I gained consciousness and felt something soaked wet resting on my forehead as i tried to open my mouth to say a word though it hurts a bit due to my dry lips attached together.

"Don't say a word,Just rest and stay at home. Your temperature is going down now luckily. Here, eat it and I need to make sure you take your pills "a voice interrupted my thoughts as the person helped me to sit after removing the damp cloth on my forehead and gave me a glass of water with a small pill for me to eat.

I swallowed the pill and chugged the water down on my throat before giving him who's offering a hand for me to give the glass back at him.

Who do you expect? But I guess you all guessed it wrong including me because it's unfortunately the angel.

"Where's beomgyu? And why are you here instead?" the first question that popped out in my mind was that as he bit his lip slightly before answering.

"He's at school and I forced him to leave and just let me take care of you because he needs to have a good school life going and besides, you all are going to face the biggest exam before graduating though and you two have to perform well "

Silence indulged after as I played with my fingers only until he decided to break the thick ice that was forming between us.

"so what are your plannings for him? Any predictions on how long you two would last?" he asked as I forced my brain to work but instead, only a hum came out.

"I'll just let him be with Nana and other girls "I answered simply and I guessed that really triggered him because he immediately stood up and gave me this unbelievable look.

"You're letting him with other girls? And not to mention but also with Nana? Wah you're so naive and too kind. Yah Im Rayeon, you should focus on making him yours. You know how he felt towards you and I know you have some feelings for him. Don't let the puppy go because if you do, it'll find a better owner. Oh wait, I just quoted it wrong but anyways, don't waste your chance instead of trying to set them up again like you used to. He's your soulmate you know "He scolded me like a grandma as I lifted both my hands signaling him to chill and sit back down.

"He's my soulmate was the reason why I'm doing this. He's still my friend and the string didn't make any difference between the both of us. Besides, I want him to enjoy life first and I want to make our soulmate string a surprise. I can't really predict how long we'll live because it depends on him who's using the camera"

"but I think that you two would live longer than I expected and probably for years because he's busy with school and work and plus, you two are growing up and would study more further so the time he'll spend on photography would be less. At least that's what I thought "he shrugged.

"Hmm I am seriously starting to thought that there is another reason why you're here instead of Beomgyu and I might need the answer now "I eyed him and I could see him chuckling to cover up his nervous face.

"There's nothing alright. Just stay at home, stay in this room with me and everything will. go smooth as a silk "he tried to convince me with his excuse but I ain't buying it so I gave him the look again.

"just stay with me. I can't tell and change but I can help to prevent it so please do as I say. You'll know it once you see it for yourself "

I stopped scrolling down my YouTube when I heard the front door clicked open even from the bedroom where I am as I glanced at Kai asking if I can come out because that's probably Beomgyu and I want to welcome him back home while I'm the mood for doing good things.

But he's fast asleep and looked tired judging from the position he is sleeping because he's getting too comfortable sleeping on beomgyu's shared bed with me while me, the sick person is sitting on the floor with my back leaning on the wall. What a great gentleman I say.

I shook his body but he refused to wake up so I gave up, not like him who always scream at me like a dolphin alarm if I didn't wake up.

"Ditching him won't hurt so why not. Besides, he said to go get him and what "I shrugged my shoulders and didn't wasted my time to march my way out of the room like the seven dwarfs marching out of their cottage but I immediately ran inside the room back and closed the door softly when I heard two voices now.

"Oh wow.....you really like uhmm... Taking pictures "A voice said as I placed my ear at the door to eavesdrop their conversation.

"Psh...this girl again?" the voice scoffed, now near the door probably looking at the polaroids that Beomgyu hanged on the wall located just beside the bedroom.

"well, every moments need to be captured and she's always with me so that's why she's my model these days. I can take a picture of you if you want and hang it too Nana-sshi? "Beomgyu offered as I huffed and rolled my eyes when I just discovered that he really did brought Nana at here. But why here out of all places, like are you trying to make me feel  'jealous ' because I won't.

I walked out of the room with full of confidence after the coast is clear and marched my way to the kitchen to drink water which I don't want to actually but I need to keep an eye on those two.

"Oh lion-sshi "a voice beamed as I turned my heel around dramatically and as usual, Beomgyu gave me his usual warm bear hug. I grinned in secret because I can see Nana starting to look around acting like she's busy with other things because she's feeling the third wheel treatment.

