Chapter 4.

New morning.

Bora and Siyeon walked out of the motel. Bora looked at the clear blue sky for a while then turned to look at Siyeon. The two had no money left, two old clothes were still on, along with a blue Maybach and a gun inside.

Siyeon was looked at until every cell was punctured. She felt embarrassed because she didn't understand why Bora looked at her for so long.

The weather looks so beautiful today, does it mean something good is about to happen?

- Why... do you keep looking at me like that?

- I've found a way to get money - Bora gave Siyeon a passionate look.

- What is that?

- The earrings in your ears are diamonds, right?

Siyeon was surprised, suddenly realizing the meaning of that fiery stare.

There was a hollow puddle in her heart, feeling extremely disappointed.

Daybreak gold shop.

- Hmm...these earrings look beautiful - the gold shop owner looked at the sparkling object before his eyes.

- How much can be sold? – Bora asked directly.

- 2 million won.

- Okay, I sell it.

The Maybach car drove across the road.

- Sing, what do you want to eat now? I'll take you out to eat - Bora said excitedly.

- Just act like you've earned a large amount of money, those earrings are mine - Siyeon scowled.

Bora laughed, with the money in hand, both of them would live for about half a month. She drove into the nearest city center, went to a clothing store, and bought two new sets of clothes for both of them.

Siyeon walked out of the fitting room, wearing a backless camisole combined with baggy jeans and sneakers.

- Now let's go eat - Bora chose a new set of clothes for herself, a short belly-exposing shirt and long black pants. She grabbed Siyeon's hand and pulled Siyeon away.

This action surprised the other person very much.

The two went to a very private restaurant, the space only had yellow lights to create privacy and mystery.

The meal became many times more delicious because both of them were starving from last night. Bora ate a lot of rice and Siyeon ate a lot of food, she didn't finish her rice. Bora saw that and took the initiative to take Siyeon's rice to her plate, then picked up a lot of food for Siyeon

Siyeon glanced at Bora and saw that she ate a lot but didn't eat much variety. There are 5 plates of food on the table but she only eats 2 dishes, it seems like Bora is a picky eater. Kim Bora has a small and skinny figure. A quick glance is enough to know that Siyeon looks healthier than Bora.

Bora had to go through a very difficult life to be like this, thinking about this again Siyeon couldn't help but feel sorry for her. From last night until now Siyeon has had mixed emotions, sometimes she wants to get to know this person, sometimes she wants to hate Bora, sometimes she has expectations, then she's disappointed. Her insides were like a roller coaster with ups and downs.

Kim Bora dragged her around like that, she didn't know the exact reason. But there's one thing she's sure of, and that's that Bora doesn't have any special feelings for her.

That made Siyeon unhappy, because for the first time she was strongly impressed by someone, for the first time she dared to take the initiative with that person, she had never acted like that, but that person did not reciprocate. Her feelings were as she wished.

After eating and drinking, the Maybach drove off on the way to a very far away place, feeling like no one would know them in this area.

Go to a remote place, with few houses and people, there are a few public phone booths there.

Bora pulled Siyeon out of the car and led her by the hand towards the phone booth, she stuffed in a 500 won coin, then coldly gave an order.

Bora snatched the phone from Siyeon and started talking.

This action was extremely cold and heartless, Siyeon was dragged away uncomfortably. The whole day passed very awkwardly even though the two didn't talk to each other, as if everyone wanted to say something but chose not to say it.

Bora mentioned an address that she accidentally saw and memorized when on the way to the area where the phone booth was located, where she made an appointment with Mr. Lee. From now until then, she will rent a hotel room nearby to stay temporarily.

This time she rented a room with 2 beds.

Siyeon played silent from beginning to end, not wanting to say anything more. Yesterday she talked to Bora for a few words, she was curious and asked about Bora, but today she stopped. She was starting to regret targeting Bora, inviting Bora to her birthday party and getting caught up in this trouble.

At night, there was only a small yellow light in the room. Siyeon turned to look at Bora. She was sleeping, on the head of the bed was the gun stolen from the police.

Siyeon wondered if her father didn't bring money to save her, what Bora would do, would Bora plan to kill her or what….

She had another extremely difficult night sleeping.

- Sing, go to sleep - Bora said without opening her eyes, her voice was low.

Bora turned to look at Siyeon, confused and not knowing what the other person's intentions were. The two left a space of silence, Bora stared at Siyeon, and Siyeon knew the other person was looking at her so she absentmindedly looked away.

- Why are you looking at me like that? I have nothing left of value that can be sold anymore.

Bora burst out laughing at Siyeon's silly statement.

- Is it true that there is nothing left to sell?

Siyeon shivered, an impure thought flashed through her head. She immediately turned her back on Bora to hide her inner turmoil.

The silence that followed was so long that they both fell asleep.

The next morning, Bora woke up early and called Siyeon up, the two went to the agreed place, Maison intersection.

- You go to the electric pole and stand, I'll sit in the car - Bora ordered coldly.

Siyeon didn't know what to do, she just had to obey. When she was about to get out of the car, Bora grabbed her hand and held her back.

- Take this with you for protection, put it inside your waistband - Bora stuffed the gun into Siyeon's hand.

