Chapter2:

Jiji focused and put the tips of his fingers together, concentrating hard, "I'm ready, Momo!". I knew it!" Exclaimed Aira, jumping out from behind the stairwell hut, " You are building a demon army! ". "No we're not Aira! We're getting rid of evil eye!" Shouted Momo. "I know what you're doing, your about to summon an army from the depths of hell!". "Shush everyone, I'm trying to concentrate" . They stared as Jiji started waving his arms about in a strange pattern of movement, and all of a sudden all the unlit candles roared to life. The fire swirled round Jiji, Momo was trying her best to keep herself from being blown away. The tips of the fire met and swirled above Jiji turning black before an ear-splitting scream ran through their ears. The black shot of into the air, and the force blew out all the candles. 

 "Jijj?" Momo asked, " What just happened? ". Okarun was on the floor staring in amazement,  "Is, Is evil eye gone?". "Jiji paused, "Nah, he's still there," . Aira gasped, "Your spreading your evil across the whole of Japan using your demon minions from hell!" Momo ignored her, " If evil eye's still in Jiji, then what happened? " . "um, Jiji, Where did you learn that....thing you just did?" Okarun asked. "Oh I learnt it on Bootube," replied Jiji, (silence....) " Why did you use a ritual, of whatever it was, from Bootube Jiji! " yelled Momo. "I don't see what I did wrong," stated Jiji obliviously. Okarun looked up at the sky where the fire had dissapeared ,"Who knows what that could have been," . "Whatever it was we need to find it, and quickly" said Momo looking wary. "We can't go looking for it now, it's nearly the end of break, plus our attendance isn't great at the moment," Okarun warned. "Fine, after school," .

After school; " we ain't gettin' anywhere! " complained Momo dragging her feet. "You were the one so insistent on coming!" Argued Okarun, "I'm bored now though! Who knew looking for a dumb fire was so exhausting! I'm going home,". " But miss ayase.... " Okarun pleaded, as he watched her walk away, " You can keep looking' if you want, I'll look with ya tomorrow, after school, " she said.

 "What?!" Exclaimed Momo, "Ya heard what I said, we need to leave tonight and head to Kyoto," . "But I told Okarun I'd meet up with him tomorrow!" Complained Momo. "You can handle a few days away," Sieko said lighting a fresh cigarette, " Now go up an' pack, ".

 "You ready Momo?" . "Yeah...." Momo signed as she dragged her bag down the stairs, tomorrow Okarun would be expecting her to look for that black fire with him, and she wouldn't be there. SNORE, Momo looked down, "Should we wake up turbo granny?" Momo asked staring at the cat as she slept with one leg in the air. "Nah, leave her,". Sieko said turning to the door, "Alright, works for me," she said sleepily walking Outside the door.

Outside the school gate; Okarun was waiting for Momo, where is she? She's usually first! "Hey! Okarun!", Okarun looked up to see Momo , "Miss ayase," . "Since when did you speak to me formally?" Momo asked curiously. " But I've always called you miss ayase.... ", " Sure, " Momo replied, " Come on! ".

In class; What was she talking about? Why didn't she mention the black fire? These thoughts wandered through his head blocking out whatever his teacher was talking about. Something's not right.... RRIIIIIINNNGGGG!! Okarun snapped back to reality, he'd just talk to Momo.

 Rooftop; "Momo?". "Waassaaaap!". " Jiji! " Okarun grabbed him and pulled him behind the stairwell hut, " Jiji, does Momo seem weird to you? ". " wait, what about Momo? ". "Takakura!" Okarun turned around to see Aira, " Oh, miss Shiratori! ". "Why're you here?" . "Waiting for Momo of course! I'll catch her just as she's about to summon more demons!!" . Okarun cannot believe that she still thinks Momo's a demon! "Hey, isn't Momo coming?" Jiji asks interrupting the silence. They had agreed to meet here to look for clues on the black fire, " I don't know, ". "She could be anywhere," yelled Aira, "we've got to find her before she summons THE DEMON KING!!"

 "Operation spy on Momo is go!!" Says Aira and Jiji in unison . " wait, guys.... ".
