Part 2

The next morning I woke up and turned over. I sniffed the air. This isn't my room. I started to panic when I remembered Kota and last night. I looked at where the roll away bed would be and didn't see anything. I looked around the room. It was empty. I pulled the covers over my head thinking about last night. Is Kota a friend? Would he find out about me and think I was a freak like my mom and Marie do? Would my mom find out? I was still thinking when I heard light footsteps on the stairs. I stayed under the covers hoping he would think I was still asleep, I wasn't ready to see him yet; I had so many unanswered questions running through my head. I heard the steps coming closer and stop by the bed. By the sounds of it, there was more than one person. I heard sniggering from whoever was there. The covers suddenly flew back and cold water hit me in the face. The laughing stopped when they saw it was me.

"OY! You're not Kota." There were two boys stood above me. One had crystal blue eyes with brown hair with two bits at the front dyed blond. He also had two orange earrings in his lobes and three black rings on his right ear. The other boy had long blond hair nearly to his shoulders with mischievous brown eyes. I just stared at both of them.

"Do you think she talks?" The boy with blond hair says to the other boy. I heard footsteps on the stairs and the door opened to reveal Kota. He looked at me soaked in water then at the boys who each had a bucket in their hands.

"Who the fuck is this and why is she in your bed?" the boy with brown hair asks. Kota looks at him for a minute looking like he was communicating with him with his eyes.

"Sang do you have any clothes in your bag?"

"Yeah I do."

"OK go and change. I told my mom that you had come over this morning and you are now in my bathroom, she said that you could stay for breakfast if you wanted."

"OK, thanks." I quickly went into the bathroom and got changed.

When I exited the bathroom no one was in the room. I went down the stairs and followed the voices to the kitchen. There was a woman stood by the stove flipping pancakes. At the table sat Kota, the two boys from earlier and a girl with pink rimmed glasses. The woman spotted me and smiled,

"Hi, I'm Erica, Dakota's mom. You obviously have met Gabe and Luke and this is Kota's sister Jessica." I wonder which one is which. The boy with brown hair held up one finger, the other boy with blond hair held up two fingers when Erica's back was turned. So the boy with brown hair and earrings was Gabe and Luke was the blond haired boy.

"I heard that you like chocolate chip pancakes." Erica said. I saw Luke grin when he heard that.

"Yeah."

"Well dig in." She said putting the plate down on the table. The boys all went to take a pancake but Erica slapped their hands away.

"Ladies first." I sat down and picked a pancake up smiling at Erica.

"What are you all doing today?" She asked.

"Everyone was going to meet at Nathan's and have a pool party." Kota replied. Erica smiled. The rest of breakfast we talked and laughed. It felt like a real family, which I was not used to. When we had finished breakfast Erica told me that I was welcome whenever. I had to hold my tears back, my own family didn't want me, and this stranger who I had known for 30 minutes was already asking me to come back. I said goodbye and we all went outside.

"Are you going to tell us why she was in your bed now?"

"Max knocked her over." He simply replied. I had to get back so my mom wouldn't find out.

"Thanks for everything," I said walking towards my house.

"HEY!" I heard Gabe shout. I turned around. "We are having a pool party at a friend's if you want to come."

"It's just up there." Kota said pointing to a house up the street.

"OK. I just need to go home and get my suit." I said with a smile.

"OK, see you there." They said before walking up the street. I made my way up the drive and to the door into the kitchen. I listened to see if my mom was out of bed. I didn't hear anything so I went in and up to my room. I got my suit out and changed and then went back downstairs. I went to my parent's room and looked in. My mom was knocked out on the bed. I went into the kitchen and got a yogurt and crackers and put them by her bed. I made my way out of the house and up to the house they pointed to.

I went up to the door and knocked. I heard a shuffling from inside the house. The door opened. A boy who looked my age stood there. He had reddish brown hair and blue eyes with bulky muscles. He only wore a pair of red swimming trunks.

"Can I help you?" He asked.

"Nathan who's at the door?" I heard Gabe shout from in the house.

"A girl." He replied. Gabe came around the corner. He was wearing a pair of orange swimming trunks.

"Sang! You made it!" I smiled.

"Sang, this is Nathan, Nathan this is Sang, Luke and I found her in Kota's bed." Nathan looked surprised.

"Max knocked me over and then they covered me in water to wake me up." I said. Nathan laughed.

"We thought you were Kota." Gabe whines playfully. Kota came around the corner. He was wearing a pair of green swimming trunks.

"Hi. You made it!"

"Yep." I replied.

"The others will be here soon." He informed me.

"OK," I followed them outside to the pool. Luke was in the pool in a pair of light blue swimming trunks. He swam to the edge of the pool and pulled himself out of the pool.

"Hi. I don't think we have been introduced properly. I am Lucian Taylor, everyone calls me Luke." He said kissing my hand. I blushed.

"Gabriel Coleman." He said kissing my other hand. I probably looked like a walking tomato now. They both still had a hold of my hands. They looked at each other over my head. I was suddenly picked up in the air and thrown into the pool in my clothes and all. Luckily I had my suit on underneath. I came up spluttering. I swam to the edge and pulled myself up. My clothes were soaking wet. I pulled them off quickly, leaving my suit on. I smiled at Luke and Gabe. I walked up to Luke and put my hand on his chest. I was distracted momentarily by the feel of his chest under my hands. I pushed. He lost his balance and was trying to grab onto something but I was slippery from the water. He grabbed for Gabe who wasn't expecting it so he fell in as well as Luke. Nathan and Kota were laughing behind me. I turned around and saw that Nathan had his phone out and was recording everything. Both boys came up a moment later, grinning. They both quickly swam to the edge and pulled themselves out of the pool and ran towards me. I ran away from them around the pool. They split up and cornered me, they picked me up and walked back to the pool.