Siyeon still didn't understand, so she just followed and walked out. She nervously stood next to the electric pole at the intersection, looking around to see if there was anyone familiar. On her body was the outfit she bought yesterday, the only difference was the jacket that Bora had just bought for her. It's early morning, there are only about 5 people walking around this area. Waiting so long and not seeing any signs, Siyeon glanced towards Bora. She saw a man walking towards a blue Maybach car, seemingly a police officer.

- BORA

*DANG*

Siyeon unconsciously screamed and pointed the gun straight at the police officer, she pulled the trigger. The policeman was shot in the elbow, quickly hugged his arm and fell down. Everyone around was startled and screamed. Siyeon was scared and ran towards Bora and got into the car.

- Run quickly.

Bora frantically pressed the accelerator and sped away. Just now, she was busy observing Siyeon, only worried that something bad would happen to Siyeon, so she always kept Siyeon in her sight.

Indeed, when Siyeon stepped out of the car, the distance between her and Siyeon was much farther than in the past 2 days, so she was suddenly worried.

So she's worried about this girl, even though she's the one who's more likely to be in danger...

Lee Siyeon is a hostage, and she is a person wanted by the police...

Because she was only observing Siyeon, she didn't know someone was approaching her. It wasn't until she heard Siyeon scream and the gunshot rang out that she saw the police officer.

The Maybach car was running on the road like a moth. Bora did not expect that in the last 2 days she had to drive a lot, something she rarely did in the past, she was even turning the accelerator at full throttle.

After 2 hours, when the two of them had completely left Sacheon city, Bora stopped the car and rented a hotel room to rest.

This time renting a room with a double bed, Bora was the one who chose this room after listening to the recommendation from the hotel receptionist. The two entered the room and sat next to each other on the bed, an arm's length away, neither one daring to look at the other nor daring to mention anything.

The silence almost squeezed the space, Bora had to speak...

- You...why did you save me?

- So why did you give me the self-defense gun? – Siyeon asked back, her voice very confident.

- Hmm…it's just…I thought someone would come to hurt you.

- The only person who can hurt me is you, Kim Bora.

- You took me hostage, you always held that gun, like you were going to shoot me if I ran away, and now you give me the gun because you're afraid someone will hurt me?

- I know my thoughts are unreasonable - Bora lowered her head, unable to deny anything anymore.

Siyeon sighed.

- So my father didn't help save me, but sent the police there to arrest you.

- I would have been arrested if you hadn't opened fire - Bora mumbled, her hands clasped together, her fingers fidgeting, she was so confused in this conversation even though she didn't know where it came from.

- But I saved you, you should thank me, right?

- Hmm...thank you - Bora said shyly, she didn't dare look Siyeon straight in the face and she knew that girl was staring at her.

- So what do you think now, your plan to rob my family’s money has failed.

Bora felt heavy, she had no intention of using tricks to rob someone of money. She received 500 million won because she accidentally met that international criminal. She chose Siyeon as a hostage to blackmail billionaire Lee to have some money to cover her life. Now everything is not as expected….

Maybe she needs to let Siyeon go and go back to her old life. She'll find a simple job and get by, with a little money. Anyway, now the financial burden on her has lessened, because the huge debt her father left with the gangsters in the slums has been resolved.

Siyeon saw that the other person did not answer the question and kept her face blank. Siyeon continued  shyly, her tone deeper.

- Hmm….if you need money like that….then I can help, I have my own bank account, I will lend you some money.

- Um, thank you - Bora replied carelessly and climbed into bed, pulled the blanket up and wanted to go to sleep. She didn't want to believe what Siyeon was saying.

They both stayed in the hotel room and wandered around, eating at the hotel. The next night, Bora lay down with her back to Siyeon. Siyeon said that tomorrow she would go to the bank with Bora and withdraw 200 million won to lend Bora. Bora found this girl very kind. From the fact that Siyeon helped her at the Maison intersection and proactively talked about lending money, she had a completely different view of this girl.

There's another thing Bora feels is kind, because of the kiss on the beach behind Siyeon’s house, even though she still doesn't know Siyeon's motive for doing that.

She really has feelings for Siyeon.

Siyeon looked at Bora's back and felt sad. She has always slept alone in her beautiful and splendid room, with good sleep, but now she has someone's back making it difficult to sleep.

She unconsciously touched that back lightly.

Bora shivered at Siyeon's touch, her movements showing Siyeon that she wasn't sleeping yet.

She felt Siyeon approaching her. It was dark here, there wasn't a single light on, the light from the moon was too weak to illuminate anything. Siyeon came so close to her that she heard Siyeon’s breathing.

Siyeon’s breathing was very intermittent, it seemed like she was feeling nervous.

- Bora…..

- ………….. – Bora closed her eyes tightly, wanting to escape this situation quickly.

Siyeon pursed her lips, her hand was still gently touching Bora's thin back, her light breathing now turned into something very clear. She saw the other person move but didn't seem to want to react any further. She remained motionless for about ten seconds, then decided to return to her old position.

Her hand had only left the contact with Bora for 1 second before it was pulled back.

Bora quickly turned around, grabbed Siyeon's hand and pulled Siyeon towards her, pressing her lips to Siyeon’s. Siyeon opened her eyes wide in shock, then tried to respond to this intense kiss.
