Chapter 14
02:09, 27 June 2016Taehee's POV
I sat in front of Jimin awkwardly, I would keep moving my legs making friction between my legs and skirt, which also caused a very irritating sound.
I was trying to teach him how to do his calculus homework along with Taehyung who bailed on us at the last minute.
Jimin stayed absolutely quiet, he was too busy scratching his head and giving out small groans of confusion. I watched as he ran his hand through his soft blue hair and lick his lips, wetting it completely.
So I tried making conversation. "So did you tell Jinae how the date went?"
I cursed silently to myself as that was the first thing to fall out if my mouth. There was something going on between the two and I had no intention of finding out what it was. Although I was quite curious if their history.
I wasn't stupid I speculated that Jinae was Jimin's ex girlfriend that he had once mentioned to me.
It wasn't hard to figure out.
The two seemed to be like the perfect couple.
My heart squeezed again as my stomach churned, thinking about Jimin holding her hand and leaning on her shoulder to sleep.
"Yeah I did. She was proud of me that I actually went on a proper date. Now that I think about it, she said another odd thing." I nodded, gesturing for him to continue. "She admitted that she thought I was going to ask her to the date." He chuckled.
I stayed quiet, Jinae was a queenka but she seemed like she was the nicest one. She never once even insulted me.
"Taehee I don't get this part." He informed me, pointing to one of the questions on the paper. I took it out of his hands and began explaining the question.
By the time I was done explaining I remembered that I has to go meet Hoseok.
"Hey Oppa I got to go. But I promise that I'll help you when I get home tonight so head back with Jungkook. He's in the music room with Minji." I said, picking up my backpack and slinging it behind my back.
Jimin grabbed my hand and pouted, "Don't go."
I pulled my hand back and gave a small smile, "I'm be back by 8."
He looked down and pouted, "okay I'll be back by 7." He shook his head, "I need someone to Tudor me."
Someone threw a crumbled up piece of paper, I turned over and saw Solbi. "Yah just let her go. I'll tutor you." Jimin scrunched his nose up in annoyance.
I thought the two of them got along. I must've guessed wrong.
I ruffled his Jimin's hair and gave Solbi a soft smile.
"Bye Jimin Oppa, Solbi."__________________________________
"That's all that happened?" Hoseok asked, biting off some more of his churro. I nodded and handed him a tissue to wipe his mouth that was covered with cinnamon sugar.
We decided to skip shopping and just head to lunch. Today we decided to hang out because he thought we should catch up on each other's lives. He was especially enthusiastic to talk about my date with Jimin last week. I told him most of the details but didn't go into too much depth.
Hoseok sighed, "I thought he would've done something more." He muttered under his breath and secretly took one of my churros.
I hit his hand simultaneously, "yah haven't you eaten like 14 churros already?" He pouted and nodded shamelessly.
"Just give me your one!" He whined and tapped my hand nonstop just to annoy me.
I rolled my eyes and gave him my churro, He grinned and began eating it. "Aish so annoying." I muttered darkly and took a sip of my soda before picking up my phone. Hoseok snatched my phone out of my hand. "I'm your best friend and that means no phones until we're done hanging out!" He said, placing the phone into his bag.
Honestly I only wanted to check if Jimin texted me. I was quite worried. He looked really angry this morning when I said I would be hanging out with Hoseok after school so we couldn't walk home together today.
Without much notice of my daze Hoseok continued talking. "Yah if you don't answer me in two seconds I'm going to call Taehyung and tell him that Jiminie kissed you."
I hit his head and glared once again. He chuckled, "you have a glaring problem." He rubbed his head and moved his bag to the side, putting it further away from my reach. I furrowed my eyes as my shoulders fell from surrender.
My phone was obviously ringing but of course I knew that Hoseok wouldn't give me back my phone until he felt like it. How did I know? Instinct.
Some girls passed by and pointed at Hoseok, even though he was wearing sunglasses and a hat he still gave off that alluring aura that all idols emit. They came closer and I pulled his head down to the table so his face was not visible for them to see.
When the girls left I let go of his head and he quickly raised an eyebrow at me. "Fan girls."
I pointed to the group of giggly girls from before who were walking away slowly. I took off my school blazer and laid it across my lap.
"How's your break? I heard from Seokjin-ssi and Namjoon-ssi that they're having a lot of fun, going to play more often and less dance practices." Hoseok grinned, probably thinking about all the fun he had already.
"Wait when did you get Jin hyung and Namjoonie's number?" I shrugged, "they handed it to me when I came to meet you guys with Solbi."
He plucked his lips together, "I forgot this but my noona's getting married in two months. Everyone's required to bring a date and I guess that I'll be the only one without one. So wanna be my date if I can't get a girlfriend by then?"
