Chapter 17: science partners

Gene's PoV

I saw Zane across the street from me, he was walking with his two brothers to school, while I was walking alone.

I sighed, but I continued to stare at him. His raven black hair slightly blowing in the wind, as his baby blue eyes shone in the sunlight and his adorable face holding an somewhat annoyed expression.

Although I didn't want to look away my gaze was soon torn from Zane once I saw Sasha and Zenix approach me.

"Hi," I said to them

"Hey," Sasha said

We continued walking to school silently, every once in awhile I'd glance over at Zane then quickly back away.

"So are we skipping today or are you going to class?" Sasha asked as we walked

" I don't feel like going to class," Zenix said

" well um you two can skip, I have to go to class today," I said

"Okay?" Sasha said unsure

Once we got o school we waited till the doors opened then we went our separate ways.

I looked at my timetable.

I sighed, At least half of them were with Zane.

Time skip ( home room )

I walked in and sat in the back of the room.

Of course the teacher was late like usual.

" okay guys, today I want everyone to behave in all of there classes and have a great day," she said her usual speech as she stood at the front of the class

"Yes miss," everyone replied, except me

I zoned out.

I can't wait to see Zane's face again. Wait how long till the end of home room cuz I'm hungry. Hungry for Zane- I mean what!

"Gene!"

I was snapped out of my thoughts by my home room teacher trying to get my attention.

"Y-yes?" I answered

"Home room finished five minutes ago," she said

"O-oh right," I said, getting up and leaving the room

Time skip ( English )

Great another's hour of boredom, at least this class I shared with Zane, but the white haired boy is in this class too.  swear he better not try anything.

Only one minute into the class and I was already staring at Zane.

I don't know why or how I fell in love with Zane of all people, but I know he's mine and I love him with all my heart. Maybe I am a little too possessive though.

He didn't turn around and continued talking to Trashvis, I felt the jealousy boil inside of me but I pushed it down when Zane finally did look at me.

I smirked and winked at him, which caused his face to go red as he quickly looked away from me.

Time skip ( to science)

I sat alone in the back while Zane sat in the front with kitty and Trashvis.

I sighed

"Alright class, so today we will have to do a project," our teacher started

"Usually, I would pick the partners, but for the sake of this fanfic imma let you pick you're own," she said

Ok weird.

" hey Travis wanna be with me," I heard Aphmau say

I looked over at them.

"Sure! But what about Zane?" He said

"Oh, he'll be fine," She said smirking at me, I felt my face heat up

Zane turned back too and blushed.

"Are you sure because we can ask to work in a three?" Travis said

"I'll be fine," Zane said, getting up and walking over to me

As Zane took a seat next to me I saw the look of jealousy on Trashvis's face, which kinda made me feel happy.
