What's going on?

Toms POV

Nicole-Well, I need to tell you something first. But do you promise not to tell anyone, especially Dougie.

Tom-I promise.

Nicole-Okay, good. Well, as you know Katie broke up with Dougie. Well Katie didn't actually want to break up with him, she was forced to. Do you remember Blake?

Tom-Yeah...

I said confused.

Nicole-Well, he sent Katie a note saying that she had to break up with him otherwise he would hurt Dougie and she really didn't want that to happen so she broke up with him. Now he's apparently her boyfriend and they were just at home and he was hurting her. She's scared and doesn't know what to do, she doesn't want to go back home because she doesn't want him to hurt her again. Anyway could you please, please let us stay here for a while so he doesn't hurt her anymore. It would mean so much to her and me. 

I couldn't believe what I was hearing, I was so shocked that Blake would do something like that to this poor innocent girl whose done nothing wrong. 

Tom-Of course you two can stay here! Why would I say no if something like that was happening to you guys!

She jumped up and pulled me into a really tight hug.

Nicole-Thank you so much! Really thank you, thank you, thank you. 

I giggled.

Tom-It's okay, really don't worry about it.

Nicole-Okay, please don't tell Dougie about it though.

Tom-Okay, I won't. I promise.

Nicole-Thank you so much Tom.

I smiled as we walked back into the living room. Nicole gave Katie a quick nod in reassurence and Katie ran over to me with tears in her eyes.

Katie-Thank you so much! I don't know what I would do without you. 

She let go of me and I smiled at her. I gave her a quick kiss her head and we went to sit down on the sofa. I could hear the doorbell go off so I stood up to go and answer it. I opened the door to see Dougie, tears still streaming down his face, standing there.

Tom-Dougie? What are you doing here? 

Dougie-What, can't I come to my own bandmates house?

He said making his way inside to the living room. I tried to stop him but I couldn't. He froze as soon as he saw her. AWKWARD! I walked over to Dougie to try to take him out of his shock. He moved a little and then spoke.

Dougie-W-w-what are you doing here?

He said almost in tears. I looked over at Katie, tears were streaming down her face, she looked awful. 

Katie-Dougie, can I talk to you? Please.

Dougie-Why would you want to speak to me?! I thought you never wanted to see me again. And why are you in Tom's house? Get out!

I couldn't believe he just said that to her! What was he saying, he can't mean that!

Katie-No, Dougie please! Can I just speak to you. Please! I'm begging you!

Dougie-Fine! But you better not break my heart like last bloody time!

They walked into the kitchen Katie crying her eyes out while Dougie was rolling his eyes.

Dougie-Oh look, seeking more attention are we?

Seriously what had gotten into him? Why was he acting like this? I thought he loved her. How could he say those things to her?!

Dougie's POV

I know I was saying all of these stupid things but something inside me just told me that I hated her when I didn't. I couldn't control what I was saying and I didn't want to say them but I did. And I regretted every word of what slipped out of my stupid mouth. We went into the kitchen so she could say what she wanted to say in private.

Katie-Dougie I am so sorry about breaking up with you. You don't know the reason why I broke up with you, nor do I want to tell you the reason, but I really want to get back with you. I can't stand being away from you. I know that might sound really stupid but it's what I'm thinking and I still love you Dougie, but I can tell by the things you're saying to me that you don't love me back. I know you probably don't care at all but I just wanted to tell you.

She said with tears streaming down her face.

Oh no, I can't believe I said all of those things to her and now she's saying this! What have I done?! 

Dougie-I love you katie, and I didn't mean a word I said to you back there. I swear I didn't even think about what I was saying. I do love you and I always have.

She whiped her tear away and gave me a smile.

Katie-Really?

Dougie-Really.

She smiled and gave me a hug. As soon as I felt her touch I felt a spark, the same spark as before, it felt amazing. We pulled apart and I brought her lips to mine, she kissed me back and I picked her up and put her on the kitchen sides without breaking the kiss. 

Katie-Stop.

She said so I immediately pulled away.

Dougie-Why not?

Katie-I just can't, I'm sorry.

Dougie-Okay.

I said letting her down and giving her a quick peck on the cheek. 

Dougie-Sorry.

Katie-There's no need to apologise Dougie, it's my fault. Don't worry.

We walked back into the living room and they were in mid-conversation but as soon as we walked in the room fell silent. They were obviously talking about me and Katie. I sat down on the sofa and Katie sat on my lap. She placed her hand into mine and smiled. At that moment I knew I had her back and I was never going to let her go. All of a sudden someones phone went off. Katie jumped up, it was obviously her phone, and walking into the kitchen to answer it. When she was out of sight Tom looked at me and gave me a very cheeky smirk on his face.

Tom-I'm guessing you're back together then!

Dougie-Yeah, but I think she's hiding something from me; she wouldn't tell me why she broke up with me she just told me that she didn't want to. 

Tom-I'm sure it's not that important if she's back with you. Forget about it mate.

Dougie-Yeah, I guess you're right.

Then Katie walked back in tears streaming down her face as she looked at us.

Katie-He's coming here! We need to get out of here!

What a second, who's he?! What's going on? I looked over to Tom for an answer but he didn't do anything. He just ran over to Katie and gave a huge hug.

Dougie-Katie, calm down. What's going on?

Katie-Not now Dougie! I'll tell you later on.

Dougie-Bu-

Tom-Dougie, just leave it.

Tom interupted me as I tried to figure out what was going on. 

Dougie-Seriously someone tell me what's going on!!

Katie-Dougie, Leave it! I'll tell you later!

Dougie-NO. TELL ME WHAT'S GOING ON! I NEED TO KNOW IF SOMETHINGS GOING TO HAPPEN TO MY BLOODY GIRLFRIEND!!

I shouted instantly regretting every word.
