Chapter 9

Kat's POV

I let out a sigh the next morning. I had this pounding headache, and I honestly didn't wanna go do anything today.

Especially with Jaz.

Of course I don't have school on a Saturday. That was just an excuse to get out of there.

I didn't want Jaz and Steven together in the same room for too long.

I know, I know. Steven loves me.

But Jasmine isn't me. She's better, and I don't want Steven to see that.

I heard a light knock at my bedroom door, and then it flew open.

I shot up, and looked at Vic.

"What the fuck?!" I almost yelled.

She smirked. "You weren't answering your phone. Where were you last night?"

"I went out. With my sister." I replied.

"Okaaaay. That sounds fun. So why are you still in bed??" She asked, raising an eyebrow, while crossing her arms over her chest.

I sighed. "I'm probably just being paranoid. But, last night, I went to an Aerosmith concert with Jaz. And she...um...said something about Steven. I think she has a thing for him." I said, looking up at Vic.

"Okay, and?" She replied after a second.

"Isn't that bad?" I asked hesitantly.

"Well, if she makes a move on him, or him on her, then yeah, it's bad. But why would they? Steven loves you, and you're her sister. There's boundaries, you know. Just chill out, Kat baby, okay?"

I sighed, smiling. "You're right. Like usual."

After a minute of comfortable silence, my eyes widened.

"Ahhh, shit. I'm hanging out with both of them today. They should be here about an hour apart. They would have been here earlier, but I kinda, sorta, lied saying I had school today..." I muttered.

Vicky glared at me. "Really, Kat? What person has classes on a Saturday?!!"

I groaned. "I know, I know, I'm stupid. Ugh. Okay. You gonna leave??"

"Well, I'm not gonna stay!" She exclaimed, laughing, as I started to laugh too.

Just then, a voice called out my name.

"Kat?!"

I felt a tingly feeling in my gut. Steven.

He smiled wide as he entered into my bedroom.

"Hey baby." He said to me, then glanced over at Vic.

"Hi, Steven. This is Victoria, my best friend." I introduced them.

Vic glared at me, then flashed a short smile at Steven.

"Well, I'm gonna head out. Have fun, guys." Vic said, blowing me a kiss.

After my bedroom door closed, Steven smirked at me, then walked over to sit next to me on the bed.

"Hey, Kat. Why are you still in bed?"

I chuckled. "I just have a little headache, is all."

Steven maneuvered us so I was in his arms, my head on his chest.

"Do you want me to rub it?" He asked, placing a kiss on my forehead.

I smiled softly.

"I think I'll just go take a shower. Will you wait in here?" I asked, looking up at him.

He smiled that signature smirk, and kissed me. We kissed for a few minutes, leaving me breathless.

"Okay..I'm gonna..." I spoke against his lips, out of breath.

"I'll be here." Steven replied, grinning at me.

I managed to get into the bathroom without collapsing from weak knees.

I turned on the shower, my back turned.

As soon as the water started heating up, I felt hands pulling on my shirt.

Steven pulled me into his arms, as I giggled.

"What happened to waiting out there?" I flirted.

"I didn't wanna wait. Let's take a shower." Steven flashed me a cheeky smile, a mischievous look in his chocolate brown eyes.

I smiled, thinking.

'Why not?'

I allowed him to undress me, as I unbuttoned his half-buttoned shirt.

In a flash, we were stepping into the hot, steaming, water.

My heart was pounding, I was so nervous.

I didn't usually sleep with a man right away. Chris and I didn't have sex until at least six months into our relationship. Steven and I have only been dating for less than a week.

But this time was different.

My thought train was cut off as Steven pushed me up against the shower tile wall gently. I wrapped my legs around him, and entangled my hands in his hair.

Our lips met, and our bodies were as close as possible.

Steven maneuvered himself so he was ready.

"You sure about this, baby?" He whispered.

I smirked, biting my lip. I kissed him, as his hands flew over my body.

"Do it."

Steven obeyed, and instantly, I felt so much pleasure that I let out a short moan.

"Steven..."

Steven and I finished up, and with only a few minutes to spare, we heard a knock on the door.

I walked over, and opened it.

Jaz smiled at me, hugging me tightly.

"Hey Kit Kat! Not too much pain this morning, right??"

I laughed, "No, I'm good. How are you?"

"Better. Now that I'm here with you."

I rolled my eyes playfully, as Steven emerged from my bedroom.

Jaz eyed me, a playful look on her face.

She knew what had went on. She's my sister, plus, she's not stupid.

"Hey, Steven." She purred.

I felt a twist in my gut, as Steven slid his arm around my waist.

"Hey honey." He replied, looking at her briefly, then down at me.

His face contorted into a weird look of concern.

But as soon as it was there, it was gone.

Man, was I gonna hear it later.

"So-" I started. "What are we gonna do guys?"

"That's actually why I came by. Could we do a rain check?" Jaz asked.

I looked at her weird.

"Um..okay. You alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. I just have to take care of something at my apartment. But you guys can hang out. I'll see you tomorrow? We can do something for Halloween!"

I smacked my forehead. "Oh yeah! I forgot about Halloween. I've been so busy with school, and the whole Chris thing, I totally forgot to buy a costume!"

Jaz laughed. "It wouldn't be Halloween without Kit Kat dressing up!"

I glared at her playfully.

"Okay...so I'll see you tomorrow?"

Jaz nodded, shooting me a quick wave, and exited.

I can't say I'm not a little bit relieved that she won't be with us today.

'God, Kat! That's your sister' I thought to myself.

That's the thing.

I was broken out of my thoughts yet again by Steven.

"So what do you wanna do? Buy a costume?" He asked.

I giggled, starting to blush.

"You don't have to come with me. It's not your fault I forgot." I replied, eyeing him.

"I want to come. Maybe I can find something too."

I kissed him quickly, and grabbing our things, we made our way out to Steven's car.
