2 days later

It had been good to be at the gym working out with Urbana and Lana she had needed the workout and now sitting with them eating tacos and drinking soda talking about everything and anything and making each other laugh.

When it's just Urbana and CeCe after Lana leaves they are having coffee when Urbana asks so hows being friends with Bruno going.

It's ok so far it's just weird not being at each others throats CeCe replies.

And what else Urbana asks her.

She replies ok just between us and that means you cannot tell Phil and continues by telling Urbana when she agrees about the phone calls and text messages between her and Bruno that had started 2 days ago.

She is surprised when Urbana says you know I didn't always like Bruno i'm friends with him now but I have no respect for him with how he treats women ever since he split up with Jessica.

I know you've told me this before CeCe replies.

I have but I want you to really listen to me I love you both but do not get involved with him I don't want you hurt and i've seen how he looks at you he wants you as more than just a friend.

It's ok you don't have to worry about me, between how we were with each other and from what you've told me i'm not going to hook up with him you know me better than that I won't become one of his play things CeCe tells her.

I really hope not just be careful and don't let your hormones rule your head Urbana tells her.

Aye mama relax it's never gonna happen CeCe tells her.

They leave and hug before getting into their cars but on the drive home their conversation plays through CeCe's head.

After getting changed into pink shorts and a white vest when she gets home she's curled up on the sofa with a glass of white wine watching scandal when Bruno calls her she mutes the tv as she answers and he asks hey what's good with you and what are you up to.

She tells him my wine is good and i'm watching scandal what about you she asks him.

Everything is good with me he tells her happily and i'm just chillin i've just finished catching up with games of throne.

They talk for a few minutes more before she tells him i'm tired i'm going to bed he asks her if she wants company or tucked in and she forces a laugh and tells him no thanks i'm good they say goodnight and hang up.

She tries hard to finish watching scandal but what she had talked about with Urbana earlier and her conversations and texts with Bruno the last 2 days ran through her head and she knew the flirting that had been going on between them had to stop she didn't want to give him mixed messages and it was messing with her head to be honest.

He stared at his phone wishing he was still talking to CeCe something had been off with her tonight he sighed, maybe she was just tired Bruno hoped that was all it was because he had enjoyed talking on the phone with her and texting with her the last 2 days.