A sweet, high chuckled escaped my lips, "I'm sure you'll find a date but I'll be your emergency date if that does happen." He drank his drink and put the cup down, "have you heard from Eunha lately?" He muttered, reluctantly.
I shook my head, "I guess she's just with trying to achieve her dreams to be a medical student. While here I am, living with my brother's group mates, getting pushed around like trash you find on the floor and relying on other people to save my sorry butt after I get into any type of trouble that I can involve myself in."
Hoseok didn't reply, meaning that even he thought everything I just said was true or he just felt bad for asking,
My phone continued ringing.
"Could I please answer my phone?" I pleaded, trying to sound really cute since I know aegyo is all boy's weaknesses even though I wasn't what you would call cute.
"No." He took out my phone before laughing. He faced my phone screen at me and I widened my eyes. 37 missed calls and 78 unread messages all from Jimin. "Oh come on you have to let me call him back now."
He ignored my pleads and scrolled through my messages. "If he's this clingy now think how bad it's going to be when you both start dating. This is why Jiminie's the worst at dating, girls get annoyed about his clingy ness so he usually gets dumped by most of his girlfriends, but then again he's only dated seriously once while the other two were more for fun or trials."
I smiled, "that's one of the things I like about him. I think it's just another quality of him."
"You have horrible taste in men." I rolled my eyes once again and snatched my phone out of his hands. "So you finally admit you do like men?"
Hoseok shot me a disgusted look, "I don't like men! Not that it's wrong or anything but I prefer girls."
"Sure you do." I sad with a hint of sarcasm in my voice. He gave me a straight face before ruffling my hair, making it absolutely messy. I pushed his hand away and glared at him as I attempted to fix my hair.
"Aish you're so annoying."
Hoseok gave a dry chuckle, "yet I'm still your best friend so I guess we're the perfect set of friends there are." I nodded agreeing with him. "But tell me honestly, you undeniably like Jimin because I don't need him breaking your heart."
I smiled, "yeah I do kind of like him." ______________________________________
"So you're telling me that your members want to come over to my house just to use our practice room and then they'll leave?" I raised an eyebrow at Taehyung who was grinning and nodding his head.
I rubbed my temples, "are you sure you're not going to invite them to live at my house because if I remember right Jimin makes breakfast, Jungkook occasionally makes lunch and I make dinner while what do you do Taehyung?"
He shrugged,"fine I'll cook."
Jimin and Jungkook ran into the room with frightened expressions "No V don't worry about it Jungkookie and I can handle it for you!" Jimin stammered, nearly bursting my ear drum. Jungkook was nodding vigorously. Taehyung looked at me, gave me a short smirk and looked away with triumphant still in his eyes.
"Come on! Wouldn't you love it if Taehyung was your slave for a day or two?" I said, it obviously caught their attention but they still refused to let Taehyung cook.
Taehyung shrugged it off and walked into the kitchen to make some food.
"Noona trust me on this one, I know you wouldn't want to die early."
Without hesitation I flicked his forehead. Taehyung walked out with a plate of kimbap in his hands and a giant smile plastered across his lips.
The food looked pretty good. It seemed edible so I didn't know what all the fuss was about, he seemed like a pretty decent cook. I reached out to take one but Jimin and Jungkook stopped me.
"Taehee don't do this, we need you to be here with us." Jimin frowned, slowly forcing me to pull my hand down to my sides.
"Don't exaggerate."
"Then it was nice knowing you Noona."
"Oh come on it can't be that bad!"

I groaned as I laid on top of Jimin's lap. He massaged my forehead for me and put on a worried smile.
"Well I did say you shouldn't eat it." He muttered and put his thumb on my forehead, swirled it around to make various patterns. "Does it feel better now?"
"No."
He gave a small chuckle as I shuffled around a little to get comfortable again. He smelt sweet, "did you eat cake while I was hanging with friends?" I smiled.
"It's okay to say that Hoseok was that friend you know? People won't mind. And to answer your question yes I did. Jinae bought a couple pieces of cake and we are some together."
My heart squeezed again and my smile disappeared as my stomach twisted frustratingly. His hit breath touched my skin and I shivered at the slightest touch.
"Solbi got angry at me. She said I was acting selfish for not letting you hang out with your friends." He said, "sorry."
He was just so cute right now I couldn't help but have that bad feeling go away and be replaced by good vibes.
I squeezed his cheeks and grinned, "it's okay."
"Oppa what would you do if you really like this girl but she's your brother's best friend. And you know the they far beyond your league." He thought for a moment before looking at me and tucking my hair behind my ear.
"I would do everything I can to make her love me back."
I sat up slowly and looked at his eyes, falling deeply into them as he plastered a warm smile across his face.
"Oppa I need to tell you something."
