Heechul parked the car at the side of some shop near enough that alleyway I walk by to get home. And at this point, I was sick of today already, I know for a fact all I'll be is a dead corpse by the end of this week.

Sunghoon stepped into the shop, and I figured that since my house is close by, I could just walk the rest.

"I'm going home, thanks for everything." I told Heechul as he looked at me slightly concerned.

"Are you sure? I can drop you off?"

"I live literally like five minutes away." I smiled, exiting the car and starting my walk back home. It was pretty peaceful the city at night, luckily it wasn't raining as heavily, but it was dark.

I made my way towards home, almost near the alleyway.

As I walked into the dark alley, Sunghoon's words cycled round my head, he's right. I could literally die here and nobody would know. It was pitch black, barely visible and quiet.

My heart started to increase pace, like never before. Never had I had such bad feeling about being here. I swiftly looked back, nobody, and then looked back forward.

A figure exactly at the end of the alleyway, just stood there. And at this point, I was in the middle of the alleyway, I slowly started to back up realising the figure was moving much faster towards me.

Now, obviously, the sane idea would be to run for my life, but the shock paralysed me. My body literally just accepted that this was fate for me, and my legs agreed, I for some reason refused to run like an idiot. I just took small steps back as the person at the other end took faster strides.

"Don't run." The figure said, it was a very low voice, rather quiet and honestly scared me shitless.

He was getting closer by the second and each step back I took, he took more forward. And suddenly, he started to run, and thank fuck I finally reacted quick enough.

I RAN.

Ran as fast as I could straight ahead, I wasn't even looking, I just focused on the fast steps behind me.

Unknowingly, in a panic, I ran into someone at the start of the alley. And I genuinely thought it was over for me at this point.

Great, I'm going to be fucking cut open and my organs will be sold. Awesome ending!

The figure I ran into, placed their hand around my head, before walking in front of me and launching a solid punch into the head of the figure. He fell to the floor, then crawled for a bit and ran back off to the other side in a hurry.

The person grabbed my arm, dragging me back into the main street. And none other, but Sunghoon.

He gently panted, staring at me, maybe with like anger slightly, with paranoia, and then worry.

"Are you out of your goddamn mind?" He yelled, "Just because I said you'd probably get killed walking down here doesn't mean you should test it out!"

I don't think I have ever seen Sunghoon so mad before, at least not that I know of.

"I'm sorry!" I stared at his eyes, softening slowly, "I didn't know some weird ass fucker would be stood over there."

"You should expect it, look, it's a fucking isolated alleyway and it's dark as hell out here. And additionally, you're alone. Did you not think?!" He scolded me, I gave a sigh.

"Stop shouting at me." I crossed my arms, looking anywhere at his eyes, because I know I'm in the wrong at this moment.

He rubbed his face, letting out a sigh of relief.

"Look at me." He demanded.

"No"

"Look at me." He repeated.

"No" I said once again.

He grabbed my chin lightly with his hand, forcing me to face him and look at his eyes. And as I did, I genuinely thought I'd collapse. Why did they have to make this man so good-looking?

"Tell me you wont ever walk down here again, regardless of if its light outside or not." Sunghoon stared me directly in the eyes and wouldn't break the eye contact.

"Fine. I wont." I gave in, there was no point in being stubborn about this, I mean he did literally save my life.

"You wont what?" He let go of me.

"Wont walk down here again." It was kind of embarrassing, like, especially because I told him not so long ago that it's fine walking down here and nothing bad has ever happened to me.

"Good." He pulled me into his chest, and I could feel his beating heart, I didn't resist or anything. I just let him do it, he caressed my hair for a bit, giving a few exhales of relief.

Nobody knows how bad I was holding back my giggle and smile.