"I brought you some donuts on my way back here for you to eat so go ahead. I'll be here with Nana because she'll be teaching me some subjects since her studies is a bit advanced "he ruffled my hair as I nodded and skipped my way to the small dining table where the plastic with the donuts he meant were.

Well Nana is a senior to me, though we're in the same year. If you're wondering why but I heard that she came back from the states but she has to repeat the same year to face the SAT too so that's why her studies are a bit advanced.

I was about to start feeling jealous of her but then I suddenly remembered that though her studies is a bit advanced but mine was more advanced because I already graduated and is in university in my past life.

I munched on my donut with my head looking down but eyes eyeing both of them in secret. Who knows what they are doing and I'm one curious cat even when I'm sick.

I don't know how many hours or minutes passed but I am still there eating really slowly just to spy and eavesdrop their conversation but then I'm out of my donuts. I started to think up something that can make me stay longer with them as an excuse and it immediately came.

I decided to be a nice person and be at least productive despite of my condition so I made both of them hot chocolate since its pouring rain outside and they need something to drink.

No any evil intentions in making a drink for Nana though she doesn't like me but hey, if someone is being mean to you, slap them with kindness because that's the best thing to do instead of returning the same thing to them.

"So the answer for this question is 80 and do you want the explanation on how to solve? because I can spare more time with you "Nana said as I served the drinks but my eyes was fast to caught something interesting happening as I grabbed Beomgyu's hot chocolate with one hand and the other hand pulling his arm so he'll face me who's now sitting on the floor beside him.

"Want me to blow it for you? " I asked with a smile, distracting him as my other hand that was holding his hand loosened and now pushing Nana's sneaky hand that was snaking on his lap just now.

He nodded as I blew it a bit about a minute before nearing the mug so it can touch his lips. I lifted it slowly so he'll drink it and his hand grabbed mine indicating that he can hold the mug instead of me.

I released my hand when he grab a hold of it and stood up immediately, brushing the non-existant dust off my shoulders while giving Nana a deathly glare. I don't mind him being with her but that is too much and he looked uncomfortable just now.

I walked straight to beomgyu's room to check out on Kai but he's still there sleeping like a log and still on that odd position. I found my air refreshener that has a paper wrapped fully with a writing that said 'Love repellent ; use it when you feel single and there's a couple with you' and a small writing below it that I wrote ' also refreshes air too :))'.

I didn't have the chance to use it so I guess it's the time because I looked damn single in the house with my soulmate sitting beside his dream girl. I marched out with the 'Love Repellent ' and aimed it at both of them from afar before spraying it on the air.

I swung my hand around pretending that I'm just spraying an ordinary air refreshener when it's my imaginary repellent so love would keep away from me.

"Aigoo... So much love in the air and I need to use this so I won't be infected. This air refreshener sure is the best invention that someone ever invented "I nagged and kept on spraying as I could see Nana raging now so I stopped because my mission to irritate her as revenge for trying to attempt something at Beomgyu succeeded.

"Would you please stay away from us? We're about to finish and if you're here to disturb then please get in my room and just sleep "

And at that moment, was the rudest thing I ever heard from Beomgyu but I decided to not show how startled I am and went in his room.

I placed the air refreshener hard on the small table and threw my head at Kai who's still sleeping.

"Can't you just wake up and give me some space to sleep you dibbity bib bop angel?! "I pulled my hair and groaned at him but I am too tired to push his body off the bed so I just lay down on the floor and try to sleep.

I coughed a bit as I fixed my face mask and grabbed my phone before twisting the door knob to exit the room and into the front door. My back hurts because I was sleeping on the floor and to top all of that, the angel scolded me for not staying in the room and warned me not to do anything stupid. Just what is he trying to tell me though and what is he trying to prevent?

I checked the time and felt a bit relieved that I'm not late for work and have plenty of time.

There's no sign of any beomgyu at here and besides, I really hope I didn't ran into him because he's getting in my nerves since just now.

I locked the door once I am outside as I climbed down the stairs. I paused midway when Nana was at the 2nd floor leaning on the wall before she averted her gaze at me.

She approached me as I stepped back because she's starting to give me this weird gaze.

"So you're that girl that he's madly in love with " she started and took a strand of my hair, playing with it.

