As Monday comes along and the clock strikes 5:30 am, Justin leaves the house for his first day back at work.

Elianna, obviously unhappy about this, stays up and takes care of the baby, taking a few naps when she can before waking to take care of all the children around 7:30 am.

"Mama, where's daddy?" Kameron asks as the family is sitting down for breakfast.

"Daddy went to work," she answers shortly.

"Oh." Kameron sighs, eating his food.

Elianna knew she would never understand why Justin insisted on going back to work so early. The baby isn't even two weeks old and he couldn't wait to get out of the house in the morning. Was he turning into a workaholic? What was going to happen next? These were all the things going through Elianna's head as the three children sat at the table eating breakfast and the baby sat comfortably in her swing. She would just never understand.

Making her way through the morning, she's exhausted and relieved when the kids go to their rooms for quiet time. She takes the time to go to her own, place the baby in her bassinet and take a short nap, needing the energy for the rest of the day.

By the time Brayden cries out, letting her know he's ready to get up, Elianna had been able to take an hour and a half long nap, the baby surprisingly staying asleep the entire time.

Leaving her room, she gets Brayden and the kids out of their rooms, leaving Abrielle in the snoo for the time being and turning on the baby monitor as she spends this time making lunch for the kids and waking herself up with yet another cup of coffee... Yeah, she'll definitely have to pump before giving Abrielle a boob.

Later, as the kids are getting hungry again and Abrielle has breastfed, Elianna puts some seasoning on some chicken she had in the fridge and puts it in the oven. Not knowing whether or not Justin will be home for dinner, she sets him a place setting anyway, getting a salad ready along with some mashed potatoes and carrots.

When the chicken is done, she takes it out of the oven and begins cutting it up for the kids as the front door opens and slams shut.

"Daddy!" Kameron screams.

"Daddy!" Elena follows... then Brayden.

"Hey guys," Justin tells them, sounding exhausted before walking into the kitchen. "Oh, you made dinner."

"Mhm," she replies, finishing her last bit of chicken and separating it onto three plates for the children. She then dishes out some carrots and mashed potatoes, putting the plates on the table at each of their places.

"Kids, come eat!" she calls out.

"It smells good," Justin tells her, walking back into the room after he had gone to change into shorts and a tee.

"Thanks."

"I'm gonna take mine to the office, I still have so much to do," he tells her.

She doesn't answer. Instead, she blows a breath out of her nose and nods to herself, irritated with herself for thinking, even for a second, that he'd come home and spend time with his family.

Justin leaves with his plate, going to the office as Elianna nurses Abrielle instead of eating, knowing that if she goes any longer she'll throw a fit.

After nursing, Elianna holds Abrielle with one arm while eating with the other, yawning multiple times as she does so.

Once dinner is finished, she lets the kids spend some time with Abrielle as she cleans up, putting the leftovers away, doing the dishes and wiping down the table and counters.

"Okay guys, let's go get a bath."

"I want daddy to give us a bath tonight," Kameron asks.

"Go ask him, he's in the study."

"Okay!" Kameron exclaims, running off towards the study before coming back a moment later with a frown.

Elianna sighs, knowing he said no. "He can't tonight?"

"He said he has a lot of work to do." Kameron answers.

Elianna nods, pressing her lips together. "Alright, come on, let's go get a bath everyone.

"Mama, can I get a bath with Abrielle?" she asks.

"Yes, baby, you can get a bath with Abrielle," Elianna replies. "Go play until the boys are done."

"Yay!" she exclaims.

Soon, the boys are done with their bath and dressed for bed, letting Elianna turn on a movie and order them to sit and watch it while she gives the baby a bath.

"Come on Elena," she says, making her follow her to the bathroom with Abrielle.

Grabbing the baby bathtub that sits in the bigger one, she fills it first and plugs it before filling the bigger tub just enough.

After bathing the girls as well, she gets them dressed in their pajamas and nurses Abrielle before watching the rest of the movie with the kids and putting them to bed... alone.

"Are you going to say goodnight to the kids?" Elianna asks, poking her head into Justin's office.

"Mhm." He hums, not paying attention.

She rolls her eyes, closing the door a little harder than she normally would and goes up to their bedroom with the baby. After nursing once more, (it had been about an hour and a half), she puts Abrielle down for the night before quickly showering and climbing into bed. Before long, she falls asleep, the other side of the bed not being filled until almost midnight.
