"But what makes you say that it's me? "I asked slowly as he turned the Polaroid that was facing him so I can see the picture.

There,the picture displays a picture of my hand holding his hand which I am also sure that hand  holding his hand is me but that doesn't mean I'm the one.

"They couldn't find my soulmates file because my soulmate is you all along! And the future shows us that we're dating " he concluded eyes shining as he smiled ear to ear. He took grip on my arm and pulled me in a hug.

"but that didn't prove that I'm your soulmate "I spoke softly and was still in a surprised state.

.

"Look.. Angel, he believes that I'm his soulmate when I'm actually his matchmaker. That doesn't make any sense, and it's all because of that photograph "I sighed heavily , beginning to worry if Beomgyu's theory is wrong and that might hurt his feelings and pride.

"He might be right and there's a possibility that the reason why we couldn't find his soulmate file is because his soulmate is dead all along and reborn as his own matchmaker..."he agreed but then shook his head in disagreement after that because a debate started in his thoughts maybe.

"But then there's not enough proof to prove that you both are soulmates just because of a photograph. And what's weird is that camera, how can it capture the future too and I'm going to start investigate about that from the headquarters later. This never happened before but just keep him close with Nana and make that couple happen between the two of them to prove that his soulmate is her or maybe make him date other girls then you'll check the string of their soulmate? Aish I really don't know now and it's kinda frustrating to even plot a plan now "The angel groaned as he walked in circles inside beomgyu's shared room with me.

"Let's just help him practice shall we? Besides, tonight is the night for him to ask her out and I already booked a table for them. I'm not that rich to book the whole restaurant so instead let's just decorate their table with candle lights and maybe put balloons in the restaurant so the situation would be romantic "I suggested and he nodded as he lend a hand for me to grab and stand up from the floor with the help of his support as we walk our way to the living room.

Sure enough Beomgyu looked rather surprise knowing the angel's presence beside me when he didn't even entered the apartment from the front door and it's literally early in the morning and we're about to go to school.

"wait how did you get here-"

"OoOoo look at the time you two are probably late for school so go now and have fun! Remember to meet me at the school gate after school. Don't worry about both of your part time jobs, I already have someone to cover you up for tonight " He pushed both of us to the door but I stopped him.

"Woahh hold up! I'm going to work tonight because I'm not the one who's going to date or what "I halted but then Beomgyu tugged onto my hand and glanced at me.

"oh no you're going with me tonight sweetie. Now let's listen to him and go now. Here are the keys and thank you Kai for covering us for tonight" Beomgyu rushed as he tossed the keys at Kai and he caught it naturally with a nod.

Today was actually not a normal school day but did I mention that it's actually festival day? Oh yes I haven't but anyways that's the reason why Kai said 'Have fun' just now and asked me to help Beomgyu practice because we're literally free but still need to attend school to help out with the festival for awhile.

And here we are about to enter the school gates as I blocked beomgyu's way to halt his steps.

"First, this is nothing more than pure practice, Second, I'll stay away from you if there's Nana or any other girls because it would be so awkward and third, don't. Friggin. Kiss. My. Forehead. On. Public. Got it? "I emphasized the few 7 words so he can hear it loud and clear but then he made this thinking face and tapped his chin.

"Speaking of kiss, I haven't kissed you yet so here you go" he pulled my head closer and kissed my forehead without even giving me a chance to process anything and let me go soon after.

"I swear that I'll wash my forehead with holy water after boiling the hell out of it and-"

"Relax, why need holy water to wash my kiss when you just got blessed everyday with my rare kiss specially for my dear matchmaker or should I say Soulmate" he teased me as I sighed heavily and looked at him.

"Look beomgyu-sshi... It's not like I don't want to be your soulmate or what but why are you so sure about that? "

"Because I have the feeling that you are the one, now let's just go and enjoy shall we? Oh and practice? Here this is one of the practice because I read from your list is that holding hands makes your partner feel warm and safe around them "he simply said and grabbed my hand so he can lead the way but then realized he's going too fast and i was there standing with all my strength so he can also stop walking too.

"Aish this guy, you should walk with your partner side by side and don't always drag people "I breathed and he 'ooh' at me as we walked side by side together.