"But I can't see anything special on you. Just look at you " I scoffed at her words but I need to hold myself back because I'm trying to change so I won't hurt people with my words so I'll just let her anger out at me.

"you can't but he can. It's his choice who to choose and why are you approaching me like a creep out of nowhere, aren't you supposed to be on stage seducing other men at there and hook up with them like you usually do?"

"I can't say you are wrong because that's who I am but Beomgyu somehow caught my attention and I'm changing for him just so I can get him "She laughed a bit as I stared at her with a weird look.

Okay like I didn't ask if you changed or not Missy? Oh wait let me check in my pocket and mask or what. Hmm but it seems like I can't seem to find your opinion. And besides, I don't need any TMI today.

"but what makes me mad about you is that you're always with him...and he's been acting weird around me. That day... We could've kissed but you... You showed up out of nowhere and there he left me and ran for you. I tried everything to steal his heart and at that night, he rejected me and got me devastated but somehow he didn't bring up that topic as like it never happened. Weird "she rolled her eyes and continued talking as I raised an eyebrow, trying to cover up my smile because turns out, they didn't kiss last time at the hallway.

"So why are you telling me this? I didn't remember asking "I asked and crossed both my arms but at that moment, she started to take steps forward making me step backwards and realized we're at the edge of the stairs.

"Oh no honey, you didn't ask. I'm just telling this so you'll know it before you left this world. You took him away from me and you need to pay the cost" she smirked and pushed me but I managed to balance as I pushed her so I can take a step forward making her fall to the floor and scraped a knee.

But before I can run away, she pushed me hard down the stairs but I was fast to get a hold of her but that was a bad idea.

We rolled down for who knows how many flight of stairs before we landed on the first floor. My breathing was shallow as I chanted to myself to stay awake but I couldn't.

My eyes opened slowly as I tried to adjust my blurry vision due to the bright light directed above me that's blinding my eyes.

I sat up carefully and the first thing I saw is Beomgyu standing beside the bed.

But that look wasn't what I was expecting for me to see as he yanked my wrist and make me get out of bed and stand up infront of him.

"explain "he said short but I can already hear the cold tone in it.

"You don't need one because she pushed me down flights of stairs and I might die on the spot if it wasn't for her who I pulled with "

"Pull her with you? Why did you do such a stupid thing and make her suffer too? How foolish of you "He scoffed and looked away before looking at me with his sharp eyes.

"So you're protecting her and care about her huh? So what if I didn't pull her with me, would you rather hear the doctor announcing my death and not breathing for the last time again?! " I shouted, tears started to form in my eyes as my breath started to get sharp and shallow as I did so.

"SO YOU'RE PUTTING YOURSELF FIRST IN THIS SITUATION AND NOT OTHER PEOPLE? SHE ALMOST DIED AND ITS ALL YOUR FAULT FOR PULLING HER WITH YOU " He raised his tone and I can't lie but that pretty much triggered me.

"All my fault eh? What did I do? I pushed her of course because she's killing me slowly with her words and you here assumed that it's all my fault when she started it? "I argued back.

"But you know what, I just push her on the floor and she only scraped a knee but what did she do to me? She pushed me off the stairs! I just can't believe that snake did that to me"

"WATCH YOUR WORDS IM RAYEON" he yelled as veins could be seen popped up on his neck.

"Why did I even asked for a second chance to live in the first place when I just discovered that the person who I risked my whole life despise me now for trying to survive. I have pride and I'm a human. I'm a girl and I know you know that I'm not that easily be hurt with words but what you said just now make me feel like I actually DON'T deserve to live. Don't you know how desperate I was to make you live once again but what did I get in return? Words saying that I'm stupid for pulling someone with me when I was at the edge of dying just to increase the chance of living" I roared back as tears kept on flowing down and I could feel my face getting more heated up.

"you know what, I finally realized that I'm actually living with a monster and she finally crossed the line too much " I caught him muttered under his breath as I placed my hand on my chest that was starting to hurt in a way.

"I HATE YOU "I shouted but then I lost my breath and have difficulty in breathing, my hand was holding my chest that was in pain as my limp body fell on the bed.

"hey what's going on? Rayeon?RAYEON-AH?! WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER CHOI BEOMGYU?! NURSE-"

Screaming for help is useless now as darkness started to blind my eyes as my body went weak after many attempts to stay up the water.
