Chapter 2

Add had said that he was going to get all the supplies such as balloons, streamers, party hats, etc.

Eve had stayed at the elgang's house and was attempting to make cake. It would be more fitting for Ciel to bake the cake but he had said he would rather make the cookies.

Eve wasn't sure if she should be making the cake... But at least she still had 5 days left. At first, Add wouldn't do anything but she guessed that it was too soon. And then a thought hit her.

She didn't have a present for Lu! Yes, the cake would be a well present but what if it turned out horrible and she had to buy a cake? A lot of  thoughts crossed her mind about which scenario would happen. "Eve?" someone called from the kitchen. Eve turned around, her face blank.

"Yes?" she called out quietly since she was a bit nervous about the cake. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Add whispers as he pops out from behind the corner. "Yeah... We might not have time to get a present for Lu." Eve says and Adds face just shows panic. "Da.mmit..." he says and sighs.

"Uh... I will finish the cake and put it in the garage freezer and then we can go out looking for a present." Eve says quickly. Luckily, Lu wasn't home today.

"Okay... Well, I think I got some pretty good decorations..." Add says slowly. "What're you guys going?!" Rena's voice yelled in the kitchen, scaring Eve and Add. "No PDA in the freaking kitchen!" Rena says and stomps her foot. "Wah..." Add says and walks away with a shrug.

"It was nothing like that..." Eve says and turns back to the recipe book. There were a lot of selections for cakes but all of them were very complex in design and the making...

"Aw are you making a cake Eve? And who might this be for? Is it for Add?! Aw! So sweet!" Rena says, whispering the last part and giggles. "Well, actually, Lu's birthday is coming up so I was going to try to make a birthday cake instead of buying one..." Eve explains and points to the recipe book. "Well, go ask Add for help, I need to find a present for Lu and go on a date- Hey, look at the time... i'm starving, going to go out to eat!" Rena says and shrugs as she quickly leaves.

Eve kind of stood there, wondering if she should ask for Add's help... But a queen doesn't need help in this situation... She would have to try herself!

"What the heck are you about to do." Add's voice sounded in the kitchen again. Eve had her hands balled up into fists, hovering over the mixing bowl. "N-nothing." Eve says and relaxes her hands.

"Do you need help?" Add asks and Eve just stared at him. She had no excuses to make after stuttering. "Yeah, I guess." Eve says and turns her back towards him.

Add was by her side though with a cute apron over him. Eve stifled a snort and watched as Add got to work.

"Can you give me the sugar? Give me half a cup-" he says and holds a hand up. "Make IT one cup." He says and Eve followed his instructions. Eve attempted to crack some eggs but wasn't sure how to. "Ahh! What are you doing?" Add asks as the yolk in the egg spilled on the table. "I don't know." Eve says and just stares at it. How to crack eggs... she thought.

"Here," Add says and takes one egg and cracks it on the counter and quickly opens the eggs with his fingers, letting the insides slip out into the mixture. (Yum ;))

"Oh okay. Sorry." Eve says and Add shakes his head, "It's okay." Add say and starts mixing the mixture.

Add told Eve some more instructions and Eve followed them. The cake batter was now inside the oven and baking. Lu was to be back home from whatever she was doing in a couple of hours.

"Let's go..." Eve says. "What?" Add asks, confused. "Let's go find a present for Lu. We also need to buy some icing and sprinkles." Eve says and puts the recipe book up.

Add was next to her as she did so and she felt something wet against her cheek. She turned a little to see Add had licked her face. "W-what do you think you're doing?!" Eve asks and was about to slap Add but he grabbed her wrist and licked his lips. "Oh sorry," he says and laughs a bit, "There was cake mix on your cheek." He says with a smirk. "W-well, you could've just told me. I can just wipe it off myself." Eve says, wiping her cheek with a napkin.

Add just stuck his tongue out at Eve.

"A-anyways, let's go." Eve stammers and heads outside the house while putting her apron up.

(Hnnnng... *sneeze and dabs* welcome to 2016 where everyone assumes your gender and calls you a 'boi'! I'm sry but that's literally what era we are at and the presidential elections....