"One," Luke started.

"Two," Gabe says.

"Three." Luke finished. They threw me into the pool. I swam to the end of the pool and touched the end.

"I won." I said smiling. "What do I get?"

"Oy, that's cheating! If you want to race you just have to say." Gabe said jumping into the pool. I heard the front door open and close. Three more boys came out of the house followed by Kota. One was tall with big muscles. He had an olive complexion; dark hair and deep brown nearly black eyes. The second boy was tall but not as tall as the first boy, he had dark hair and dark eyes, and he was wearing all black. The last boy was slighter than Kota he had wavy brown hair and I could see the fire in his brown eyes from here.

"About time little brother." Luke said. The boy wearing black just grunted and glared at him. I looked to him and back to Luke. They were brothers? Luke saw my confusion and said,

"We're step brothers." Oh, that explained it.

"Sang this is Silas, North, Luke's brother and Victor. Guys this is Sang." Kota said pointing to each of them. Silas grinned at me, North just grunted with a small smile on his face and Victor smiled.

"Hi Aggele mou." Silas said. He had an accent.

"What does that mean?" I asked.

"It's Greek for my angel." So he was Greek. They went back into the house and came back in their trunks. North had on black trunks, Silas had on dark blue trunks and Victor had on grey trunks.

We all messed around and raced for the rest of the afternoon. The boys were fast. There was favors for the people who won; I had to go shopping with Gabe, I had to watch a zombie movie with Nathan, give Silas a hug (which I liked), I had to make dessert for Luke, Kota wanted to drive me to school every day, North wanted to take me to school once on his bike and Victor wanted to sit next to me if we had any classes together. I hadn't won any races but I didn't care, I had only known these boys for a day and we had already become good friends. I had made the dessert and was waiting for North to finish grilling the burgers; I was sitting on a lounger near the grill when one burger caught on fire. I don't know why but my wolf hates fire and usually freaks out whenever there is one. I felt Melody trying to come out, but I didn't want the boys to think I was a freak so I was stopping her from shifting. North quickly put the fire out and turned to me.

"You OK?" North asked. I was stood up with my back to him and my eyes closed.

"Yeah, I'm fine."

"You sure?"

"Yeah." I said turning around. Melody was a lot calmer now.

"OK, well lunch is ready."

"OK, I'm just going to go and change out of my suit." I went into the bathroom and locked the door behind me. Melody needs to calm down otherwise they are going to think I'm a freak. I changed out of my suit and put my now dry clothes back on.

I made my way back outside I was just going to step outside when I saw all the boys in a cluster. I listened to what they were saying.

"... You should have seen her when the burger caught alight, her eyes changed to a golden yellow." I heard North say.

"Yeah that happened last night." Kota said. I gasped. They all thought I was a freak. I turned around and ran out the front door. I heard footsteps following me. I pushed myself faster. I ran towards the woods, once I was out of sight I shifted tearing my clothes. I pushed myself to go even faster. I felt the wind rush through my fur. Once I was a way into the woods I stopped in a clearing.

I was about to turn around and head back when I heard a twig snap. I kept running away from my house. I felt a force tackle me to the ground. I tried to shake whatever was on top of me off. I struggled a bit longer until I finally gave up. The force got off of me. I stood up and shook my fur out. I turned to see what had attacked me. It was a black wolf. I looked around the clearing. There were six other wolves and they were all in a circle so I couldn't run away and were all bigger than me. The black wolf went to stand with the other wolves. One of the wolves which was white, black and brown went into the woods and 2 minutes later Kota came out from behind the tree the wolf just went behind. He was just wearing a pair of shorts. If I was in my human form I would definitely be blushing.

"Sang, I have a shirt you can put on. Can you please go and shift back?" He held the shirt out and I took it in my mouth. I went behind a tree and changed back. I pulled the shirt over my head; it reached to halfway down my thighs. I stepped out from behind the tree. Kota smiled.

"Sang, why did you run?"

"I thought you all thought I was a freak."

"Why would we do that? We are exactly like you, that is North's wolf West," he said pointing to the black wolf that tackled me, "that is Luke's wolf Reese," he said pointing to an all white wolf, "that is Gabe's wolf Style," he said pointing to a golden brown wolf, "that is Victor's wolf Theo," he said pointing to a grey and white wolf, "that is Nathan's wolf Lobo," he said pointing to a red and black wolf, "and this is Silas' wolf Lykos." He said pointing to a black and brown wolf. "My wolf is called Pi. Go and change back," he said to the boys. They all went behind trees and came back out in their human forms in shorts.

"We need to talk to doc." Gabe said.

"I don't want them to know about her yet." Kota replies.

"We need to introduce them at some point."

"OK, call doc." Victor gets his phone out and calls this person.

"Hey doc... no, I didn't miss you... no, no one is hurt... can you come to Nathan's? It would be easier to talk to you in person... I'm sure that I just don't miss your awesomeness and want to see you... Thanks, Bye." The boys were laughing at this doc person.

"He and Mr Blackbourne are on their way." Victor informed us.

"OK, everyone walk back to Nathan's." All of the boys started to walk back the way I came. North came up to me.

"Are you OK baby? I didn't hurt you did I?"

"Nope, I'm fine." I said smiling at him.

"Sure?"

"I'm sure."
