it had been 6 days since sunghoon had left and hayeon felt like she was dying.

she knew sunghoon was important to her, but she didn't expect to be this sad over not being able to see him. she couldn't even see text with him as much as they normally did due to how much he and jake had to do while in japan.

"i need a life," hayeon groaned, her two best friends sitting next to her on their living room couch.

the three of them were going through the tv channels, all collectively bored out of their minds.

"morning work shifts sound like a good idea until you realize you have nothing to do with the rest of your day," jiwon agreed.

"i wonder what jay's doing," sohee thought out loud, causing hayeon and jiwon to sit up.

"the members! i- i mean all of the members," sohee stuttered, attempting to save face.

"sohee has a crushhhhh," hayeon teased the girl despite this being common knowledge to her and jiwon.

"oh bitch don't even start," sohee shot back, knowing hayeon was the last person who could speak about crushes.

"why are you two living your best lives and i'm over here bitchless," jiwon complained, sick of her recent dates all turning out to be disappointments. "ask your boyfriends if they know any single girls."

"he's not my boyfriend!" hayeon and sohee said in unison, both turning to the other after realizing their synchronization.

the girls all burst into laughter together, almost tipping the couch over.

author's note:it's kinda short and uneventful but double update for today bc i felt bad for going ia for a month lmao
