She didn't feel like replying his messages. She still had to process everything that happened yesterday.She then realized that Lucky sent her a message._____________

LUCKY

LuckyMorning Bluey.Remember we have to visit Jean luc at the hospital today be there at 9 'o' clock

BlueyOk, I'll be there.

' i hope Jean luc is alright ' Bluey thought to herself.

She brushed her teeth and took her bath. She went downstairs. She saw her parents sitting on the couch and talking together. She wanted to avoid them and any of their unnecessary questions, she wanted to leave the house and go to the hospital too see Jean luc.

" Bluey, your father and I think it's time we need to talk " Chili said after realizing that Bluey had finally come out her room.

" Umm...I really need to go somewhere " Bluey replied.

" You're not going anywhere Bluey, like your mum said, we need to talk. " Bandit said.

" Mum, Dad, please, this is urgent " She replied as she checked the time on her phone which read 8:3t0

" Nothing's more urgent than the conversation we're about to have " Chili said as she patted the couch signalling for Bluey to come sit down.

" Yeah I know, but can we have this conversation when I get back " Bluey pleaded.

" No! " Bandit said sternly " like I said before you're not going anywhere "

" Besides, where are you even planning on going? " Chili asked

" Somewhere " Bluey replied.

" Bluey, you're not making this any easier " Chili said.

" Can I please just- " Bluey got interrupted by her phone ringing. It was Lucky.

" Bluey where are you? " Lucky asked.

" I'm still at home " she replied.

" You need to hurry "

" Why? "

" Indy got a text from nightmare "

" What? Really? "

" yeah, he's gonna be at the hospital so get here quick "

" yeah, I'm on my way " she said as she ended the call____

" How many times do I have to say that you're not going anywhere " Bandit said.

" Ok, fine, let's talk " Bluey said as she finally sat down.

" First of all, where were you last night? " Chili asked.

" At school " Bluey responded.

" Ok, why? " Chili asked.

" I needed to do something "

" What? "

" Nothing important "

" You know what, Bluey you can go wherever it is that you were planning on going " Bandit said.

" Really? " Bluey and Chili said at the same time.

" Yeah, go on, you don't want to be late " Bandit replied.

" Thanks dad " Bluey said as she rushed out of the house.

" Why did you let her go? " Chili asked Bandit.

" Cuz, it's obvious we weren't getting anything from that conversation, so I let her leave " Bandit replied.

Bluey rushed to the hospital where she met Lucky, Indy and Honey standing outside.

" Sorry I'm late, I had to take care of something " Bluey said while breathing heavily because she had to run all the way there.

" It's fine let's go inside " Lucky said as they all went in.

They went to the receptionist desk to ask where Jean luc was being kept.

" Hello and welcome, how can I help you? " The receptionist said.

" Umm, last night an ambulance brought in a patient, his name is Jean luc and we'd like to know where he is " Lucky said.

" Ok he's in ward 19, that's upstairs to your left " she replied as she pointed to them the direction of the ward.

" Thanks " Bluey said.

They ran upstairs the stairs, went left and were looking for ward 19.

" There " Indy said as she ran there and the others followed her.

They stopped in their tracks when they saw the same police officers from last night.

" Ughh, why are they here " Indy complained

" Oh hey kids, nice seeing you here " The male police officer said.

" You refused to answer our questions last night, maybe you're ready now " the female police officer said.

" Can we at least see Jean luc first " Bluey pleaded.

" Uh, sure, I guess "

They rushed into the room and saw Jean luc still unconscious.

" Still unconscious " Lucky said clearly stating the obvious.

The police officers came in.

" You know you kids really are something " The male police officer said. " Your friend is unconscious and you still won't tell us what really happened "

" I heard that fifty percent of patients who are in a coma never make it " the female police officer said looking at her nails like she didn't care about anything that was happening.

" WHAT!!! " The four kids yelled in unison.

" You heard me. YOU'RE FRIEND'S IN A COMA AND WE DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM CUZ YOU REFUSE TO TELL US " She yelled

" No way. There's no way " Bluey said cuz she refused to believe it.

" The least you can do for your friend is help us find who did this to him " She said

Bluey went over to Jean luc's side and stared at him because she couldn't believe that he was in a coma.

" Stop the act, it's not like you really care about him " the female police officer said.

" OF COURSE I CARE, HE'S MY FRIEND " Bluey yelled.

" If you care so much then tell us what really happened " the female police officer said.

" Fine, I'll tell you " Lucky said.

Long time no see. I missed you guys (not really)Finally on a holiday so I can write again.I don't know why I write the things that I write but who cares.Just so you know the ' I heard that fifty percent of patients who are in a coma never make it ' part was not true.
