CHAPTER - 16

Next day :-

There is no word that can express how happy jungkook was.

Jungkook's p.o.v - he is mine, kim taehyung belongs to jeon jungkook. That greek god belongs to me and me only. I am no longer a side character of his story. I am the fucking main lead. Damn i am feeling like to die in the happiness. Only this heart knows how countless times i have prayed to god for you to be mine tae only this heart knows how many painful nights i have spent thinking of you.

Thinking this jungkook was going to ask tae to go out with him for real today. He was looking for his tae here and there but he didn't find him anywhere some students were also giving him some weird looks but he didn't care about them , his mind was filled with his taehyungie as always.

After some time of looking for him he finally found him with his friends they were having some serious conversation or more like they were arguing but as jungkook was lost in his thoughts , he didn't notice it and went straight to taehyung avoiding all those weird stares. Jungkook went to tae who was standing back facing to him and said while taping his shoulder.

Jungkook - taehyungie

Jungkook didn't expect that he will receive a hard slap in return.

Taehyung had punched him many times but he never felt this blank , not because the slap was so hard but jungkook didn't expect it , he was shattered , for some seconds his mind went blank he wasn't able to process it. Jungkook looked in tae's eyes which were helding anger.

Jungkook with hurtful eyes - tae

Taehyung grab handful of his hairs from back and said - DON'T YOU DARE TO CALL MY NAME FROM YOUR SINFUL MOUTH.

Jennie - ARE YOU HAPPY NOW?

Jungkook didn't say anything he was just looking in tae's eyes and was trying so hard to find that love and care in those eyes that he found yesterday for himself.

Jennie - you slutty nerd ! how could you do that to taehyung?

Listening to jennie's word jungkook finally spoke

Jungkook - what did i do?

Jack - don't play dumb okay?

Jack went near jungkook and showed him the pictures of him and tae in coffee shop , flower shop , helding each other's hand but the video of them made jungkook widen his eyes in shock. It was the video of yesterday when they were making love.

jungkook immediatly threw the phone away in anger and said

Jungkook - tae i swear to god i didn't do anything. I'm not behind it.

Tae grabbed his jaw harshly and said

Tae - THEN WHO ELSE DID IT HUH? No one knew about it except for you and i.

Jungkook looked in tae's eyes desperately and said

Jungkook- trust me tae

Tae's eyes soften his heart was telling him to believe his bunny , his heart was telling him to keep looking in his eyes but did he listen to his heart? No he didn't , he looked away and jennie said

Jennie - you don't deserve his love nerdy. You are disgusting and ugly but tae still loved you and you-

Jennie got cut off when tae spoke

Tae - i never loved him. It all was just an act.

Jack - what? You don't love him?

Tae - obviously not , do you really think i'll fall in love with a nerd like him.

Jennie - but then why did you do that?

Tae - i did it for my Gucci bag

Jungkook didn't utter a single word he was just listening everything silently , his heart was aching so much but he kept quite. He was beyond hurt today but surprisingly there was not a single tear in his eyes today. Jungkook was shattered from inside. He was in pain.

Jack - but who knew that it all was his trap to take his revenge on you

Jennie - yeah taehyung we need to teach him a lesson today so that he won't do this to anyone else.

Saying this jennie signalled jack and kai to come forward

Jack and kai started to go near jungkook who closed his eyes , it was looking like he was giving them the permission to beat him and they knew that jungkook is not gonna hit them back today. He was too broken to do that. They were about to hit him when someone shout from behind making them stop.

? - DON'T YOU DARE TO TOUCH HIM

Even though jungkook knew whose voice it was but he still hoped it to be taehyung's. Jungkook opened his eyes in hope to see his taehyungie behind the voice but to his disappointment , it wasn't tae. it was jimin.

Jack - jimin

Jimin ignored jack and went straight to tae

Jimin - stop them or you'll regret it taehyung

Jungkook - jimin please stay away

Jimin - jungkook

Jungkook stayed quite and closed his eyes again signalling jack and kai to hit him.

