Potions

They sat in the Great Hall again this morning. Both pissed at each other.

They had woke up later than usual and had very little time for breakfast, then they bumped into each other trying to rush to breakfast. Both were already in a bad mood and seeing each other made them even more pissed.

The table was louder than usual. The two were currently fighting when Rose handed both of them a cup of water.

"Your throats are going to be soar if you don't drink this while you fight." She sighed and shook her head.

Mireya eyed her suspiciously but Al had already gulped down his water appreciatively. Mireya followed afterwards, sipping it slowly until nothing was left.

"Why do you two always fight?" Rose suddenly questioned.

"Because if we don't fight then we'll have no reason to talk.""I want to talk to her."

The two answered at the same time, immediately regretting what they said.

Mireya quickly bit her tongue and avoided looking at Al while Al suddenly found his feet very interesting.

"What the hell did you give them?" James suddenly questioned when an awkward silence came over.

"Oh, nothing really. They're just speaking their minds. Ask them a question, James." Rose smiled confusedly at her brother.

"Alright. Al, did you eat dad's chocolate in the fridge last summer?" James grinned.

"Yes." Al immediately said and slapped his mouth, swearing colorfully.

"I knew it! Hah!" James pointed at Al and laughed.

"Rose!" Mireya suddenly shouted.

"I have to confess something! I forgot to return your Arithmancy book last year!" Then Mireya slapped herself.

"I feel the need to leave this table this instance!" Al suddenly shouted and started walking out the Great Hall awkwardly. The rest watched him go, but he came running back, grabbed Mireya's hands and ran out with her.

Then the two stopped in front of potions class, their first class of the day. They had 20 minutes until class started.

"I don't want to let go." Al suddenly said and then blushed.

"Don't let go then." It was Mireya's turn to blush like mad.

She couldn't let go of Al's hands. Probably a side affect of the truth potion. They should have known better, Rose slipped a truth potion in their drinks.

"We can only speak the truth to each other." Al suddenly said and face palmed, his left hand still in Mireya's right hand.

"Yes. I really want to say something mean to continue the conversation right now." Mireya blushed.

Al laughed and smiled at her, he never smiled at her like that when she was looking.

"Smile like that more. Your eyes are really beautiful. You're like a magnet." Mireya suddenly said, her mouth failing her.

"You make me laugh and smile. I really like the way you're confident. And I'm about to do something really stupid but I can't stop myself, I hope you understand." Al replied, blushing.

Then he pushed her up against the wall.

And kissed her hard.
