"Kagami?" Everyone freezes, her head turns slowly to her brother who was giving her an odd look.

She was dressed up and her life was over. Kagami suddenly started looking around, trying to find the best way out of this situation. She starts to speed walk straight ahead, choosing to just ignore her brother.

"Kagami?" She doesn't reply, she just stares ahead as she speeds ahead, dust picking up behind her and shielding her from view.

Everyone stays silent for a moment.

"It's okay Kakashi, I have some photos."

Kagami bowes to Yoshino and gives Shikaku and Shikamaru a nod, thanking them for letting her stay.

"I apologise for any inconvenience I have caused over the last few days." Kagami is leaving in an hour or so.

"There was no inconvenience whatsoever! You are even leaving earlier than we anticipated." Yoshino steps forward and gives Kagami a hug, surprising the said girl immensely.

Kagami just stands there, waiting for it to be over. Yoshino steps back and smiles brightly.

"I'll go get your clothes, I washed them and patched them up the best I could!" Kagami was surprised at this, not used to people doing things for her.

"Thank you," she mumbles lightly, nodding to the two men again. "I will get your clothes to you then Shikamaru, if I change back into mine I'll be able to give them to you before I leave."

Kagami makes a move to go back to her bedroom but Shikamaru grabs her hand, stopping her.

"It's fine, just bring them back another day." Kagami nods lightly, turning back to the two. "Troublesome woman."

Shikaku laughs lightly at his son, "You aren't going to get any girl if you call them all troublesome Shika."

He throws his arm around his son's shoulders and smiles widely at him.

"Dad!" Shikamaru looks away from the two, trying to get his father to stop while a blush slowly rises to his face.

Yoshino bustles back into the room.

"Here we are! Your clothes just for you. Also, I thought I would give you the dress as well, I don't wear it and you looked so nice in it last night." Kagami doesn't know what to say in return.

She really doesn't want the dress, but she didn't want to upset Yoshino after all she had done for her. So she politely bows to her again and lightly grabs the clothes from her.

A light knock comes from the door, making everyone turn to it. Yoshino runs forward and opens it to show Kakashi with a small smile on his lips.

"Here to take Kagami off your hands." Yoshino smiles at him and lets him in, giving her husband a deadly glare.

"Ah Kakashi, good to have you. It's okay Kagami was a perfectly good child." Everyone sweat drops at the man. Kagami gives him a blank stare before walking over to her brother, ready to leave.

Though she would never admit it, she did enjoy her time at the Nara's, she had made some newfound friendships. But she was more than happy to finally be home and in her own bed, she had found herself missing her brother more than anyone.

They leave the Nara household without anymore waiting and wave back at the family watching them go.

Kagami gives a little sigh as she walks along the road.

"I see you survived." Kakashi chuckles as he looks down at his sister, he had missed her as well, he was used to being alone and even though Kagami didn't really talk much he felt the house was a little lonely just by himself.

"There were moments I didn't think I would. But then I remembered that then there would be no one to frame for murder if I kill the little brats." Her voice stays perfectly stable.

At the start of the sentence Kakashi was hopeful, and by the end he was still hopeful for himself but maybe not others. He decides not to say anything and just sticks to placing his hand on her head and giving her hair a little ruffle.

Kagami looks up at him in shock.

'Has he gone mad? Or have I while I was locked away?'

'I think a little bit of both wouldn't be wrong.'

'I would have to say that I am finding myself agreeing with you.'

'Wow . . . . that's a first. Seriously, I don't think that has ever happened before.'

'Bye Mussy.'

'NO! NOT THAT STUPID NICKNAME AGAIN! I THOUGHT YOU HAD FORGOTTEN ABOUT IT!'

'Never.'

Kagami suddenly feels vengeful and jumps onto Kakashi, flattening his hair completely against his head and tucking it into his headband. She jumps off him and leans over to look at him.

'He looks absolutely stupid. I love it.'

Kakashi now gives his sister a look of surprise, his eyes wide and hair sticking out over them. He then shakes his head at her smirk and pulls it out of the headband. It flings straight back up into its previous position causing Kagami's smirk to drop faster then Itachi Uchiha's reputation.

'I will get his hair, if it's the last thing I do before I die, I will mess it up.'

"So why did you run away from me yesterday?"

Kagami falls face-first into her bed, her belongings placed haphazardly around the room. She wanted to sleep for days, to miss the exams. They didn't even matter, they don't affect her or her rank in any way. Tomorrow was the final test and she is not as prepared as she wants to be.

She just recovered from a lethal injury. If she hadn't she could probably chop anyones head off. But her leg is still healing and is a weak point for anyone who notices it. She chooses to not train today, but to just do a few strength exercises and stretching. Some simply throwing kunai up and down in her hands while reading something or stretching.

She bargains on the fact that she will be fighting against Kankuro from the Sand. He uses dirty tricks. Though Shino could easily destroy the puppets with his bugs, Kagami highly doubts that Kankuro would let bugs anywhere near his puppets. Or he could have already ulted his puppet to accommodate invasion.

Kagami keeps thinking of possibilities of who she may fight tomorrow, but she finds that her thoughts keep wandering off to a dark haired boy she had just spent the last few days living with. She sighs and puts everything down, not being able to concentrate at all.

'Kagami.'

'Yes, Yua?'

'Do you perhaps think that you have feelings towards a certain boy.'

'Hm? Who would that boy be if I liked him?'

'He has very spiky hair, it's one of his trademarks.'

'Kakashi? I do have feelings for him, he is my brother. Siblings are supposed to love each other.'

'No Kagami,' The beast deadpans dramatically from within the girl. 'I mean romantic feelings.'

'It is disgusting of you to suggest such a thing to take place between siblings.'

'NO!' Yua almost has a heart attack from the girl's answer. She is so oblivious it hurts her guardians heart. 'Not your brother, do you believe you like another boy, preferably not related to you, that has spiky hair that you like?'

'. . . . .'

' . . . . '

'Yua are you trying to get at something?'

'No, I am trying to get you to realise your feelings before it is too late.'

'Yua, you know fair and well that I do not own emotions. I feel close to a select group of people but I do not have emotions.'

'Kagami, you know fair and well that you do. Ever since you left the Foundation these people have been opening you up and getting into your heart. Yes you don't show emotion and i can bet that you never will. But you will have emotion within you.'

'Yua.'

'You will hold people dear to your heart and you will protect those people with your life.'

' . . . . .'

Yua sighs as Kagami severs the connection between the two again. The girl will never learn in her eyes. But what neither of those two know, is that Kagami already has people close to her heart that she would protect with her life.

She already has people she keeps a place in her heart for. She already has people that make her feel emotions she hasn't felt ever in her memory, not even once. But she will never let those people know, because too much is riding on her.

Too much is riding on how her life has been planned and set out for her. She has orders to follow, and she will follow them. She has people she has wanted to protect for years, people that watched over her in the Root. People she had joint missions with that she forged relationships.

More like the one boy she forged a relationship. The one boy that let her watch the stars at night from his apartment. The boy that disobeys direct orders to let her wander at night. The boy that taught her emotion and sibling love. A boy she has not seen in over five years but still longs to hear from him.

A man that was ordered to not only ruin her, but chose to save her as well.

But also, she has a boy with dark spiky hair, that has taken a fairly large space in her heart. And Kagami believes that it would be selfish if he didn't give her that space in return.

Would you look at that, we are finally back onto the main storyline.
