Tension was high, especially being sat in the car with Sunghoon and Areum at the same time. I mentally cursed myself, maybe I shouldn't have been so nosy after all.

The car was submerged in an aura of awkward silence, obviously I knew what went down, but did they know that I heard everything? How Areum basically hated me or whatever.

I wanted to ease the tension somehow, and make sure they thought I didn't know what just happened up on that rooftop.

"Can we stop by to get food?" I suddenly asked, yeah, it was pretty late at night, yeah, Areum might be in tears right now, and yeah, Sunghoon probably has smoke coming out of his ears - but you can't deny stopping to get food.

Sunghoon glanced at me through the rearview mirror, raising an eyebrow as I just threw him a dirty look.

"Right now?" Sunghoon probably felt extremely awkward - oops.

Areum was simply staying silent, staring out of the window.

"Areum? You wanna get food?" I asked her - with no resentment in my tone at all, as if I didn't her completely obliterate my looks, personality, everything on that rooftop. I gotta give the girl some sympathy, I would've probably done the exact same if I liked a boy for years and it turns out he swooned for a girl in such a short time.

Areum didn't reply, just sniffled a little as she stared some more out of the window.

"Hellooo?" I continued as she shrugged.

"I don't care Yerin." She suddenly retort finally, I noticed Sunghoon's grip on the wheel tighten for a second.

Okay boy, don't get mad at her right now. I suppressed a smile by tightly holding my lips together, I couldn't be super insensitive to such a delicate moment.

Ouch though, kinda felt for Areum, yeah, she told me to kill myself and whatever - but still.

I honestly have no idea why I was actually sat in the backseat, Areum just kind of - took the passengers side so I had no other option really.

"Baby" Sunghoon suddenly said, Areum let out a small but audible scoff, and my heart simply beat out of my chest, "take my wallet real quick, hop out and go into the chicken restaurant. I need to park the car, alright?"

He hung his wallet in the middle of the car while stopping on the curb so I could get out. I grabbed his wallet and left the car, walking onto the dark and empty sidewalk. It was pretty chilly, but also nice at the same time.

Sunghoon drove off to go park in the car park which was for some reason a bit away. I decided to not argue with him about why I can't just stay in the car and we can all walk to the restaurant together, he probably wanted to talk to Areum privately or something like that.

The chicken shop looked pretty cute, it had bright, glowy neon signs outside. And I didn't really want to go inside yet - hoping they would hurry up.

I crossed my arms, blowing out hot air, okay, it infact very cold instead, it was not nice anymore. I waited, five minutes. Still no sign of them.

God, how long could they possibly park for? Especially since there was literally nobody here. Surely the parking lot must've been clear of cars.

I rolled my eyes, shivering in this bitter temperature. I still refused to go inside alone, I didn't want to awkwardly wait in the shop alone without ordering anything. If they told me what they both wanted I probably would've.

I groaned, this was taking forever, another five minutes and I'll literally walk there myself and see what the fuck they are doing.

And just like I said, another five minutes passed, and I'm pretty sure the owner was staring at me in confusion from the glass windows at what the hell I was doing - just stood here like an idiot.

Out of frustration and coldness, I stormed my way down the street, walking to wherever the car park was located. It was a much further walk than anticipated.

Walking walking walking, and even got some whistles from this creepy ass guy - seemingly to be drunk and high on the side of the street. How nice.

Finally, I made it to the car park, it was one of those fancy 4 storey car parks. For fucks sake, now I have to play hide and seek with these fuckers? Would it not just be better if I went home at this point?

Did I really just get like, ditched by my own man and this girl who wants him? What a great combo, next thing you know I'll probably see them giving each other mouth to mouth in some dark, desolate spot of the parking lot.

I scavenged around for a bit, no sign of them on the first storey, I climbed up the second, and at this point I think I was going to get frostbite. 

Just as I was losing hope, I heard two voices arguing, none other than Sunghoon and Areum.