Jack and kai started to through punches on jungkook's face , stomach and all over his body making him to fell on ground and they started kick him.

Jimin wanted to stop them but he couldn't do anything except for pleading taehyung to stop them. Finally when tae noticed that jungkook is about to pass out , he stopped them and went from there leaving jungkook half conscious on floor and jimin sobbing.

Jimin while sobbing - i told you to stop loving him

Jungkook eyes were dry he was laying there lifelessly which was making jimin to cry his heart out.

Jimin - it wasn't worth it jungkook. You shouldn't have love him. He don't deserve it.

Flash back :-

Taehyung was happy , he felt complete today.

Tae's p.o.v - what kind of black magic have you done to me kook ? Whatever you have done , i'm finally happy after a long time.

Taehyung was smiling madly while waiting for his bunny in the college corridor when he noticed that some students were looking him weirdly. He felt a bit uncomfortable with those stares so he decided to go to the rooftop instead but stopped when he heard someone calling him. It was jennie , kai and jack.

Jack - where were you?

Taehyung - why? What happened?

Kai - taehyung are you dating jungkook?

That question made taehyung freeze on his spot. He gulped hard before saying

Taehyung - what the fuck are you saying

Jack - what the fuck we are saying? Are you serious taehyung? What the fuck did you do? You are dating that piece of a shit

Taehyung grabbed jack's collar furiously and said

Taehyung - its none of your business , be in your limits jack

Kai - its everyone's business now taehyung

Taehyung left jack's collar and turned to kai with a confused look

Taehyung - what do you mean?

Kai handed over his phone to tae and showed some pictures and a video to him which left taehyung dumfounded and hella mad

Taehyung clenched his fist and said

Taehyung - who did this?

Jennie - who else will do this? That slut-

Jennie's words cut off when taehyung groaned at her

Taehyung - SHUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH

Jack - okay taehyung we won't say anything about him anymore but you tell us one thing , except for you two who else knew about it?

Taehyung was speechless at that moment , it was true that no one knew about it.

Jennie - he fooled you taehyung , he took his revenge on you.

Listening to this taehyung stepped back

Taehyung's p.o.v - no no no this can't be true , he can't betray me. He loves me he told me that he loves me

Kai - use your brain taehyung it's very obvious , i mean why would he ever love his bully. It's clear that he did it just to take his revenge.

Even though tae didn't want to believe it but everything they were saying was making sense and it was making him feel furious and heartbroken at the same time. Taehyung didn't know what to say or think right now but what he knew was that he can't look pathetic infront of his friends. He need to show like he doesn't care. He must look strong infront of everyone or else everyone will make fun of him and he'll become a joke in everyone's eyes.

Flash back ended ~

Next day :-

There were no words that could describe how happy Jungkook felt.

Jungkook’s P.O.V - He is mine. Kim Taehyung belongs to Jeon Jungkook. That Greek god belongs to me—and me only. I am no longer a side character in his story. I am the main lead. God… I feel like I could die from happiness. Only my heart knows how many times I prayed to God for you to be mine, Tae. Only my heart knows the countless painful nights I spent thinking of you.

Lost in this thought, Jungkook planned to ask Tae to go out with him for real today. He searched for him everywhere, ignoring the weird stares from other students. His mind was entirely consumed by his Taehyungie.

After some time, he finally found Tae with his friends. They were in a heated discussion—or rather, an argument—but Jungkook, lost in his thoughts, didn’t notice. He walked straight to Tae, ignoring the stares, and tapped him on the shoulder.

Jungkook - Taehyungie…

PANG!

Jungkook didn’t expect the hard slap that followed.

Tae had hit him before, but never like this. Jungkook felt blank—not because the slap hurt, but because he hadn’t anticipated it. For a few seconds, his mind froze. He looked into Tae’s eyes and saw only anger.

Jungkook (hurt) - Tae…

Tae grabbed a fistful of his hair.

