as the group arrived to sohee's family's house they began to run through the building, each picking out what room they wanted to stay in. however, since sohee was an only child the number of rooms in the house was limited.

therefore, everyone decided to sleep two to a room in order to fit into the five rooms in sohee's house. jay and jungwon, heeseung and niki, and sohee and jiwon had paired up, leaving hayeon sunghoon jake and sunoo.

knowing sharing a room with sunghoon after he had just friend zoned her and she had gotten a boyfriend would be her own personal hell, hayeon made the quick decision to share a room with jake and dragged him along with her.

everyone threw their things on their beds, not bothering to fully unpack as they still had half of the day left and much they wanted to do with their free time. they had decided that they wanted to go to the beach first and then go out to dinner together at a restaurant one of sohee's family friends ran.

"how fancy is this restaurant damn?" jake asked as he saw the outfit that hayeon was pulling out of her suitcase. they had both quickly showered after running around the beach and were getting ready to go to dinner.

"sohee's family is rich as fuck so all their family friends are the same," hayeon explained, laughing when she looked up to see the shocked look on the boy's face. apparently no one had told him to bring nice clothing.

"let me go steal one of jay's shirts then," jake said in reply, darting out of their room to go harass the older boy.

letting out a few small giggles at the thought of the argument she knew was about to occur between jay and jake, hayeon began to change into the dress she had pulled out. about halfway into zipping up her dress, however, the zipper got stuck in the dress' fabric.

hayeon let out a sigh of frustration, ready to give up, but then heard the click of the door opening. she assumed jake had come back, although she was surprised that jay had given in that quickly.

"oh good you're back," she said anyways, "can you help me zip this up?"

"sure," a voice said in response after they cleared their throat. a voice that was definitely not jake's.

panicking slightly inside when she recognized the voice to belong to sunghoon, hayeon attempted to stay as still as humanly possible as he made his way towards her. sunghoon's hand lightly brushed against her back as he went to grab her dress' zipper, not helping the chaos that was happening in hayeon's head at all.

she felt his breath on the back of her neck as he worked on getting the zipper out from the dress' fabric, giving her vivid flashbacks to that night in her apartment. the only night in hayeon's apartment that she played on a loop in her head 24/7.

she still wore the necklace he gave her that night, even though she knew was stupid for doing so. how pathetic do you have to be to wear something that a guy you pined over for months gave you even after he friend zoned you?

"done," sunghoon said when he finally freed her zipper. he then finished zipping hayeon's dress up the rest of the way, which forced her to have to turn around and face him once he was done.

with flushed cheeks that she desperately tried to hide, hayeon muttered out a quick thank you before running off out of the room and leaving behind a very confused sunghoon. but hayeon wasn't thinking about how crazy she might have looked running off like she did, she had to go rant to sohee and jiwon about all the thoughts in her head immediately.
