Friday 1 week later

Ok guys, you called us over for lunch which was very nice but what is it you wanted to tell us CeCe asks Urbana and Phil.

Phil takes Urbana's hand and kisses her and Urbana turns to CeCe and Bruno and says i'm pregnant guys there is another baby Z on the way.

They all hug and Bruno and CeCe congratulate Phil and Urbana and they talk about names starting with Z for the baby.

I'm sorry guys but i've gotta go, work calls CeCe tells everyone and hugs and kisses everyone before leaving and tells Urbana i'll call you later mama.

As she's getting into her car Bruno runs over to her and says is it just me or was it really hard not to tell them we're going to have a baby too.

She laughs and replies no babe but this is their time, ours is next week at the party and they kiss and say I love you before she drives off.

She was running late thanks to her shoot with Adele who had not been as easy going as she had been with CeCe previously.

She groans as the traffic lights turns red she should have been home by now getting ready to go to dinner with Bruno at Eric and Cindia's and texts Bruno i'm on my way home babe I should be there in 15-20 mins xxx.

She was just driving through the inter section when a black car comes out of nowhere and crashes into her car.

She wakes up feeling sore and groggy and can tell she's in a hospital room and sees Bruno with his head bent over her hand that he's holding in both of his and says hey and sees him jerk up and he's crying and she asks him why are you crying, what happened, what's wrong.

He's relieved CeCe is awake and is going to be ok but he doesn't know how to tell her, doesn't know the words to use to tell her about the car crash, and hopes the right words come to him.

You were on your way home baby when a drunk driver crashed into you, you have a mild concussion and some cuts and bruises and before Bruno can say anything else she asks is peanut ok.

He tightens his hold on her hand and says i'm so sorry baby there was nothing the doctors could do, we've lost peanut and watches the shock on her face and the sorrow of her tears falling breaks his heart.

He stayed with her, he was worried because since telling CeCe earlier about losing their baby she hadn't said a word she just laid in bed staring out the window crying silently, she hadn't responded when her parents, brother and sister had came in to see her or when the doctor and a nurse had come to check on her and he'd tried talking to her, asking her if he could get anything or do anything for her and she'd only shaken her head no.

She feels heart broken that she has lost their baby and replays over and over the moments before the crash wondering if she could have done anything differently that could have made a difference and saved their baby.

He was glad when she fell asleep, seeing her just lying there in bed not saying a word, crying and looking desolate hurt him and he didn't know what to do to help her other than repeatedly telling her he loves her and that he's here for her and that they'll get through this together.

He lets Phil and Urbana in when they arrive, he had spoken quietly on the phone to Phil when CeCe had fallen asleep about what had happened and had asked him to ask Urbana to go to his place and pack a bag for CeCe.

Phil hugs him and says i'm sorry man and he takes the bag Urbana hands him for CeCe and she hugs him and says i'm sorry Bruno hows our girl doing.

They all sit down beside CeCe's bed and Bruno takes hold of CeCe's hand and quietly tells them that the doctor said CeCe can go home tomorrow and that she hasn't spoken to anyone since he had told her about losing their baby.

Did you know she was pregnant Urbana asks Bruno.

Yeah we knew, we went for the first ultra sound scan last week and we were going to tell everyone at the party next Saturday Bruno replies.

Damn man that's rough I feel bad for you guys, i'm here for you both Phil tells Bruno.

I'm here for both of you too, if you need anything all you gotta do is ask Urbana tells Bruno.

He thanks Phil and Urbana and tells them I don't know what to do for her, we were really looking forward to having the baby.

He sits and takes out his copy of the ultra sound picture from his wallet and stares at it and thinks about all the talks he'd had with CeCe about their baby once Phil and Urbana leave and about seeing the baby last week on the ultra sound monitor and hearing it's heartbeat.

He fell asleep with the ultra sound picture in his right hand and CeCe's hand in his left.

this was a really hard chapter to write  and I have no idea where the story is going from here...yet 😭😭😭