"You always smile so it's not a problem in that case so next one is try to take sudden actions to surprise her while walking. Grabbing her hand and intertwining her fingers with yours creates tension between both of you. Here's a tip Kai said to me once when he's with me watching dramas, you know that 'slam-the-girl to the wall' technique? It makes you look like you want her to know that you are showing your feelings at her so much and since you're good with facial expressions, might as well you'll look like those bad boys and nailed that part " I explained and somehow accidentally squealed at the end of my explanation because I accidentally imagined that scene.

But then I looked away and slapped my cheeks to snap me out of my imagination because I ACCIDENTALLY imagined him slamming me on the wall instead. Ladies and gentlemen, this is what you call a big imagination.

"You okay? "Beomgyu questioned and I tossed my gaze at him with a forced smile plastered on my face. It's not like I don't want to smile but I can't smile because my mind is a mess.

"Okay now let's move on to the next one-"

"Gyu! " A voice rang as I instantly panicked and signalled him I'm going away to give them some space. Who else other than Nana that I'm scared off? But as always, it's not only her but with her group of friends too.

I walked away and turned back to glance at them who's circling Beomgyu now as a heavy sigh slipped from my mouth.

"Wish I could be her. She's a definition of perfection. Beautiful face...popular..."

"And has many guys falling for her including your Beomgyu?" a voice interrupted me as I came back to reality.

"that's not what I meant-wait I meant it but not that thing you said just now. It's just that she's so lucky, that's all"I denied really fast on what Taehyun just said as he stood beside me, with his arms crossed to his chest as both of us stared at them.

"everyone's not perfect Yeon-ah. Though I agree with all that you said but then I'm not going to forget the fact that she embarrassed you in front of hundreds of people on purpose just to get the person she wanted all to herself "Taehyun said out of the blues as I swung my head at him with eyes widened.

"You know what, though you tried your best not to let us know who did that because you don't want to ruin her image but eventually we all discovered that. How you asked? Simple, we went through all of the models clothes that has pockets and fool of her to forget that scissors and left the scissors in the pocket of the clothes she modelled before. We found out earlier though and decided to not tell you and acted that we don't know for months. Yes, Beomgyu knew and he was really upset though and that's why he left immediately to buy you ice cream while I comforted you. I'm still pretty mad at her for doing such thing when you did nothing wrong "He blurted out the truth as I shook my head slowly.

"But tae... I know you are still mad at her and maybe the others too but please don't. I don't want to be the person who made my best friends mad because of this girl who embarrassed me to death last month. We don't know what she's been through and me as a woman too, I know how she felt if the person I liked is too close with my crush. I would've be mad at myself if I'm her but I wouldn't do that thing though because that's literally like creating a traumatic experience to someone. That's why I preferred to stay away as possible from them. Besides, I was meant to match someone with his or her lover, I'm nothing but a single person who lives to achieve one goal and it's to make someone find his euphoria. It's really her, I have a feeling that it's really her the cause of his happiness "I replied calmly and I am glad that Soobin suddenly came to us so that we can change the topic.

The mood changed and we were now having a fun trip around the school grounds while the festival goes on smoothly.

Taehyun stopped by at a booth with students selling some stuffs as me and Soobin stopped too and observed with him.

I saw cans of febreze air refresher sitting at the corner with some things too as I grabbed one and asked if I can smell the scent for awhile to see if it smells good. I was very satisfied with this one smell and it's a combination of blossom and breeze so I bought it with my own money.

Taehyun bought this new notebook because he is in need of one at the moment while Soobin was just there observing the handmade bracelets one by one and he bought four of the same design but with different colours and gave each to me and taehyun and wore one for himself while the other one left is for Kai he said.

It's sweet of him to buy us the bracelets so I gave him a friendly hug and thanked him with Taehyun too following my actions.

"So mind telling us why did you suddenly buy an air refreshener?" Soobin asked chuckling and I grinned and held the air refreshener in my hand like a gun.

"I bought it and was going to label it 'Love repellent ' and spray it at the apartment in the future if Beomgyu and Nana came by because love is going to float in the air and I don't want to get infected with it, also at the same time too, the air would smell good "I wiggled my eyebrows and they laughed at my silly idea and we just continue walking around having fun.

