"no fucking way," sohee looked up from her phone in shock, looking around the room and surveying the people around her.

"what?" hayeon asked, immediately curious.

"you can't just start with that and then stop talking," jiwon complained, eager to know what was going on as well.

"jay just texted me," sohee explained in a hushed voice, not wanting the rest of the people in the library to hear their conversation. "he said that enhypen is performing at the university festival this year!"

slamming her head down on the table, hayeon let out a groan that was way too loud compared to the volume of the rest of the library. "why does the universe hate me?"

"when is it?" jiwon questioned, "who else is performing?"

"not fromis," sohee laughed, knowing the real answer jiwon wanted from her question. "but it's next week, and i think nmixx, aespa, and seventeen will be there? i'm not sure if any other people are coming, our university will probably announce it soon."

"and sunghoon," hayeon added in, dreading not only having to see him but also having to see the rest of the students at her university drool over him in front of her.

"yes, and sunghoon," sohee nodded, "are you going to be okay?"

"i mean it's been almost two weeks since he dropped me off, and the no contact has been killing me. but still, i just don't feel ready to see him."

"you might never fully feel ready," jiwon said, "but that doesn't mean you should avoid him for as long as possible. we all know that you two care about each other too much for that to happen."

"my head hurts," hayeon sighed, overwhelmed by all of the different thoughts in her head.

"you can't avoid him forever."

"well i can try."
