Christmas day 3 months later

She cuddled into Bruno on the sofa glad to be home again and lying down, it had been a great Christmas day, they had spent the morning with her family and the afternoon with Bruno's family at his sister Jaime's home and there had been so much food that even Bruno was now complaining that he had eaten too much and she had never heard him say that before and even Geronimo who was lying beside the sofa looked like he was stuffed from all the food the kids had fed him she thought smiling.

She was drifting off to sleep when Bruno kisses her head and she looks at him and he says our first Christmas together has been good and i'm so happy to be here with you and I can't wait to spend many many more with you but why'd you let me eat so much girl.

She laughs and replies I couldn't agree more babe but it's not my fault you ate too much that's all on you and I won't be surprised if later tonight you are hungry again.

I am not eating again, well not until tomorrow morning that is, afterall breakfast is the most important meal of the day Bruno replies making her laugh and she replies we'll see babe if you can hold out that long.

He watched CeCe as she slept thinking about the good time they'd had with their families that day and smiled as he looked down at the rudolf sweater with a bid red bobble nose on it that he had put on after she had given it to him that morning and the surprise on her face that he had put it on and he thought about the guitar strap and pick she had given him with his initials engraved on them and he thought about the sweet look on her face when he had given her a gold bracelet engraved with my girl on it and the snowman sweater he had given her and talked her into wearing since he was wearing the sweater she had given him, it was a tradition in his family to wear Christmas sweaters he had told her which had got her to wear it and she saw he had told her the truth when she saw his family wearing Christmas sweaters too, aye today had been really good he thought before falling asleep with her.

They went to bed shortly after waking up and watched it's a wonderful life and when it finishes she laughs when he says i'm gonna go make popcorn and get a soda do you want anything baby.

I thought you weren't eating anything again until breakfast tomorrow she replies and laughs when he replies popcorn doesn't count as food.

She shakes her head at his reasoning and says it's junk food babe and a bottle of water would be good.

They watched miracle on 34th street and she felt content and happy just to be lying in bed beside Bruno and that he was home since he'd been travelling all over the world promoting his first single and new album 24k Magic and although they had kept in touch with each other everyday home hadn't felt like home without him there and she hadn't been able to sleep in their bed without him and had slept on the sofa in his music room in his t shirts to feel close to him which he had thought was sweet when she had told him and she was glad that she was going to Las Vegas with him where he was doing shows on 30th and 31st of December she was looking forward to watching Bruno and his band perform and celebrate the New Year with them, especially Bruno.

He had been avoiding asking CeCe since he'd got home from europe but it was bugging him and he knew the time had come to just ask her and get it over with now that the film is done he takes a deep breath and says how are you doing with the bodyguards, are you getting on with them ok, I know having them takes some getting use to.

I'm use to bodyguards being around since I got with you but it feels weird having them just for me but they're ok and they're don't fuck with me expressions keep people asking me about you from trying to get close to me which is good she replies.

I am glad you feel like that and I think they practice those don't fuck with me looks in the mirror baby Bruno replies making her laugh.