We were holding so many food containers and empty soda cans because we kept on eating and we played a game of Rock paper scissors to decide the loser to throw all of our trash.

Guess what, it's me because I suck at playing rock paper scissors and here I am walking down the hallways after entering the building trying to find a single trash can because the trash cans outside are full and I don't want to throw it there just like that.

I finally found one and once I am finished, I was about to go take the short cut to get out but then my feet froze on the floor once I turned around.

The sound of my heartbeat pounding really hard on my chest could be heard from my ears and my breathing started to get abnormal. I blinked continuously wondering if I'm just imagining or not but then I did the most logical thing that could save me from the situation and it's to escape fast.

I was panting and out of breath when I found both of Soobin and Taehyun outside waiting for me to appear.

"Why are you running and-ooh wait what happened to your face?" Soobin sound alarmed as I forced a smile sheepishly but decided to look elsewhere and blink back tears so they won't roll down from my cheeks.

"Nothing. It's nothing. I'm going home now because I suddenly feel my stomach hurting and twisting inside from all of the food. Thank you so much for spending your time with me but I got to go "I excused myself and ran away after finishing my sentence leaving them calling my name. The scene last time at Namsan tower replayed in my mind as like a short movie as I fastened my pace more.

"Beomgyu....why are you being so nice to me? Why did you make me so confused? "I asked him.

"I also question myself that...why do I feel like being nice to you and make you happy is my responsibility? And everytime I did, it just made me smile "

I was running to the point that it hurts my legs as I entered the apartment and slumped on the front door after closing it behind me.

"Why am I like this anyways? I know he confused me so much and with all of his actions. But he likes her and even told it at me infront of my face so why am I feeling like this when I saw them kissing just now aish. You should be happy Im Rayeon-sshi. Why are you running away "I laughed a bit  but I could feel hot tears streaming down my cheeks as I said so. I curled up into a ball and let my tears down as I felt a presence infront of me.

"Rayeon-ah... "the voice called out softly that it made my heart ache a bit as I stand up and hugged the person.

"I'm sorry Angel but I can't help it and feel like this. Help me Kai... I'm so confused with myself" I sobbed and he patted my back trying to soothe me from my crying.

"You like him. I know I say not to but I just can't stand and watch you who's confused. You're stepping on the first step and it's liking him before going to the next step and it's love....you just got caught in your own trap Im Rayeon "he said in a gentle voice as I looked up at him and he sighed with a small smile.

"ah wait bam... "I stopped him and fixed his fluffy black hair after getting it a bit curled at home which I used a hair straightener and hair spray so he can look good for tonight that we all waited for.

He's mysteriously silent all along even at the public bus we took to get to the restaurant where the special moment would happen.

Since that thing just now, I started to feel nervous around him and I even burnt my finger a bit while curling his hair with that hair straightener because we were just so awkward between each other. He also even avoid gazes from me and would be the first one to look away quickly if our eyes met.

We entered the fancy restaurant that looked like it was almost fully packed with rich guests as I told the waiter the two tables I booked that was under my name.

We were directly walked to the table where two candles were lit, red flowers in a glass vase that I set up and two glasses placed nicely on the table. The table was located near a large glass window that showcased a breath taking view of the whole city at night full of lights lit up from houses, apartments, shops and more.

I helped Kai decorate the whole restaurant with red and white balloons and even set up the whole table after leaving the apartment that morning so the place would look romantic despite of other people also dining in too. I pushed beomgyu lightly on the seat that was facing an empty seat for Nana later so he can sit and be prepared for the dinner and excused myself so I can sit at the other table I booked too with only one chair not that far from them since Beomgyu requested me to come with him and watch over him last time.

Too bad the angel couldn't make it because he's covering up my part time job while Soobin who he asked to cover up Beomgyu's part time job because Taehyun is already working at the same place that Kai is going to replace for the meantime as a waiter.

But he did say that he's watching us all the time from his system or I don't know what he called that though he's working and will observe us from afar.

Before I could walk away, Beomgyu who has the habit of holding my hand before letting me go, held my hand and made me turn around.

He pulled me closer, wrapped his arms around my waist slowly and placed his head on my stomach, hugging me.

