Hokage POV

Looking at Naruto grim face as he slept I couldn't help but feel a little guilty

I hadn't noticed the glares and whispers we had received every time I took Naruto out.

Flashy

Picking up the kid from the ground in my office where he sat at 2 yrs old I noticed that he looked exactly like his father

With his shoulder length blonde hair and blue eyes.

He was giggling and asking where we were going in his baby voice.

Somewhere I had told him and carried him past the secretary.

Thinking back I remember feeling the glare on my back and Naruto stopped giggling.

Putting my head in my hands I asked myself if I really was that naive.

I realise now that listening to danzo when he told me to tell the villagers was the dumbest  thing id ever done, and hopefully  do.

Leaning my head on his bed with my hand in his I slowly drifted to sleep having nightmares of paperwork.

Naruto POV

After the anbu laid me on the bed I blacked out

I had then gone into my mindscape to see Rama kun stretched out at her full size sleeping.

Rama kun is sleeping... I'm tired too I go to sleep wif her den.

I silently  creeped over to her and laid with my back against one of her tails.

I was almost asleep when I felt her tail curl around me protectively keeping me warm.

The next morning I woke up at 4 am and saw jiji sleeping with his head on my bed and his hand on mine.

My body wasn't hurting as much as I thought it was and I silently thanked Rama for it.

I looked down at myself  and saw two casts wrapped around my arms from shoulder to wrist.

Moving my arms a bit I figured I didn't need them and tried to slip them off... Key word tried

With stiff arms I was unable to reach the other. There was only one option but it was loud.

Shrugging I bent my arms as hard as I could feeling it bend I smirked and put more force into it

SNAP!!!

the hokage bolted upright and I started laughing my ass  off in my head but held an emotionless face on the outside.

He looked at me wide eyed before hugging me as hard as he could

I smiled a small smile before standing grabbing my clothes off the end of my bed and going to the bathroom.

Once I was dressed I walked out the hospital  with a goodbye  from jiji  and a wave from me we parted ways.

I walked to the orphanage and heard a faint call of my name I cocked my head listening.

After a moment I walked inside and snuck into my room without anyone seeing me.

NARUTO!!! Flinching I covered my ears and looked around nothing.

Walking in my room I silently shut the door.

Just 4 days till I go to the academy... I hope those kids don't  recognise me..

Don't worry Naruto you will be fine, hey, hey do you wanna go train?

Looking around I tried to see who was talking but no one was there.

Naru  Chan don't you remember me the voice whined.

Then it clicked

Ohh its Rama I didn't know we could talk like this

We can and grab some training clothes come on lets go.

Doing as she said I picked out a long sleeve black shirt and some poofy black pants that when to my ankles.

We then headed off to a training  ground 66 as Rama kun said and when we got there I climbed over the fence like she said and started walking.

We went in so deep that I could not remember the turns without getting confused.

Sitting down I listened for Rama kun next instructions

Naruto I want you to meditate and come here.

Meditate?

Sit down and don't think of anything.

Confused I did as she said but my mind kept drifting after a few minutes the world faded and I could see Rama kun again.

She seemed to be back at her small size and she was holding something.

Walking closer she laid the items Down on the ground

I could now see it was a large amount of thick scrolls

Standing there confused she sighed irritably.

What are you standing around for... Get cracking.

Walking over I looked over some

Chakra ?, surviving in the wild?, fighting ?, hunting?, sword techniques ?.

Interested in the thing called chakra I started reading about that.

This chakra stuff is a lot like that weird energy I have...

I sat in my own mind for hours reading the scrolls before going to sleep in my mindscape.

Of course he goes to sleep without a care in the world... Oh well you sleep Naru and I will watch over your body