Taehyung - DON’T YOU DARE CALL MY NAME WITH YOUR SINFUL MOUTH!

Jennie - ARE YOU HAPPY NOW?

Jungkook said nothing. He stared into Tae’s eyes, searching desperately for the love and care he had seen there just yesterday.

Jennie - You slutty nerd! How could you do this to Taehyung?

Finally, Jungkook spoke.

Jungkook - What did I do?

Jack - Don’t play dumb, okay?

Jack stepped closer and shoved his phone in Jungkook’s face. Pictures—coffee shop, flower shop, holding hands—and then a video that made Jungkook’s eyes widen in shock. It was from yesterday… when they had made love.

Jungkook threw the phone away in anger.

Jungkook - T-Tae… I swear to God, I didn’t do anything. I’m not behind this.

Tae grabbed his jaw harshly.

Taehyung - THEN WHO ELSE, HUH? No one knew about it except you and me.

Desperation filled Jungkook’s eyes.

Jungkook - Trust me, Tae…

Tae’s eyes softened, his heart urging him to believe his bunny, to keep looking into his eyes—but he didn’t. He looked away.

Jennie - You don’t deserve his love, nerdy. You’re disgusting and ugly—but Tae still loved you, and you—

She was cut off by Tae.

Taehyung - I never loved him. It was all just an act.

Jack - What? You don’t love him?

Taehyung - Obviously not. Do you really think I’d fall for a nerd like him?

Jennie - Then why did you do it?

Taehyung - I did it for my Gucci bag.

Jennie - Yeah, Taehyung. We need to teach him a lesson today, so he won’t do this to anyone else.

Jennie signaled Jack and Kai forward.

They approached Jungkook. He closed his eyes, silently giving them permission to strike. He wouldn’t fight back—he was too broken. They raised their fists, ready to hit when a voice shouted from behind.

? - DON’T YOU DARE TOUCH HIM!

Jungkook knew the voice—but still hoped it was Tae. He opened his eyes, expecting to see his Taehyungie—but it wasn’t him. It was

Jack - Jimin…

Ignoring Jack, Jimin ran straight toward Tae.

Jimin - Stop them, or you’ll regret it, Taehyung!

Jungkook - Jimin… please, stay away.

Jimin - Jungkook…

Jungkook remained silent, closing his eyes again, signaling Jack and Kai to hit him. They started punching him—face, stomach, all over—until he fell to the ground. They kicked him relentlessly.

Jimin wanted to intervene but could only plead with Tae. Finally, seeing Jungkook nearly unconscious, Tae stopped them and walked away, leaving Jungkook half-conscious on the floor, and Jimin sobbing.

Jimin (sobbing) - I told you not to love him…

Jungkook lay there, dry-eyed and lifeless, his body broken. It made Jimin cry even harder.

Jimin - It wasn’t worth it, Jungkook. You shouldn’t have loved him. He doesn’t deserve you.

Flashback ~

Taehyung was happy—he felt complete today.

Jack - What the fuck we are saying? Are you serious, Taehyung? What the fuck did you do? You’re dating that piece of shit?

Fury flared. Tae grabbed Jack by the collar.

Taehyung - It’s none of your business. Stay in your limits, Jack.

Kai - Well, it’s everyone’s business now, Taehyung.

Tae released Jack’s collar and turned to Kai, confused.

Taehyung - What do you mean?

Kai handed Tae his phone, showing pictures—and a video—that left Tae dumbfounded and seething with rage.

Taehyung (clenching his fists) - Who did this?

Jennie - Who else would do this? That slut—

Her words were cut short by Tae’s groan.

Taehyung - SHUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH!

Jack - Okay, Taehyung. We won’t say anything more about him… but tell us one thing. Besides you two, who else knew about it?

Tae was speechless. It was true—no one else knew.

Jennie - He fooled you, Taehyung. He took revenge on you.

Tae took a step back, his heart pounding.

Tae’s p.o.v - No… no… no… this can’t be true. He can’t betray me. He loves me—he told me he loves me…