"Thank you... "he thanked and I nodded with a smile hum.

"I told you already,No need to. It's my job and this is your first step, if it's not Nana then there's always another next time? I'll check on her soulmate string when you date so make sure you make that date happen okay? Now I got to go, good luck bamboo. You're not a baby anymore so stop hugging me like this"I chuckled, hiding my fast beating heart that is aching a bit as I let myself out of his embrace and fastened my pace to my table to avoid Nana seeing us hugging like that, causing a misunderstanding situation.

I sat down and took a glance at Beomgyu giving him two pistol fingers using my fingers and my smile to cheer him up.

Nana came soon after and the dinner went well with them. That sadness went away alright because I'm here eating the food all to myself while watching them and finished my food earlier than them so I can focus on them and not get distracted by food entirely.

-N A R R A T O R-

"So Nana what would you do if you have a boyfriend who likes photograph? Would you support him? "Beomgyu asked after the laughing session he had with Nana and he could see that she was thinking hard about it.

"Maybe? I would like it if he would focus only on me and it would be great if he can take good photos of me on my photoshoot and what. But if he's really obsessed with that thing then, he doesn't deserve me because I need attention from him. I don't really understand photograph that much though and maybe we won't even click "She answers and placed her fork down on the plate after finishing her dessert.

Beomgyu smiled and nodded as he stood up from his seat before getting on his knees in front of her as Rayeon bit her lip as he did so.

He's close to ask her out. Asking her to be his girl.

Rayeon looked away with a heavy sigh and drank the last sip from her drink before turning her gaze back at them and found Nana rubbing her eyes crying.

She must've waited for this moment to happen and she's crying of happiness.

Rayeon clapped and suddenly all of the guests in the restaurant clapped too along, looking at Beomgyu and Nana and some also shouted a congratulations.

But then Nana stood up and left still crying and Rayeon stopped clapping and an 'oops' escaped from her lips.

"Didn't see that coming. I thought he was asking her out-OUH WHAT THE FUDGE" A strong hand pulled Rayeon and yanked her outside as she squirmed out of the strong grip and sucessfully did.

"Screw that. I actually have feelings for you Im Rayeon...not her and I didn't have the courage to voice it out last time when we practiced. My feelings started to change when you came and it's driving me crazy. I'm really sure you are my soulmate because my heart says so and I will follow it no matter what..."he confessed and instead of looking down on his shoes, he stared directly in her eyes with sincerity in his voice.

"I'm....I'm sorry Beomgyu. It's not like I hate you or what but maybe you're confused. Maybe you don't like me but actually you're grateful for my existence with you and feel warm with me. That kiss on my forehead everyday was nothing more but a thank you kiss to thank me for existing. You're just being grateful with something that just walked into your life and it's not feelings. We're not soulmates because it doesn't make any sense for a matchmaker to be the client's soulmate herself " she sighed and shook her head but then he grabbed both her soft hands and held it tight, caressing it slowly.

"I'm really sure you're the one Rayeon-sshi. The photograph shows our future-"

"That photograph doesn't mean anything beomgyu. It's just a trick of the future and no, we're just too different to be with together. I can't accept your confession because I know there's someone else out there dying to hear those words from you, someone better than me. I'm only temporary at here "the girl cut his words off, accidentally raising her voice because of her feeling a bit taken aback as she could sense that his eyes were brimming with tears.

"But I believe in you, the photograph proves that you are the one and yet you're denying it. Can't you see that I'm trying to show my affection towards you? I have feelings for you and I'm sure that's not a thought. It feels so wrong to have feelings for your own matchmaker and it seems like you don't feel the same too...goodbye I guess " he sniffled, holding back his tears as he tried to let go of her hand but she held it fast because realization hit her that she just hurt his feelings with her words for the first time.

He loosened his grip as his hand slipped away from hers. A loud screeching sound could be heard as she felt something tingling inside her and when she saw the source of the sound, her eyes was wide as saucers as the shocked girl leaned forward to grab his hand.

At that moment, Rayeon remembered that photograph and realized the future that it predicted was this actually because it's her who's holding his hand but then it slipped.

"no no.. NO...NOOO BEOMGYU STOP!"

Two simple yet tragic words to describe right now and it's...too late.
